View Full Version : Another script (without a name)

I once said that I wouldn't write another fantasy script; guess I lied. Maybe the writer's strike motivated me.
Haven't given the thing a name though, not always that good at naming things. Warning though, it's quite long (not as long as the first one I did though, this is closer to what a normal HM script would be in length. Too bad I haven't been able to get hold of an original script yet). I'm not posting it on here for that reason but linking it externally, it's just too long to post on here (the layout would get screwed up as well).

It will really be a while before I write another one though, have to get back to rewriting my movie script.

I thought of a title, a spin off of a song of course
Not-So-Sweet Sixteen

I was thinking about something in that direction, not really a classic song though.

I've been thinking about the title thing, the best thing I came up with so far is "Bittersweet Sixteen" which would be sort of a play on "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve, not too fond of that one though.
Just wondering, is this really too long? Since I'm noticing that not that much people are reading it? Or does it have to do with the lay-out? Can't really do it in a different layout if that's the problem; it's a normal sitcom script layout.

It's clear to me now that people don't actually read things that aren't posted on the forum itself, so I guess I'll try posting it in parts after all; even with the messed up lay-out. Just to note that it will take fourteen parts if it's posted like this. If nobody replies after this I of course bother posting the rest :P. And no I still don't have a name for it.
ACT ONE
SCENE A
FADE IN
EXT. OUTSIDE OF A CLUB - NIGHT
A CROWD IS STANDING OUTSIDE OF A CLUB ALONGSIDE A RED
CARPET. A REPORTER IS STANDING ON THE RED CARPET AS HANNAH
AND LOLA WALK UP.
REPORTER
Reporting from Hannah Montana's big
sixteenth birthday bash here; and
here comes the birthday girl
herself.
HANNAH WALKS UP TO THE REPORTER WHO STARTS INTERVIEWING
HER.
REPORTER
Happy birthday Hannah.
HANNAH
Thank you.
REPORTER
How does it feel to be sixteen?
HANNAH
Just great, I'm so excited about
this party.
REPORTER
So what will this sixteenth year
bring us on the Hannah Montana
front?
HANNAH
I'll of course bring out another
album and I'll pretty much do
anything to keep my fans happy.
REPORTER
Well, go have fun at your party and
happy Birthday again.
HANNAH
Thanks.
HANNAH AND LILLY WALK INTO THE CLUB.
LOLA
This is so cool; you've got the best
record label ever for throwing this
party.
INT. CLUB - NIGHT
THEY GET INTO THE CLUB AND LOOK AROUND.
HANNAH
They're cool alright, I just wish
they gave me more control of the
guest list though.
LOLA
Why?
HANNAH POINTS BEHIND LOLA. LILLY TURNS AROUND AND SEES
MIKAYLA.
LOLA
I see....
MIKAYLA
Hannah! Happy Birthday.
MIKAYLA WALKS UP TO HANNAH AND KISSES HER ON THE CHEEK. AS
MIKAYLA PULLS BACK HANNAH WIPES OFF HER CHEEK.
HANNAH
What are you doing here?
MIKAYLA
Can't a friend come to your birthday
party?
HANNAH
Friends yes.
LOLA
So what are you doing here?
MIKAYLA
I was invited by Hannah.
LOLA
Not really.
MIKAYLA
It said Hannah Montana on the
invitation.
HANNAH
I didn't exactly have full control
of my guest list.
LOLA
Being invited doesn't mean you have
to come.
MIKAYLA
Can't hurt to be seen in public.
HANNAH
Depends on what kind of person you
are.
MIKAYLA
The whole world thinks we are
friends, you should be happy about
that.
HANNAH
One of the disadvantages of being
famous; things being made up about
you.
MIKAYLA
Well, have a good time anyway, ta
da.
MIKAYLA WAVES AND WALKS AWAY.
HANNAH
And I looked forward to this party.
LILLY
You still can, you can just ignore
her. Now lets party!
THEY GO INTO THE PARTY.
