introduction
When you hear the word "Hollywood", you think of fame, and celebrities -- right? You connect it with the thought of movies, TV shows and music -- correct?
There's another side to Hollywood that you may not know, however. One that you may not have known existed -- the spoiled brats. You know who I'm talking about -- the rich girls who's daddies own huge companies, who go to private school & go on weekly shopping sprees. We've all met these kind of girls -- but did you know that some of them lived in Hollywood, among the celebrities?
The sad truth is, that I'm one of those girls. My name is Casey, and I'm 14 years old. I'm a freshman at Oak Academy -- OA for short. My life was like any other rich, spoiled girl's -- until the next door neighbors moved in. I'll explain everything in the first chapter.

chapter one; once upon a time


People have always thought that we are the "mean girls." The snobby, spoiled rich girls who don't want anything to do with the normal kids, and make fun of those who don't have money flowing out of the bank like we do. But that's just a stereotype. Wanna find out about the real them? Then you'll have to hear it first hand, from one them -- like me.

My name is Casey, and I'm 14 years old. I'm a freshman at a private high school in Los Angeles, California called Oak Academy -- a school where only the smartest and richest can attend. Sure, most of my friends are "rich" like me, I suppose -- but we don't neglect normal people. I go shopping a lot, and I do lots of fun things, but only because I have the money to do it. People always assume that we are snotty, spoiled slackers who don't do anything with our lives. Gosh. I mean, come on -- if you were offered this kind of life, would you just turn it down? Of course not.

My father is the president of Hollywood Records -- that's right, the one that's owned by Disney, blah blah blah. The hype around me gets kind of annoying after a while, actually. People are always asking me if I have connections to Miley Cyrus, the Plain White T's, or the Jonas Brothers. I simply reply, "No. I've never met any of them."

And that was always the truth. My father never wanted me to "interfere with his career", and no matter how huge of a JB fan I was, he'd never let me meet them. But these days? When I respond that way, it is a lie. Because everything changed the day that the next-door neighbors moved in.

I still remember the day they moved in like it was yesterday. The moving trucks came, and I was excited to get new neighbors. I was hoping maybe another girl my age would move next door, or even a guy around my age. Even though we live in Hollywood, among the celebrities, never did it even cross my mind that someone famous would live next door.

So I pretty much died when I saw three boys in sunglasses step out of the limo that was parked in front of the house next door.

First, I did a double take. Nah ... it can't be. Must just be people who look like them.
But then I observed them closer as they stood outside in their front yard for a few minutes, waiting for their parents to finish talking to the movers.

The one with the curly hair seemed to be the quiet, reserved one -- hardly moving or saying anything. The one with the white sunglasses seemed to be the craziest -- so loud that I could nearly make out what he was saying all the way from my window, and running around like a fool. And the other? He was somewhere in between.

That's it. I have to find out the truth for myself.

My mother wanted me to "greet the new neighbors with fresh cookies" anyways, so I took it as an oppurtunity to see if these boys were really who I thought they were. I took the cookies and walked up to the house, and rang the doorbell. My heart was beating so fast. I couldn't get my hopes up, though. What if it wasn't them?

After a few seconds, the door opened and a teenage boy was standing there with white framed sunglasses. He started talking about some random thing for a few milliseconds and then suddenly stopped when he saw me. "Oh wait -- you're not my dad," he laughed a little, clearly squinting his eyes through his sunglasses.

That voice ... that laugh ... ohmyjonas! It has to be him!

I laughed a little, trying to keep my cool. "No, I'm not him. My name is Casey. My mom wanted me to give you these cookies to 'welcome you to the neighborhood'," I made air quotes, rolling my eyes a little. He took the cookies from my hands and smiled. "Thank you," he said. There was sort of an awkward silence for a few moments, and I took this as my chance.

"So ... what's your name?" I said casually.

He stuttered for a few seconds "Um ... my name ... my name is Adam," he said.

Adam. Darn. Obviously not Joseph Ad -- ohmygosh! Joe's middle name is Adam!

"Nice to meet you, Adam," I said, smirking a little. He wasn't going to get out of this one. "And what's your last name?" I was totally on to him.

"My last name..." he said, thinking ... "J--Jones." he finished.

"Okay, Joe Jonas," I said, watching him jump a little when I said that. He sighed and took off his sunglasses. "How did you know?" he said, his eyes wide.

"Any real fan would know that your middle name is Adam," I giggled, trying my best not to shriek or yell or just "eep" out loud. "And 'Jones'? Come on, isn't that just a little too close to 'Jonas'?"

