New way to colorize

Ok..if u have gimp this may be easy...its more an tip

1.Found an picture with an one-color background or one that have more than a color but have more than one..for example grass and trees
2.go to filters-color-channel mixer and put as base color the color of the background..then play with the channels until u love the result
3.the go to layers-duplicate layers
4.press ctrl L and put the duplicate of the image in hard light of soft light.
And tharan..it would look like this...u can too use the color that the pic have more

yah..its that my computer have an uggly blue tint and i dont know how to get it off...and no..it was not a second ..it was like 1 hour
