Miley Creeped Out By Male Fans

She said this in a radio interview. Which, in some way, I don't blame her, but in another way, that's kind of a generalization. She basically said that she thinks it's cute when fathers watch with their daughters, but finds it creepy if they don't have kids. Which, I guess I would agree in parts. I wonder if something happened to make her think that, or if the idea is just creepy to her.

I read another article, and it clarified it some more by saying that she's creeped out when lone older males show up at her concert. That I'm on board with. When a 30 something guy shows up at a concert for a 15 year old, yeah, that's a little squicky. Not that every 30 year old guy is a pedophile or potential rapist, but I can see why she'd be uncomfortable. Just before the Grammys, we saw her being mobbed outside the pre party by a bunch of 30 year old guys. Possibly fathers, possibly guys wanting stuff for Ebay, possibly creeps, maybe all three.

Lol. Yeah, I think she is cool with 25 and under, but anything older, she would probably be creeped. Unless it's John Mayer, whom she seemed to have no problem with. Then again, it might be different when it's other artists. I remember when I saw her backstage with Kobe Bryant, but he had his daughters with him. So it was cool. She is only fifteen years old, I don't think she can be blamed for being uncomfortable around single older men who aren't peers. I remember on Jay Leno, he asked if lots of creepy guys approach her, and she just said stalkerazzi. But since she does go to all these after parties now, it probably isn't just stalkerazzi.

No for sure. That's what I meant. I don't think anyone thinks anything bad has happened, nor do I think anything bad will happen. If she's not with her mother, or father, she's with her sister, or a driver, or someone of authority. If any of these potential perverts(let's call them), tried anything, they'd get their butts handed to them. She's definitely a well protected girl.

I don't think she's afraid so much as uncomfortable. She didn't sound afraid when she said it, just a bit uncomfortable. Some of these guys could even be her father's age(mid 40's). That probably makes her a little uneasy. There was that video on TMZ where it showed her signing autographs for guys who were 30-40 and she looked a little overwhelmed. But I think she knows that she's well protected. Most of these guys are all talk/thought. They'd never act on it, and if they tried, they would be in so much trouble.

Like, it's not the first thing she thinks about in terms of fame. I don't know why the media puts so much emphasis on a young star becoming a train wreck, when there are much more dangerous threats out there. This girl is 15, and while she has loads of security at concerts, she doesn't seem to have much outside of them. I think she knows they're out there though. So maybe the security is just more stealthy. One thing this girl is not, is naive. I think she and her family know that with fame, comes haters, and a pile of creeps to contend with. Maybe not directly, but there is an awareness.

I am older fan who really enjoys watching the show. It's very funny without being crude or stupid. I enjoy seeing the guest stars on the show. I think she's a very nice young lady who has good values. I enjoy Billy Ray's music too. I hope she wouldn't feel creeped out if I want to see her in concert.

There are some guys who do leer at young girls and it's wrong. I know that you don't look at girls that way or say innapropiate things to them. You treat girls with respect and dignity. If I had a younger sister or daughter I wouldn't want some guy leering at her.

In an older thread a single male fan asked if it would be awkward if they went to a concert to see her. Many replied it woule be fine because she has many fans of different ages and sexes.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's probably in the back of her mind, not the forefront. I mean she's probably had guys who have probably looked at her in a less than innocent fashion, so she may be a bit on edge. But in general, I'm sure she's cool with anyone enjoying her show/concert.

I'm thinking when she says that, it's probably a 3/10 thing. I'm sure she doesn't think every guy who shows up to the concert alone is a creep.
