American Schools.?

I want to know; if i lived in America..what grade i would be in. Just cause ive always wondered. I live in Scotland and im in S2 (2nd Year) i think in England thats like Year 9 or something? But i want to know what grade i would be in. Im 13, i willl be 14 in June..if that helps?:)

umm it depends when you turned 13. if you just did, 7th. if you're almost 14, you'd be in 8th grade.

If your a Autumn and winter child, then at 13 you would be in 8th grade. If your a spring and summer child, then at 13 you would be in 7th grade. But think it's the first one (8th) since you said you just completed your 2nd school year.

You'd be in 8th grade because S2 in Scotland is the same as year 9 in england and year 9 in england in 8th grade (like it's a number lower for every year/grade)

You'd be in eigth. I'm 15 and I'm a freshman in high school. Last year I turned 14 in eigth so yea.

i am pretty sure you'd be in 7th grade. but it depends on what school you go to. if you went to my school then you and i would probally have a couple classes together

Whoah... how do schools in Scotland work?

Ehh. Well its pretty simple really.
Your first year in school is called p1 (age5)
Your second year in school is called p2 (age6)
And so on..All the way up to p7 (age 12)
Those seven years (your first seven years) in school is called Primary School.
Primary School--Hence the reason for the 'p' in p1, p2, p3 etc..

Then after p7 you go onto high school which is also called secondry school.
In this there is S1, for your first year in high school.
S2, for your second year in high school.
And so on..All the way up to S6 which is the senior year then after that you leave for university or collage.
Secondry School--Hence the reason for the 'S' in S1,S2,S3 etc..

Okayy so its sounds really complicated but its actually really simple.:P

Yeah thats about the same as how schools are in Zimbabwe and if I lived in Scotland I'd be in the same year as you coz I turn 14 in March
