In today's world, there is no reason to lose track of your close friends, why don't you create a private group in Yahoo called mileygirl1997 friend. This will allow to maintain those relationships, whereever you mov, you will make new friends, you might even find one of us. Be positive. Have fun

Yeah, this can be really upsetting. But you can still keep in touch with your close friends. And don't think of it as something bad, think of it as a new experiance to make new friends, and have fun. Think about it, you can go to a new school and be who ever you want to be!! =)
hope it helps

i know how you feel and don't worry, there are tons of ways to keep in contact with your friends when you move. and going to a new school is always fun, there's loads of new people to meet and make new friends (and there'll be loads of hot guys you can meet). and as smiley smiley miley said, it's a new experience and a chance to have fun!

keep in touch with your friends and stuff, but don't keep yourself from making new friends. just be open to the things your new city and school are offering but don't lose touch with the people you care about now. keep the old and make some new ;)
Omg... It's Mandi... I haven't talk to you forever... WTH.. >.>...
Anyways, about your problem. There's not much to worry about.
I've moved plenty of times, I've always managed to fit in. Just be yourself, you'll have friends in no time..
Oh and.. Send me a post card ;)

I feel your pain.
At the end of 4th grade my parents decided that they were moving
me and my brother to another school, AND we were moving out of
the house we had lived in our whole lives.
I'm sure you can still keep your friends. Just make sure to stay in
contact with them. Like e-mailing, talking on the phone, etc., etc.
I managed to stay friends with the kids who I used to go to school
with. And it's been 3 and a half years since I've seen them in person.
If you ever wanna talk about it, you can always PM me. :D

try to look at it in a positive way! you'll meet loads of new people and new friends and with IM, email, the internet, and phones and everything it should be easy to stay in touch with ur old friends! :)