He laughed, "I guess you're right. I'll work on that next time," he winked, grinning. "I should probably get inside," he said, "I'll see you around?"

"Yeah," I smiled my best smile, "I'll see you around."

With that, I turned back around and walked straight into my house, and opened my cell phone as quickly as I could. I hit speed dial 4 -- Alexx -- and pressed send.

"Hello?" I heard a voice from the other end.

And all I could do was shriek. Really, really loud.

but oh well. & dont worry, other characters will be introduced in the next chappie.

so im really sorry =P it just seemed to fit well ...

chapter two; there were nine best friends


Alexx's POV:
Oh gosh. It's something Jonas related. I can feel it.

"What, what?!?" I sighed into the phone, "Casey, this better be something good. You nearly made me go deaf in my right ear!"

I heard Casey giggle a little on the other line, "Sorry! I just had to get that out!"

Casey had been my best friend for about four years now. I met her long before her father became a huge success with the record company and everything. I was afraid she'd ditch me when she got all rich and moved to L.A. and everything, but luckily she didn't.

"Well?" I said, waiting for her to tell me what was up.

"You will not believe who just moved in next door to us," she squealed, trying to contain herself (I could tell). What the heck was she talking about? She was being over-dramatic as usual ... again ... it was probably just some random cute guy who moved next door.

"Who?" I sighed, almost sarcastically. I wanted to get this phone call over with. I prepared myself and held the phone about an inch from my ear, just in case she screamed -- and now I'm glad I did.

"THE JONAS BROTHERS!!!!!!!" she screamed. I could almost see her eyes widening and he bouncing up and down on her bed.

But then I thought again -- come on, that can't be true. Is this just some kind of joke?

"Casey... seriously ... what is up? I'm not really in the mood for jokes today."

"But I'm not kidding!" she squeaked, "I'm really really not! They did! I swear!"

I sighed. She was my friend, and if she was acting this excited, it had to be real ... right?

"So the Jonas Brothers are seriously living next door ... to your house?" I said, still not completely convinced.

"YES! YES YES YES!"

She went on to tell me the whole story about 'Adam Jones', and I seriously could not believe my ears. Of course I didn't like JB as much as Casey ... but I did like them!

"Wow ...." I said, sort of shocked. Even with Casey being the spoiled, rich brat that she is, I never actually thought she'd live next-door to the Jonas Brothers... whoah.

"Ok well I'm gonna go tell my other friends," she said. I could tell she was smiling.

"Okay," I laughed, "Talk to you later."


Casey's POV:
I hung up with Alexx, and called Jenny right away.

"Hello?"

"Jenny!" I said, smiling. She was going to die when I told her. I wanted to get everyone on the phone first, though, so I wouldn't have to repeat everything. "I have the BEST news! But first, I need to connect everyone else. Okay?"

"Okay ..." she said, obviously curious.

I connected Adri, Katie, Lex, Maria, Ashley, Aly, and Kristin and then added Jenny from the other line. All nine of us were there. And then ... I told them.

I think Kristin, Katie and Lex didn't quite believe me at first, but everyone else freaked out. Soon, after telling them the whole story, they all believed me, and pretty much started freaking out.

"You have to let us come over," Jenny said. I could feel her smiling through the phone.

"Yeah!" Kristin piped us, "You can't leave us out!"

I thought for a second. "Guys, I dont think they're going to want nine teenage girls just showing up at their door...." I frowned. I didn't want to scare them away or something! Maybe telling them about JB was a mistake ...

"How about we come over in shifts?" Katie suggested, "Like a few of us each day? That way, they won't get totally scared and run away," she giggled.

I liked that idea. I really did. "Okay..." I said, thinking, "But how do we decide who gets to see them first?"

"I'll see them first!" and "Me!" they all said almost simultaneously. Crap. You know, now that I think of it ... what if Joe didn't want me to tell anyone that it was him? I mean he WAS sort of trying to disguise himself ... but now that I've told my friends, how can I not let them see them? Put yourself in their position Casey ...

"I dunno yet," Casey shrugged, even though they couldn't see her. "I don't think anyone should see them today, anyways. They JUST moved in, guys -- give them some peace & quiet. I'll sleep on it and decide tomorrow."

They sighed, "Ok, fineeee," Maria whined.

"But you HAVE to let us see them sometime!" Ashley squealed.

"Yes! You HAVE to, Casey!" Aly chimed in.

"Ok, ok ... I will," I moaned. This was just gonna turn into one huge fight at some point ... I wasn't really looking forward to this. "I'm gonna go," I finished.

"Bye."
