Billy Ray Protects Miley(from Paparazzi)

So recently on Access Hollywood, they talked about how protective Billy Ray is of Miley, when it comes to paparazzi.

I admire him so much for doing something about those creeps. He says he goes up to their cars and taps on their windows and just wants to see the faces of the men who are stalking his "little girl." It's so awesome that he does that. He's actually doing something about them. I think that if more celebrities turned the tables on the paparazzi, they might back off a little. Wishful thinking perhaps, but possible.

I think that was the full length interview. That's all they showed on the show yesterday. If I were a stalkerazzo, I'd be afraid of having the tables turned on me, especially by an over protective papa bear of a father. So props to Billy Ray.

I'm sure every kid is treated the same, you just only see it with Miley because she's in the public eye. We saw on Home at Last that the love is pretty equal. Plus, Miley is his first born daughter, so she'd be the favourite anyway, regardless of fame.:)

well I've heard this story before and the reason he had declared it Miley's day was because she was going off on her tour that week.
I watched home at last and he treats all of the kids like that, he had some really cute stuff with Noah, Briason(sp?) and Brandi(the other kids weren't in it, at all). I do think Billy Ray and Miley have a special bond though.

Aww. That's adorable. The bond between them is so palpable. I'm sure it is the same for every kid though, we just don't see it. But you also have to take into account that Miley is Billy Ray's first born daughter. That right there pretty much seals it. They both sing and she was the first one to technically leave the nest, even if he did go with her. Doesn't mean he loves her more, it just means that they maybe have more of a connection.

Exactly. He seems to treat everyone equally. The only one targeted by the paparazzi, is Miley. So that's who he needs to protect. I think Billy Ray knows that it's not just the pictures they take that are worrisome, it's what they'll do to take the picture. The paparazzi have almost driven Britney Spears off a clip, caused car crashes for Lindsey Lohan, Ellen Degeneres, and others, there's nothing they won't do to get the shot. Any normal father would freak if he knew a whole bunch of creeps were following his daughter around and taking pictures. It is different because she is famous, but the reaction is the same in a celebrity father I imagine. No father wants to have his child followed around like that.

yes. they would. and no i haven't. yeah.true. they are vultures that prey on the mishaps in people's lives. that is what they are. and yeah. they don't have much of a carrer. and yeah. no celeb has said that. and yeah. they do. they know how big of a star miley is these days. Oh. really?

They don't so much prey on the mishaps(that's tabloid reporters), as they just don't care if they cause mishaps in an effort to get their shots. What if a celebrity is epileptic? I can't imagine having those flashes in the face would be very good. They'll run cars off the road, accost people, try to provoke them into doing something bad, since a celebrity doing something bad is worth more than just a mundane shot. Miley knows this, and Billy Ray knows this. Billy Ray isn't playing by the rules, and for that, he is awesome. While he isn't at Chris Martin level yet, I don't doubt that he would if someone got too aggressive with Miley. Princess Diana was trying to get away from the paparazzi when the car crashed, though the driver was also drunk. So that one is kind of a draw.

I think this is a misquote. I read it somewhere, and I think they were taking stuff from the Access Hollywood interview. But they never used the word disappears.This quote makes it sound like he thinks the paparazzi would try to physically harm Miley. And while I don't think BR has much use for the stalkerazzi, I don't think he thinks they're evil. Must be a misquote.

I guess Billy Ray finds them pretty creepy too, though he wouldn't come right out and say it. I can't get a read on this quote. I think it's out of context, because we don't hear what he says in the interview because Miley says "because if I have to hunt you down and kill you I know what you look like.' But maybe this is what he had planned to say. Probably better she did chime in, cause this makes it look like he's accusing the paparazzi of potentially harming his children. Unless it's meant to read as the kids get so scared they disappear. But I don't think so.

I know!!!!!!! Like, Miley must be emberresed, but it is good. Billy Ray also said that if he has to, he will follow them home and stalk them like they do to the "popstar." He is a nice dad.:57:
