Chapter 1: Excitement.

Casey's POV:
"And caller #25 will recieve free tickets and backstage passes to the Jonas Brothers concert when they come to Sacramento next week! All they have to do is answer a trivia question abotu any one of the Jonas Brothers to win! Alright, the phone lines are open.....NOW!"
Immediately, I flipped my cell phone open and dialed the radio station's number as quickly as possible. Slapping the phone to my ear, I listened to the ring.
"Hello lucky 25th caller, who is this?" I heard in the phone and on the radio.
I almost screamed, I couldn't believe I was on the air!
"Um...yes my name is Casey." I said nervously.
Well Casey, congrats on being the 25th caller, here's your question..." The man said on the radio and into my ear, "What is Nick Jonas' full name?"
I replied almost automatically, knowing the answer right after he stated the question, "Nicholas Jerry Jonas!" I gasped.
"That is......CORRECT! YOU'VE WON AS MANY FREE TICKETS AND BACKSTAGE PASSES TO THE JONAS BROTHER'S CONCERT FOR YOU AND ALL YOU'RE FRIENDS! Congratulations Casey!" The man said.
"OH MY GAWD!" I screamed, jumping up and down hysterically. "Thank you so much!!! I love the Jonas Brothers, they're my favorite band ever! I'm so excited!!!! I need 6 tickets and backstage passes please."
"Alright Casey, we have plenty of tickets and passes. Check your mailbox for the package soon! Congrats again!"
"Thank you so much!" I said, hanging up. And then I jumped up onto my bed and screamed louder than ever. I couldn't stop smiling.

Chapter 2: "Inviso-friends!"
3 days later.....
Starry's POV:
I was sitting on my bed, listening to my iPod and singing along to "That's Just The Way We Roll" by JB.
"We are wild, we are free, we are more than you think. So call us freaks, but that's just the way we roll!" I sang to myself.
In the middle of my song, I heard the song "True Friend" and realized it was my cell phone ringing. Pausing my iPod and taking off my headphones, I flipped open my cell phone.
"Hi Casey!" I said, knowing it was her from my ringtone that I had set for her.
"Hey! It's me!" Casey said cheerfully.
"I know." I giggled, "Why so happy?"
"Yeah, so listen," She said, ignoring my question excitedly. "I need you to come over to my house right now. I have really great news!"
"Okay, I'll be there in 10!" I said, meaning I'd be there in 10 minutes.
"Alright, see ya soon!" She said in her usual peppy voice. "Bye!"
"Bye!" I said, hanging up.

5 minutes later, I was out the door and walking down the street to Casey's house. My iPod was on again, but now I was listening to "I'm Your Favroite Drug" by Porcelain and The Tramps, my favorite song. I put my iPod on hold and stuffed it into the pocket of my jeans, so I could adjust the barette I had in my brown hair.
About 10 minutes later, I reached Casey's house and rang the doorbell.
"Comiiiinnngg!" Casey's voice called from inside.
I tapped my fingers against my leg while I waited.
Then the door opened and Casey was smiling her perfect, toothy grin at me.
"Hey Starry." She said, "Come on in."
"Thanks." I said, walking into her house past her.
I had always liked Casey's house, it had this homey smell to it that I loved.
She led me to her room, and pushed open the door.
"Hi Starry!" 4 girls voices yelled as I walked inside.
I couldn't help but smile as I looked at my 4 other best friends, Maria, Hanna, Aly, and Leslie.
"Hey guys!" I said, waving at all of them, "What are you guys doing here?"
"Casey called us and told us to come." Leslie said, her almond shaped brown eyes glittering as she smiled at me.
"Yeah," Hanna said, pushing her black hair out of her eyes, "She said she had exciting news."
"Well tell us!" Maria said, always excited to hear what people had to say, "What's the news?"
"Okay," Casey said, her grin spreading across her face, "Well, I was listening to the radio yesterday and they were doing a Jonas Brothers contest. Caller #25 got free tickets to their concert."
I sat down on he bed next to Aly. "And?" I asked eagerly.
"I WON!" She squealed, "I was the 25th caller! I won 6 tickets for the concert!!!!!"
"OH MY GOD REALLY?!" Leslie squeaked from beside Maria, "That's so cool!"
"Hold up." Aly said, putting a hand up, "Why did you get 6 tickets? You only need 1....Do you have 'Inviso-Friends' or something?"
We all laughed, Aly was always making jokes.
"No I don't!" Casey said, after she recovered from giggling, "One of the tickets is for me....but the other 5 are for all of you guys! I want you all to come with me!"
Our mouths fell open in shock. I was stunned, Casey had picked me to come with her?!
And then, the screams started. We were all screaming and hugging each other and dancing around.
I jumped up and hugged Casey.
"Oh my God, thank you so much!" I yelled over the screams of my friends, "I love you!"
She laughed. "But that's not all!"
When we heard that, we were silent again, intent to hear more.
"WE ALL GET BACKSTAGE PASSES TOO!!!!!!" She shreiked in happiness.
And the screams started again as we all ran to hug Casey.
I'd never been so happy in my whole life.


Wow, that was the longest chapter ever. :P

Chapter 3: The Concert

Casey's POV:
I can't believe I'm going to meet the JoBros and see them perform!!!!!! I'm so excited! I thought as I sat in front of my mirror, fixing my short brown hair. I wasn't sure whether or not to put a barette in it. But then again, I wanted to look fabulous, since I was meeting JOE.FREAKING.JONAS tonight.
So I went with the barette and brushed the rest of my hair so that it shone.

Leslie's POV:
HOLY CRAP! I'm meeting Nick tonight!!!! AHHHH! I was so happy and nervous at the same time. I had on my favorite pink top and my new capris from Hollister on. After brushing my hair, I put the finishing touch, my silver necklace that my grandma had given me on.
I looked at myself in my long mirror and was sure that I was ready.

Third Person POV:
The girls all met at Casey's 2 hours before the concert to make posters and gifts to give to the JoBros. Casey and Starry charged their cameras and Aly charged her video camera. Then, once they had finished all of their fan stuff, Casey's mom drove them to the concert. The ride there was chaotic, with Maria's Jonas Brothers cd blaring from the car's speakers and the girls singing along loudly. When they got to the concert they parked right in front and all ran inside together, arms linked. Their first stop was the souvenir place, where they all bought JB t-shirts and posters. Then, the food court. Where they all ate dinner quickly before going into the arena to take their seats. They had amazing seats right in the first row, which made Casey proud of herself.

Then, the lights went off and the noise that came from the crowd was defeaning. Casey, Starry, Maria, Leslie, Aly, and Hanna all screamed at the top of their lungs as the concert began. And then, they heard Joe's voice.
"Hello Sacramento!" Joe's voice blared from the stage, "Are you ready to rock?"
The whole arena was screaming in excitement. Then the first bars of "S.O.S" started and blue, green, pink, and purple lights came on and the girls shouted things like "I love you!" when they saw Nick, Kevin, and Joe on stage. They were yelling the words as the guys sang them,
"Ooooh, this is an S.O.S,
Don't want a second guess
This is the bottom line
It's true
I gave my all for you
Now my hearts in two
and I can't find the other half
It's like I'm walking on broken glass
Better believe I bled
It's a call I'll never get."
The girls were all dancing and holding up their posters as the concert continued. Casey touched Joe's hand during "Hollywood", Starry touched Nick's, and Aly touched Kevin's.
So far, this was the best day of their lives.

Chapter 4: Love At First Laugh.

Starry's POV:
After the concert was finished, we clapped and cheered till out hands felt like they were gonna fall off, even after everyone else had stopped aplauding, we still did. Joe went to the mic and said, "Okay, wow. You guys should be in the Guiness Book of Records for this."
We all laughed and then we decided to leave so we could get to the meet & greet early. We picked up our stuff and linked arms again as we walked out of the place. When we were in the lobby of the arena, we started gabbing about what we were going to say to the JoBros when we met them.
"I hope they're as nice as they seem." Leslie said.
"I'm sure they'll be even better than we expect." Hanna assured her.
After we had walked for about 6 more minutes, we saw a sign that said "Meet and Greet" and pointed towards an open door in front of us.
We took a few deep breaths and walked inside.
When we all filed inside, we saw that we were the only ones there. There was only one other girl, and 2 security guards behind a table with three chairs. One for each of them boys. I thought.
Just then, the others started panicking about being the only ones there.
"Now I'm nervous!" Casey said, her eyes widening.
"Me too!" Aly said, "I didn't know that we'd be the only people here! I wanted there to be other nervous people here so I wouldn't feel so guilty!"
We laughed shakily. But I wasn't as scared about it as they were.
"But it's all the more exciting for us!" I exclaimed, "Now we can really get a good chance to talk to them!"
They nodded and then we heard something behind us that made us jump.
"Hey girls." A guy's voice said from behind us.
We turned and out mouths fell open. Right in front of us, INCHES away, were Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas. The girl was there too, she was smiling at us in a friendly way.
When Maria saw Nick standing in front of her, she fainted.
We gasped, and then giggled.
"Maria?" Casey asked, shaking her, "Are you okay?"
"Nick...Jonas....right......there...." she stuttered in awe.
I laughed and as I laughed, Nick turned and stared at me. His eyes were wide and his mouth was open.
Suddenly, I was extremely self-conscious about how I looked. I twirled my hair around my finger and tried to pretend he wasn't staring at me.
"Nick?" Joe asked, "Nick? What's wrong with you?" He thumped him on the back and Nick closed his mouth and said "What? Yeah, I agree..." as if he had lost his train of thought when he'd heard me laugh.
Right then and there, I decided that Nick Jonas was my new obsession.

Chapter 5: The Meet and Greet.

Casey's POV:
I nudged Starry out of her trance. She was staring at Nick, with her mouth lolling open, and Nick was doing the same.
Hmm... I thought, looking from one to the other, I think love is in the air....
Then the meet & greet began. Chaos followed, Leslie ran over to ask Joe to autograph her poster, Aly hugged Kevin (Kevin was nice enough to let her :P), Starry and Nick talked together, Hanna asked Joe to sign her forehead, Maria ran over and asked Nick if she could kiss his cheek and get it on video, and he agreed. She made a video of her kissing Nick and squealed afterwards. I decided to go talk to Joe, since he's my favorite. He was just finishing signing Hanna's forehead when I got to him.
"Thank you." Hanna sighed, her eyes looking out of focus, "I love you."
Joe laughed, I loved the sound of his laugh, "You're welcome. Glad you liked the show!"
"Hi Joe!" I said, my voice rising an octive as I spoke to him. "I'm one of your biggest fans. I love the concert! You guys were great."
He stared at me, and then I understood that I had made Joe Jonas nervous.
But then he seemed to snap put of it and smiled at me "H-Hi. Uh, what's your name?"
"Casey." I said, smiling widely at him.
"Well Casey, I'm glad you liked the show." Joe said, and without warning, he bent down and kissed me on the cheek.
"Wow." I said, after we'd broken apart and he's gone over to talk to Kevin.
I touched my hand to my cheek, Did that really just happen?
But before I could gather my thoughts, something else made me jump.
The door to the meet & greet swung open and a skinny, brown haired girl walked in.
"Kristin!" We all shouted, running over to hug our other best friend.
"Hi guys!" She said, smiling her perfectly white smile.
"How did you get here?" I asked, "How did you know we would be here?"
"Well, I just got back from New York and I was thinking, 'I'm missing my JoBros concert!' so I asked my mom to drive me here, but I'd already missed it. I knew you guys were here because you're mom's car was gone Casey. So I went looking for you guys and I guess I found you."
"We've all missed you Kris." Hanna said, hugging Kristin again, "Since you went to New York for 2 months, stuff's been different."
"Well, I'm back permanently now. So things can go back to normal." She replied, but then she looked up and saw the Jonas Brothers standing right in front of us again, and she gasped.
"OH MY GOD. I walked into the meet & greet?" She asked, and we all nodded. "Hey you guys!" She walked over and hugged Kevin and Joe (Nick was still over in a corner talking to Starry).
"Hey kristin!" They said, hugging her back.
I looked over at Maria, Leslie, Hanna, and Aly but they all looked as confused as I was.
"You know them already Kris?" I asked.
"Yeah, I met them at another concert." She said, grinning. Then she caught a glimpse of the girl behind them. "Jenny!"
The pretty dark brown haired girl smiled at her. "I was wondering how long it would take you to recognize me."
Kristin ran forward and hugged Jenny too, but then she turned to us.
"Guys, this is Jenny Jonas." She said, "She's Joe, Nick, Kevin, and Frankie's sister."
Jenny waved in a friendly way and I waved back.
This is turning out to be a really weird night.

Chapter 6: The Birth of Stick. :07:

Starry's POV:
It's weird how after talking to someone that you met 10 minutes ago, you can already feel like you've known them for a long time. But strangely enough, Nick's long talk with me had made me feel that way. But you could tell how nervous he still was about talking to me, since he kept asking me weird questions. I guess he was having a hard time coming up with different subjects.
"So," He said, "What's your favorite color?"
I laughed from the randomness of the question.
"What?" He asked, looking embarrassed.
"Nothing." I said, but then I decided that I should be honest with him,"Are you nervous about talking to me or something?"
"No..." He said, but I raised my eyebrows, "Okay yes, a little."
I raised my eyebrows again. "Okay a lot."
"Why?" I asked, confused. Why is Nick Jonas nervous about talking to me?
"I'm sorry Starry." He said, "I'm just....I'm not really an expert when it comes to girls."
I bit my lip, wondering what I was going to say to him, "Really? You aren't very experienced when comes to girls?"
He nodded, looking down at his feet.
"Well, you shouldn't be nervous around me." I explained, choosing my words carefully, "I don't mind that you're not the best at talking to girls. It's okay. Just be yourself, that's enough for me."
He smiled, "You're right, of course. Girls are smarter than guys, I've always thought that."
I giggled, and he seemed to stiffen a bit as I laughed.
"What is it?" I asked, worriedly.
"It's just," He replied, not looking at me, "Your laugh is what makes me nervous. It's just so.....I don't know.....perfect."
"You like the way I laugh?" I asked, my smile widening, "Thank you."
He nodded and grinned back at me, "You're welcome."
And then, with a sudden burst of confidence, I grasped his hand. He looked surprised, but despite that, he squeezed my hand gently.

Leslie's POV:
I walked over to Hanna and nudged her shoulder. She was talking to Kevin and shooed me away, "One minute," She said.
"No, not one minute, NOW!" I hissed, pulling her hand away from Kevin, "Excuse us," I said to Kevin politely.
"What?" Hanna asked, annoyed.
"Look!" I whispered, pointing over to the corner where Starry and Nick were now holding hands as they talked.
"Oh wow." Hanna said, "What are you thinking?"
I shrugged and drew a heart in the air with my fingers.
Kristin came up behind me and said, "I hope she's not thinking of starting something with him."
"Why?" Hanna and I asked in unison.
"Well, he's on the road so much, they wouldn't see each other a lot....I just don't want her to end up sad." Kristin said.
I stared back at Nick and Starry and thought that maybe Kris was right.

Chapter 7: The Perfect End to a Perfect Day

Jenny's POV:
I was staring at Nick and Starry, wondering if there was something about my brother that I didn't know. Usually Nick didn't hold hands with a girl he's met 10 minutes ago. But all of sudden this.......stranger...comes into the picture and suddenly he's being all flirty with her? It just didn't seem like the kind of thing Nick would do. I mean, it's not that I was being protective of him or something, I just thought he'd think before he did something spontanious like this. But if he was happy with Starry, then I wouldn't interfere.

Aly's POV:
While everyone was too busy goggling at Starry & Nick and Casey was off talking to Joe, I decided to get up the nerve to talk to Kevin. Kevin had always been my favorite Jonas Brother. I slowly inched my way across the room to where he was standing apparently texting someone on his phone.
"Um..." I said shakily, waving at him, "Hi Kevin."
Immediately he put his phone into his pocket and looked at me instead, "Hi, do I know you?"
"No, I'm with them," I said, pointing to the girls behind me, "I'm Aly."
He didn't seem to notice what I was saying. Instead, he seemed to be fixated on my long, black hair. Suddenly, I was worried about how I looked, because obviously when a very famous and adorable guy like Kevin Jonas is staring at your face and hair, it can lead to self-consciousness.
"What are you staring at?" I asked, trying to keep my voice at a regular pitch, "What's so interesting?"
"It's just your hair is so different looking." Kevin said, a little embarrassed. "And your eyes are also extremely lovely."
"Really? You like my eyes?" I asked, smiling. "Thank you."
He smiled back and I almost lost my breath from how perfect his smile was.

Casey's POV:
I was talking to Joe, we had been talking the whole time. Not really anything serious, but it was still a nice conversation.
"Okay, here's the speed round." Joe said, smiling his goofy grin once more. We had been going down a bunch of rounds of trivia about ourselves where Joe asks me questions about anything, and I answer or the other way around.
"You ready?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Okay...." He said, "Favorite color?"
"Um....blue!" I said quickly.
"Favorite band?" He asked.
I raised one eyebrow and was pretty sure he already knew the answer, "Jonas Brothers."
He smiled, "And that's the definate correct answer. Favorite sports team"
"Boston Red Sox!" I said.
He shook his head, "I'm not a huge fan...."
"I know." I giggled.
Just as he was about to ask me another, Maria came up behind me, "Your mom's here to take us home." She said, "We have to go."
My smile faded, I didn't want to leave Joe here and go back to my life. This whole day had been like a fantasy and it was sad that it had to end.
"Okay... gimme a second." I murmered. "I'm sorry Joe. I have to go. I'll see you maybe some other time?"
"Yeah," Joe said, sounding disappointed as well.
"Oh I know, I'll call you!" I said, "Give me your phone and I'll put my number in."
"Oh yeah, I'll do the same with your phone." He said, and we switched phones, punching numbers in quickly.
Once I was done I handed it back to him and he did the same to me.
"Well, I hope to see you again soon." Joe said, taking my hand gently.
"Yeah, me too." I said, blushing, "This whole conversation, just being able to meet you has been great. Bye!"
Before I could leave, he pulled me back and kissed me on the cheek. I loved when he did that :P.
"Casey!" Hanna's voice came from the car, "COME ON!"
"Okay!" I called back, smiling at Joe one last time before running out of the door and following my friends to the car.

Chapter 8: Still In Love With You.

the next day....
Starry's POV:
I woke up at around 8:30 the next day and practically couldn't open my eyes from how tired I was. It took me a minute to remember what had happened the night before. But then, my eyes widened as I remembered. The Meet & Greet.......concert.......Nick.....hand-holding.......Oh Crap! I wasn't sure if I would ever see Nick again, and I hadn't even given him my number! Crap crap crap! Well how am I supposed to give it to him now? He could be anywhere! O put my pillow over my head and stifled my angry yells.

Joe's POV:
I went over to Kevin's bed in the hotel room and kicked it to wake him up. "Kevin." I hissed, "Kevin!"
I hit him hard, and he woke up, startled.
"What?" He asked, sleepily.
"Look..." I said, pointing to Nick. He had been sitting on the balcony looking out at the sky since he'd woken up and gotten dressed. "He's been there all morning, I've tried talking to him, but he won't say anything except 'I'm fine' and 'Don't worry'. I'm a little worried about him Kevin."
"I'll try talking to him." Kevin said, pulling himself up out of bed and yawning. He pulled a bathrobe on and walked over to the balcony door. He knocked on it, and Nick looked up at him, but then looked right back out after he saw it was Kevin.

Kevin's POV:
I unlocked the screen door part and pushed it open. Walking over to where Nick was sitting and pulling up a chair beside him.
"Joe says you've been out here all morning." I said, carefully, "Why so depressed?"
"I'm not depressed." Nick said, stubbornly.
I stared at him, raising my eyebrows, "Is it because of that girl you-" I started to say.
"Her name is Starry." Nick said, cutting across me.
"Starry then." I said, annoyed, "Is it because of Starry?"
"Maybe a little bit." Nick muttered, still not looking at me, "Maybe a lot."
"Well, why don't you call her?" I asked, confused.
"I don't know her number." Nick said, shrugging his shoulders, "I don't know her last name, or where she lives or anything."
"Oh, I get it." I said, racking my brain for something I could say that might make him feel better. When I couldn't think of anything, I just sat there, looking out at the sky with him.

Nick's POV:
Kevin doesn't get it! I thought, angrily to myself. He doesn't know what it's like, meeting an amazing girl and having a great conversation with her but then losing her. I wish I'd thought to ask her for her number. Joe has Casey's number. But then, something went off in my brain, a spark of confidence. I got up, walked inside the hotel room and right up to Joe.
Jenny was talking to him and she looked startled to see me walking up to her, Joe had probably told her I was depressed or something.
"You have Casey's phone number right?" I asked, knowing the answer already.
"Yeah, why?" He asked suspisiously (sp?) Jenny was smiling though, she understood why.
"I need to call her." I said, holding out my hand for his phone.
"For what?" Joe asked, which was gettting more annoying by the second.
"Just give him the phone Joe." Jenny said, exasperatedly.
Joe shrugged and grabbed his cell phone off the desk by his bed and threw it to me.
Perfect. I thought as I found her number in the contacts folder and pushed TALK. Casey will know Starry's number, I'm sure of it.

Casey's POV:
I was sitting on my bed reading a magazine and wearing my Jonas Brothers sweatshirt when I heard the music to "S.O.S". I jumped, and reached for my cell phone which was laying on my bedside table.
"Hello?" I said, flipping through the magazine again.
"Um, hi Casey?" A boy's voice asked.
"Yeah." I said, "Who is this?"
"It's Nick Jonas." Nick said.
I almost screamed. Nick. freaking. JONAS was talking to me on the phone! I put the phone away from my mouth but still to my ear and mouthed the words, "OH MY GOD!".
"Hi Nick." I said, regaining control of myself, "Not to sound rude, but why did you call me?"
"I was wondering if you had Starry's phone number." He said, hopefully, "I forgot to ask her for it last night....and I kinda wanna talk to her again."
I smiled, I knew he liked her! "Yeah, I have it, I've known her since the 1st grade."
"Can you tell me it?" He asked.
"Of course!" I said.
And I spent the next minute giving him Starry's number.
"Thanks Casey!" He said, enthusiastically.
"You're welcome." I said, "Bye Nick."
"Bye." He said, hanging up.
I flipped the phone down and then I sat on my bed, smugly I knew it. I love being so right. I hope he asks her out.

Starry's POV:
I was at my computer making a new Jonas Brothers desktop, when my phone rang. I was surprised, but I hurried to answer it.
"Hello?"
"Hi Starry, it's Nick."
I almost screamed when I heard that voice.
"Oh wow." I said, "Hi Nick. What did you call me for?"
"Well, I was kinda wondering......if...." He was obviously nervous, "A bunch of us are going to Six Flags tomorrow, do you wanna come too?"
My eyes widened in shock and happiness, "Yes!" I said, a little too eagerly, "I'd love to."
"Great!" He said, sounding relieved, "Is 3:00 okay with you?"
"Yeah, that's fine." I said, "I'll see you then."
"Okay," He said, "You too."
"Bye Nick." I said.
"Bye Starry." He replied, and I could tell that he was smiling.
Once I'd hung up, I went over to my stereo, turned up the volume and started dancing around my room. I LOVE the Jonas Brothers. I thought.

Casey's POV:
Kristin, Aly, Hanna, Leslie, and Maria were over at my house. We were thinking about what Nick and Starry's date was going to be like. We all knew that he was going to ask her.
"I think they'll go out to dinner." I said, "Nick seems like that kind of guy."
"I don't know." Kristin said, "I think he'll take her to a movie."
"What about a different kind of date?" Aly piped up, "Maybe he wants to take her on a more unique date. Like a roller rink or a dance."
But before anyone else could get a word in, my phone rang. I checked the caller id and saw it was Starry. I put my finger to my lips indicating the others to be quiet, and put it on speaker.
"Hey Starry!" I said.
"Oh my gawd Case," She said, "Guess what just happened?"
"What?" I asked, already knowing the answer.
"Nick asked me if I wanted to go the Six Flags with him and I said yes!" She squealed.
"I knew it!" Hanna said unexpectedly.
"Hanna?" Starry asked, suspisciously, "Casey, is everyone over there with you?"
"Well...." I said, shrugging.
"Hi!" Kris, Hanna, Aly, Leslie, and Maria all said in unison.
"Sorry Star," I said, "They were over at my house and you called so I.....we all wanted to know what your date would be so I put you on speaker phone...... But that's awesome that he asked you out!"
"I know, I was really surprised though." She said, "And hi guys! Oh, I had a brilliant idea."
"What?" Leslie asked.
"What if you all came to Six Flags with me? Nick said that a couple of his friends were coming, so why not you guys too?" She asked.
"Yeah, I could come." Hanna said.
"Me too." Maria said.
"Me three." Kris said.
"Me four." Leslie said.
"And me!" Aly chimed in.
"Casey, what about you?" Starry asked.
"I don't know...." I said.
"Oh c'mon." She said, encouragingly, "Joe's gonna be there....I'm sure he'd love to see you."
"Okay!" I said eagerly. "See you tomorrow Star!"

Chapter 11: Six Flags

Starry's POV:
Hanna and Leslie were over at my house helping me get ready for Six Flags. They were already done, but we were double-checking my outfit. I had on a pink Hello Kitty t-shirt, with my new plaid capris from Hollister*. I had on a silver barette in my hair and my nails were a new coat of black.
"I think you're ready." Leslie said happily.
"Me too." Hanna replied, clapping her hands together, "I am so proud of you Star!"
I laughed and looked back at my reflection in the mirror, "I hope I'm ready for this date."
So Hanna and Leslie left because they thought that it would be better if I drove there with Nick so we could have, as they put it 'Alone Time".
10 minutes after they left, the doorbell rang. I jumped, grabbed my bag, and hurried down the stairs to the front door.
"Mom, I'm leaving! I'll be back later!" I called over my shoulder before opening the door.
Nick looked amazingly cute, as usual, even thought he was only wearing jeans and a t-shirt. He made jeans and a t-shirt look hot :P.
"Hey" I said, smiling.
"Hey Starry." He said, "Wow, you look really pretty."
I giggled in spite of myself, "Thank you." I said, stepping out of my house and closing the door behind me.
He led me to a car that was parked in the driveway. I waved when I saw Joe, Jenny, and Kevin in the front seats. When I got there, he held open the door so I could get in first, and got in after me.
"Hi guys!" I said to Joe and Kevin. They both said "Hey." to me.
"Hi....Jenny right?" I asked the girl sitting in-between them.
"Yeah," Jenny said, "I'm their sister."
"Oh, cool." I said, as Kevin drove out of my driveway and down the street.
"Um, Nick?" I asked after about 10 minutes of silence.
"Yeah?" He replied.
"Is it okay if I invited a few friends to meet us there?" I asked, hoping that it was.
"Sure." Nick said, "I don't mind."
I smiled and leaned back in my seat to wait for the ride to be over.

15 minutes later....
"We're heeeeerrreee" Joe said from the front seat.
I laughed, recognizing the line from Poltergeist 2.
Nick got out first and held out his hand to help me out. I took it, and he pulled me out of the car, closing the door behind me.
"Starry!" I heard someone call my name and looked around to see Maria waving her arms from the front gates of Six Flags. Casey, Aly, Leslie, Hanna, and Kris were with her.
"Those are my friends." I said, pointing to them.
We walked over to them and Casey grinned at me when Joe moved over to stand next to her. Aly sorta paired up with Kevin as well.
"Okay, so are we all here?" Kevin asked.
A chorus of "Yeah"s followed. And we all ran inside the gates.

Casey's POV:
"What do you want to go on?" I asked everyone.
"Batman!" Starry, Nick and Jenny said.
"Superman!" Maria and Hanna said, Hanna did the dance move that went with that word from the song "Crank That (Soulja Boy)".
I laughed as she did this, Hanna always made me laugh.
"Mindbender!" Kristin and Leslie said.
"Goliath!" Aly and Kevin said.
"I'll do Superman I guess." I said, looking up at Joe.
"I'll go on Superman." He said, grinning.
"Okay," Jenny said, becoming the leader of the group, "So everyone, go to your rides, you guys can go to any others you want and we'll meet back here at about 4:30. Okay?"
"Okay!" We all agreed.
"See ya'll later!" Jenny said, running off with Nick and Starry to Batman.
Joe, Maria, Hanna and I all ran off to find Superman. It didn't take long, the line was pretty long. Joe put on his white Ray-Ban sunglasses and tried to act casual.
"Don't wanna get noticed?" I asked.
"Yeah." Joe said, "It's just a little annoying sometimes, you know? I'd just love to go through one day without having to sign an autograph."
"I understand." I said, moving forward as the line moved ahead a few steps.
Maria and Hanna were looking at each other and then at us, with smug smiles.
After waiting in line for about 20 minutes and trying to stay cool under the hot sun of California, we finally got to the front of the line. When we were the next ones to be allowed on the ride, I got a little nervous.
"Uh, maybe you guys should go by yourselves, I'll wait at the exit..." I said worriedly.
"Hey," Maria said, "What's wrong?"
"Are you scared or something?" Hanna asked, "I'm not going on without you Case."
I smiled but shook my head.
"Casey there's nothing to be afraid of I swear." Joe said, grasping my hand tightly in his. "I won't let anything happen to you. Don't worry okay? You can close your eyes if you want."
I took a minute to think about it and by the time I had made up my mind, it was our turn.
"What the heck," I said, following Hanna and Maria over to the ride, "I'll go on too. It'll be fun."
Joe filed in next to me and we all got into our seats and got strapped in. I held onto the neck rest with one hand and Joe's hand with the other as we were lifted up and were laying on our stomachs in the Superman position.
"Ready?" Hanna, Maria, and Joe asked me.
I nodded and the ride took off.

Chapter 12: Dreams Do Come True :)

Starry's POV:
"Wow. Nick and Jenny," I said as I struggled to stand up straight again, "I'm so sorry about throwing up. I hope I didn't ruin the ride for you guys....."
"Are you crazy?" Nick asked me, helping me to balance, "I don't care if you threw up, I had a pretty awesome time on that ride with you anyway. Besides, none of the puke hit me."
I laughed at his goofy grin.
"It's fine Starry," Jenny said, always so understanding, "I still thought it was really fun."

Aly's POV:
After Kevin and I were finished with Goliath, my hands were like frozen to the handlebar things on the roller coaster. I couldn't move them. Kevin had to pry my hands off and we laughed about it afterwards.
"Thanks for going on the ride with me Kevin." I said, smiling, "I had fun."
"Yeah, me too." He said, "Maybe we should head back to the main entrance and wait for the others to meet us there at 4:30. It's already 4:23."
"Okay," I said, and he took my hand and I followed him, hoping he'd never let go.

Casey's POV:
I was laughing harder than I think I ever have, we all were, we'd had so much fun.
"That was awesome!" Hanna said, between laughs.
"Yeah, I'm so glad I went on it." I gasped, clutching my sides.
"Geez you guys, we're gonna blow a blood vessel," Joe said, though he was laughing too.
"Should we get back to the others?" Maria asked, "I think it's almost time to meet them at the front of the park."
We all nodded and hurried out of the ride entrance, down the pathway that led to it and wound our way through the park.
We all finally stopped laughing just as we reached the front of the park. Everyone except Kristin and Leslie were there.
“Hey guys!” Joe said, “Did you all have fun?”
“Heck yes!” Nick said.
“I did.” Starry grinned at Nick.
“Me too.” Aly said, holding Kevin’s hand.
“And me!” Jenny piped in.
Just as I was about to say something, Kris and Leslie arrived. Kristin looked agitated and Leslie was clutching her right hand.
“What happened?” Jenny asked.
“I hit my head extremely hard on the Mindbender as it was turning a corner. It wasn’t exactly what I’d call fun.” Kris said, indicating the spot on her head that she was rubbing.
“And I broke 2 nails!” Leslie squealed, “2 OF THEM!!!!!”
We laughed.
“But all in all,” They both said, “It was awesome.”
“Let’s eat!” Joe said, deepening his voice as he said this, making me giggle.

Starry’s POV:
Nick held out his arm to me and I took it, smiling at him. He led me over to the food area* and told me to sit down and that he’d be right back. I nodded.
He came back about 5 minutes later with a cherry slushie for me, my absolute favorite kind!
“How did you know that these were my favorites?” I asked, incredulously.
“I didn’t. I guessed.” Nick said, shrugging, “It’s my favorite too.”
He sat down next to me and we waited for the others to get their food.

Casey’s POV:
“What do you want Casey?” Joe asked me, “It’s on the house.”
“Oh no,” I said, shaking my head, “You don’t have to do that for me. I’ll pay.”
“But I want to do it for you.” Joe said, grinning, “So what do you want?”
“Surprise me.” I said, laughing at his sweetness.
He bowed like a butler and said in a thick British accent “One surprise for he beautiful girl, coming right up.” And, leaning down, he kissed my hand delicately.
I blushed and sat down at the table next to Starry and Nick.

Aly’s POV:
Kevin bought me a strawberry milkshake, in other words, my favorite liquid on this earth! I took it from him gratefully and went over to sit down next to Casey.
Literally seconds later, someone comes up behind me and puts his finger in my milkshake, then puts some of the milkshake that was on his finger on my nose: Kevin. I hear him laughing behind me and jump up, smiling evily.
“Oh it’s so on!” I said, chasing him around with my smoothie. “You’re going down!”

Casey’s POV:
Joe came back to the table moments later carrying a soft pretzel in one hand and a smoothie in the other.
“Thank you Joe.” I said, taking them from him and starting to eat the pretzel.
“You’re very welcome.” He said, grinning. “Can I have some?”
“Sure.” I said, handing the pretzel to him. He pulled off a bit that had not been bit off of yet and stuffed it in his mouth. After he was done chewing he said, “Thanks.”

15 minutes later….
“Okay guys!” Jenny said from the front of the table, “It’s time to start heading home! Let’s go!”
I started to get up, Joe held out his hand to help me. He led me back to the car I came in and said that he’d see me back home.

The whole ride back I couldn’t help wondering that there was more than just friendship between me and Joe, that was obvious. I came up with an idea of what to do when we got back home and relished the thought of it.

20 minutes later….
When we were finally home, I let Kris, Hanna, Leslie, Maria, and Aly get out first and then got out of the car. I ran to find Joe in the crowd of people. Pulling him out of the crowd, I did one of the craziest things I have ever done in my entire life: I kissed him. On the lips. For the first few seconds, he acted stunned, but after a few more seconds, he responded. Wrapping his arms around me and holding me closely and tightly to him. I never wanted this moment to end. It was perfect. It was forever. It was love.

Chapter 13: Love is in the Air.

Casey's POV:
As I broke apart from Joe, he smiled at me. Not just a 'hey-that-was-a-great-kiss' sort of smile, a genuinely happy smile. And I loved it.
"What was that for?" He asked, not able to stop smiling.
"I think you deserved it." I said, grinning back at him.
And I leaned in and kissed him again. He wrapped his arms around me, making me feel safe and content and I never wanted him to let go.
But then I heard Hanna and Kristin saying "Awww!" behind me and I broke apart from Joe and called "Shut up!" over my shoulder.
Then Leslie and Maria joined them in a chorus of "Aww's".
Before I could go over there and tell them to shut up myself, Joe pulled me back and said "Ignore them."
So I did and he kissed me until I felt like there was nobody on earth but us.

Starry's POV:
I watched as Casey and Joe finally came to their senses about each other and Kristin drew a heart in the air with her fingers.
"So...." Nick said, and I turned back to him. "Did you have fun?"
"Yeah." I said, smiling, "I did. Thanks for taking me."
"Good." Nick said, "I'm glad you had fun because I was really worried about today and what if something bad happened or we lost someone and it was-"
"Nick," I said, laughing as he stopped babbling, "Just shut up and kiss me already."
He looked confused, "Wha-?"
But before he could get it out of his mouth, I grabbed his hand, pulled him forward and kissed him. When we broke apart, he looked surprised, like he didn't realize what had happened. But after a few seconds, he pulled me back and kissed me. It was absolutely as perfect as anything could ever be.

Aly's POV:
I looked around at the couples all around where me and Kevin were standing.
"Wow." He said, his hands in the pockets of his jeans, "This is weird."
"I know. Everyone's paired off." I said, laughing a little. "I had a lot of fun today Kevin. Thanks for keeping up with me all day and riding the roller coaster with me."
"I had fun too." Kevin said, moving a little closer to me. "That roller coaster was awesome."
And then, I don't know how, but suddenly I was kissing him. I don't know how it happened really, but after he said that somehow, his arms were around me and he was kissing me back. I had never felt so at peace with the world.



A/N: Sorry that this is basically the kissing chapter, I just wanted for them to kiss each other soon, so I thought now was good.

Chapter 14: Good News and Bad News. :(

1 week later.....
Starry's POV:
"I can't believe that we all get to come to the recording studio with you guys!" I said, Casey and Aly walking behind me.
Nick draped his arm around my shoulder and shrugged, "I think you guys deserve to see what's going into our cd."
"Well, thanks for letting us come." Casey said, "I'm so excited!"
We all followed them up the walkway to the studio and Joe held the door open. I followed Joe and Casey down a long hallway with lots of doors going down it. Joe pushed open the one at the very end of the hall that said "Jonas Brothers" and we all hurried inside.

It was basically what you'd expect a recording studio to look like: lots of wires, sound equipment, microphones, stereos, everything.
"So this is where it all comes together..." Aly said, “All of the music that we love.”
“Yup.” Kevin said, “It doesn’t seem like it’s a lot of work, but it is.”
“Do we get to watch?” I asked, squeezing Nick’s hand a little in excitement.
“If you want to.” Joe said, “I mean, why would you want to watch us sing? We’re nothing special.”
We laughed.
“No seriously, can we watch?” Aly asked, interrupting our laughter.
“Of course you do!” Joe, Kevin, and Nick said in unison.

Casey’s POV:
So Aly, Starry, and I sat down in chairs while the guys all walked into the sound proof room.
We didn’t want to ruin anything so we tried hard not to touch any of the buttons that were in front of us.
Mike, the man who worked all of the sound equipment, told the boys to put their headphones on and then gave them a sign that said to start singing.
It was a song that none of us knew, seeing as it was from their new self-titled cd Jonas Brothers, but it still sounded amazing.

"If the heart is always searching,

I'll never make it on my own.
Dreams can't take the place of loving you,
There's gotta be a million reasons why it's true.

As Joe sung the song, halfway through, he winked at me. I blushed a little bit and smiled at him. Once they finished, Mike called “That’s a wrap!” and they stopped.
I grabed the microphone and said “That was great you guys! I loved it!”
They all said “Thank you!”
But just as they were about to start their next song, Starry’s cell phone rang.
“Oh, I’m sorry guys.” She said, rifling through her bag to find her phone, “I need to take this, it’s from my mom.”
“We’ll wait for you.” Nick said into his microphone.
She grinned and walked out of the door into the hallway.
10 minutes flew by and Starry hadn’t come back.
“Where is she?” Aly asked, “Phone calls don’t take that long.”
“Maybe she left.” Kevin said.
“Why would she leave without telling us?” I asked, “It’s not like her.”
Nick took off his headphones and came out of the sound proof room. “I’ll go find her, okay? I’ll be back in a few minutes.”

Nick’s POV:
I pushed open the door into the hallway and hurried out of it.
“Starry?” I called, “Starry?”
As I walked further down the hallway, I heard sniffling sounds. And when I turned the corner, I saw Starry. But she didn’t look like herself. She was sitting down on the ground, leaning back against the wall, sobbing into her hands.
I walked slowly over to her and knelt down beside her. “Starry? Are you okay?”
She looked up at me, surprised that I was in front of her. Her face was red and puffy from crying. “Oh….H-hi Nick. I d-didn’t see y-you there.”
“Is something wrong?” I asked, wiping her eyes gently.
“N-no. I’m f-fine.” She gasped, trying to pull herself together again.
“Starry, you can tell me anything. No matter what, you can trust me.” I said, brushing a strand of her brown hair out of her eyes.
She stared at me for a second, and then fell into my arms, sobbing into my shoulder.
“Nick! I don’t w-want this t-to happen to m-me! It’s n-not fair.” She said in between sobs.
“What don’t you want?” I asked, trying to calm her down. I put both my arms around her protectively and stroked her hair.
After a few more minutes of crying, she sat up and wiped her eyes.
“I’m sorry that you have to see me like this.” She said, “But my mom just called and she had bad news.”
“What?” I asked, not letting her out of my arms, but looking down at her, “What happened?”
She took a deep breath and said, “I’m moving to New York City.”

Chapter 15: I’ll Miss You

Nick’s POV:
I stared at her tear-stained face in astonishment.
“You’re……..moving?” I asked, speechless.
She nodded and then threw her arms around me, holding onto me for support.
“My mom got transferred there,” She said, “I have to go with her. I’m so sorry, because I don’t want to move. I just kinda have to.”
“When?” I asked, stroking her hair.
“2 days.” She replied.
“That’s the release of our new cd! I can’t believe you’re leaving on that exact date.” I said, as we broke apart. “I wanted yout o be there with me.”
“I wanted to be there too, Nick.” She said, “I really did.”
I shook my head, “You can’t be moving! Not so soon! Not after all of this.”
“But I am.” Starry said, “I’m so sorry Nick.”
I pulled her face forward gently and pressed my lips to hers. I wanted the kiss to mean something, it might be one of our last. She put her arms around me again and I didn’t stop kissing her.
When we finally broke apart, she smiled a watery smile at me.
“I’m going to miss you so much.” She whispered, her voice breaking as she said these words.
“I’ll miss you too.” I said, grasping her hand tightly. “I just don’t want this all to end so soon.”
“I know.” She replied, “Me neither.”
“You know I love you right?” I asked.
“No, I didn’t.” She said jokingly, “But I hope that you know that I love you so much.”
“When are you going to tell the others?” I asked, “They’re all wondering what happened.”
“I don’t know how I’m going to tell Casey, Aly, Hanna, Kris, Leslie, Maria, any of them. It’s too hard. I’ve known them all since I started school. And I’ve known Casey since I was born.” She said, “I don’t know how they’ll all take it.”
“I think you should tell them now. Get it over with.” I said, standing up and holding out my hand to help her up.
She took it and I pulled her up off the ground. “I think I will.”
So we walked, hand in hand, back down the hall and into the recording studio.
“Hey Starry!” Everyone said.
“Where were you?” Casey asked, “We’ve been worried.”
Starry sat down in her chair again and Joe and Kevin came out of the sound proof room.
“Why are your eyes so red?” Joe asked, “Have you been crying?”
“Yes.” She nodded, wiping her face, “I have. My mom just called and she had bad news.”
“What was it?” They all asked.
“Well….It turns out my mom got transferred to New York City through her job, and…..I have to go with her.” Starry said, slowly, “I’m moving.”
The room was silent for a few minutes, everyone’s mouths dropped open in shock. Casey put her hand over her mouth as tears started to flow down her cheeks.
“Casey,” Starry said, standing up and walking over to hug her best friend. “Please don’t cry. Please.”
“I can’t believe it.” Aly said, a tear trickling down her face, “You’re leaving us?”
Starry nodded, “I’m sorry guys. I don’t want to move. I love California, I love where I live, and I love you guys so much. But I have to.”
Casey looked at Starry and in that moment, Starry began to cry too.

Casey’s POV:
I started to sob into Starry’s shoulder as she continued to hug me.
“But you c-can’t be m-moving Star.” I choked out, “You’re my b-best f-friend.”
“I know Case.” She said, trying to calm her down. “I’m going to miss you.”
“I’m g-going to miss y-you so much.” I gasped.
Aly came over and joined our big hug. She had tears running down her face too.
“How are you going to tell everyone else?” She asked. “Kristin, Hanna, Maria, and Leslie?”
“I’ll tell them later.” Starry said. “I wanted to tell you guys first though.”
“I don’t want you to go Starry!” I said, trying to get a grip on myself, “How am I going to survive the rest of my life without my best friend? We’ve been BFF since we were 2 days old!”
“I know Case.” She said, “I’m sorry.”
“Don’t say that.” I said, regaining control of myself, “It’s not your fault. But I’m still going to miss you so much.”
“I’m going to miss you too hun.” She said, “You’ve been the best friend I could ask for. You too Aly.”
Aly smiled at her.
“I love you Starry.” I said.
“I love you too Starry.” Aly said.
“I love you both.” She said.
“I love ya Starry.” Nick said, kissing her.
“Us too.” Joe said, “We’ll miss you.”

Chapter 16: Goodbye.

The next day…..
Starry’s POV:
When I got home from Nick’s place today, I said goodbye, knowing it was our last day together.
“So, I hope I see you tomorrow before I go.” I said, hugging him, “I don’t want to leave without seeing you.”
“Me neither.” He said, kissing me lightly, “I’m going to miss you a lot.”
“But, this isn’t the real end.” I said, “I mean, I can always visit you. I can talk to you on the phone, e-mail you.”
“Yeah.” He said, but before he could say anything more, my mom called me from inside the house.
“Starry! Get in here now! We have to finish packing!”
I groaned, not wanting to leave Nick. “Well, I guess I have to go.”
“I guess you do.” Nick said, “I’ll see you then?”
I nodded, and stood on my toes to kiss him again, “I love you.”
“I love you too.” He said as I opened my door slowly, “Bye!”
“Bye!” I waved as he walked off down my driveway……

Tomorrow……
Still Starry’s POV:
I stood there in the middle of the airport with my bags beside me on the floor. I had my cell phone out and was trying to reach Nick.
I got the answering machine again. “Um…Hey Nick, it’s me….again.” I said, “I’m at the airport, just wanted you to know because my plane’s leaving in 15 minutes. So, that’s it. Bye.”
Just as I hung up, I heard someone shout, “Starry!”
When I turned I saw all of my friends running towards me through the crowd. Casey got to me first and hugged me tightly.
“Casey, we want to hug her too.” Maria said.
“Sorry.” Casey replied, letting go of me, I could see tears glistening on her cheeks.
“I’m gonna miss you guys so much.” I said, “I can’t believe I’m moving.”
Kristin then came over and hugged me, then Hanna, then Aly, then Maria, and then Leslie.
“Where’s Nick?” Leslie asked.
“I don’t know. He hasn’t answered his phone.” I said, nervously, “I’ve called like 6 times now.”
“He’s probably just busy.” Kristin assured me, “You know, with Jonas Brothers stuff.”
I nodded and sat down in a nearby chair, my head propped up by my arm.

Nick’s POV:
After I got back to the hotel, I saw my cell phone sitting on the desktop by my bed.
“Never mind guys.” I called to Joe and Kevin, “I found it.”
“Good.” Joe said, “Has anyone called?”
“I dunno.” I said, flipping it open and checking unread messages. I listened to the newest one:
“Um…Hey Nick, it’s me….again. I’m at the airport, just wanted you to know because my plane’s leaving in 15 minutes. So, that’s it. Bye.”
My mouth fell open. I had 15 minutes until the girl I loved left for New York!
“Oh my God.” I said, “Guys, can you help me? I need to get to the airport now!”
“What happened?” Kevin asked.
“Starry’s leaving in 15 minutes.” I said, “I have to see her off!”
We all ran downstairs and jumped into Kevin’s car.

Starry’s POV:
I looked around, and when I didn’t see Nick I checked my watch. It was 5 minutes until I left.
“He’ll be here.” Hanna said, putting an arm around my shoulder, “I know he wouldn’t miss this.”
I nodded even though I was doubting it now. I put my head on Casey’s shoulders and sighed.
“STARRY!” I heard a voice yell from a distance.
I sat up, recognizing that voice. I waved my arms so Nick could see where we all were.
I saw him running through the crowd of people quickly and when he got to me he stopped. I stared at him for a few seconds and then threw my arms around him. He put his arms around me as well and we rocked back and forth as we hugged.
When we broke apart, I had tears welling up in my eyes.
“So this is it?” He asked, his voice braking. “This is goodbye?”
“I guess so.” I said, “I’m gonna miss you so much” My voice broke as I said these words and I started to sob.
He put his arms around me again, stroking my hair, trying to calm me down.
“Shhh.” He said softly as he held me in his arms, “It’s alright. Don’t worry, okay? I’ll come and see you whenever I can.”
I nodded and choked out the words, “I love you.”
“I love you too.” He said.
Then someone, my mom, pulled on my arm and said “It’s time to go Starry.”
I pushed her away from myself, holding onto Nick. I knew I was acting childish but I wasn’t leaving yet.
“Sweetie, the plane leaves in 1 minute.” My mom said, pulling my arm again. “We have to go.”
I looked at her, my cheeks streaked with tears, and nodded. I walked over and hugged each of my friends.
“Bye guys.” I said, “I’ll miss you.”
“Be sure t-to write to u-us.” Casey said, “And I’ll call you everyday.”
“Yeah, me too.” Aly said.
“Me three.” Hanna said.
“Me four.” Leslie said.
“Me five!” Maria said.
I laughed and hugged all of them in a big group hug.
Then my mom pulled me away and started dragging me away from everyone. Nick ran over and pulled me away to kiss me. This was one kiss that surpassed every other one. Nick had never kissed e so passionately before. I melted in his arms and kissed him back.
Then I heard my mom squealing, “C’MON STARRY WE HAVE 30 SECONDS TO GET ON THE DAMN PLANE!”
I broke away from Nick, “I’ll keep in touch, okay?” I asked, quickly.
“Okay.” Nick said as I was pulled away from him by my mother, my hand still in his.
“I love you!” I called as my hand slipped out of his.

Nick’s POV:
“I love you too!” I yelled over the crowd, trying to see where she was.
I saw her running into the departing doors (whatever you call them) and she didn’t look back.

Chapter 17: New Place.

Starry’s POV:
I stared out of the plane window at the airport. When we took off, I started to cry. I couldn’t believe that I was flying away from all of my friends and the guy I loved. I put my hand to the window, the cool glass felt calming against my skin. Soon, it started to rain, hard. I stared out of the window and ran my finger across it.
“I love you Nick.” I whispered, knowing he couldn’t hear me.
Afterwards, I got tired. So I reclined my chair and fell asleep.

5 hours later…
I was woken up by my mom, who told me it was time to get off the plane. We walked off the plane, picked up our luggage, and drove to our new house.
I leaned my head onto the window of the backseat. I hope Nick doesn’t forget me, I thought to myself quietly.
After a few minutes, we pulled into a small driveway. I rolled my window down and looked at our new house. It was pretty big, and it was painted a light blue color. My mom nudged my shoulder and we got out of the car.
“THIS is New York?” I asked, confused. “I thought New York was a crime city.”
“This isn’t that part of New York.” My mom replied, handing me my duffel bag. “We’re a few minutes away from the city.”
I shrugged and trudged up the pathway to the front door. My mom tossed me the key and I slowly walked inside.
It was your average neighborhood home. There was a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, and stairs leading to the second floor. I hurried up the steps and pushed open the first door on my right. It was a huge room, bigger than my old one, and I immediately knew that it would be my room.
“Mom! I found my room!” I shouted, dumping my stuff onto the bed.
“Good!” She called back, “How do you like the house?”
“It’s….nice.” I yelled, flopping onto my bed.
“But it’s nothing like our old house.” I said to myself.
After we were settled in, I put up my very favorite poster that I had: My Nick Jonas poster. I decided that it should go right above my bed.

Chapter 18: Missing You.

Starry’s POV:
The next day, I was in my room trying to get all of my stuff unpacked when the doorbell rang. I yelled out “I’ll get it!” and ran downstairs.
When I opened the door, there was a UPS man holding a package.
“Delivery for Starry Johnson.” He said.
“Oh, thank you.” I said, taking the package from him, “Um, who’s it from?”
“I don’t know.” The man winked a me, “Look inside.”
“Okay! Thanks again!” I said, closing the door and running up to my room.
I hurried to open the box up and when I saw what was inside I screamed.
“IT’S FROM NICK!” I squealed, jumping up and down excitedly.
I sat down on my bed and picked up a folded piece of paper with Nick’s handwriting on it.
It said:

Dear Starry,
Wow, I can’t believe you’re gone. It’s been really different around here without you, not as fun. We all miss you so much, some of us more than others (wink wink). Our new cd just came out and I really wish you could’ve been at the album party. But I sent you a copy, signed by all of us.
I miss and love you and I hope to see you again soon.

Love,
Nick

P.S: I wrote a new song while you were gone and it’s on the cd. It’s dedicated to you and it’s #5 on the cd.

I put the letter down and curiously dug into the package. I pulled out a small cd with all the boys on it and “Jonas Brothers” on the front in big letters.
“This is it!” I gasped, rushing over to my cd player and putting it in. I looked on the back and saw that #5 was a song called “Hello Beautiful”. I skipped forward to the track, sat down next to the stereo, and leaned against my bed, listening intently.
And then Nick’s perfect voice issued out of the stereo and I listened as he sang:

I hear it's wonderful in New York City
I've been missing you

“I love you too Nick.” I whispered, as tears rolled down my cheek.

Chapter 19: Up on the Rooftop.

Casey’s POV:
Joe came by my house around 2:00 and we immediately ran upstairs to my room. I opened my window and Joe held my hand so I wouldn’t fall as I climbed out onto the branch of the tree outside my window. Then he followed me onto the branch and we climbed up to my roof and sat on the shingles together.
“How’s Nick?” I asked.
“Not any better than he was.” Joe replied, sadly, “He still won’t talk to anyone, and he spends hours out on the balcony staring out into space. It’s like he’s lost without her.”
I placed my hand on top of his and he put my hand in his.
“I miss her.” I said, resting my head on Joe’s shoulder. “I think about her everyday.”
He nodded. “Do you like the cd?” He asked.
“Uh-huh.” I said, “It’s great. You all sound really good.”
“What’s your favorite song off of it?” He asked, a smile playing across his face.
“Hmm…” I said, thinking, “I like ‘When You Look Me In The Eyes’ and ‘Inseperable’ the best I think.”
He laughed.
“What’s so funny?” I asked, nudging him playfully.
“It’s just ironic that you’d like that song best.” He said.
“Why?”
“Because I wrote it for you.” He replied, smiling.
I gasped. “You did?”
He nodded and smiled even bigger than before.
“Joe, you may be the most wonderful person on the earth.” I said, letting him take out his arms around me tightly and leaning into him. I could hear his heartbeat right next to my ear.
“No,” He said, “I’m the second best.”
I giggled and he lay back on the shingles. I lay down next to him while he leaned in close to me and sang softly into my ear:

I turned my head to face him, his face was just inches away from mine. I whispered, “I love you.”
He said, “Not as much as I love you.”
Then I leaned in a bit and pressed my lips to his. I loved how warm he felt, all the time. He cupped my face in his hands and kissed me again, and again, and again.
When we stopped to take a breather, I looked up at the sky, and saw a shooting star.
“Make a wish!” I gasped, closing my eyes.
“What do you wish for?” I asked.
“I don’t wish for anything. I already have the perfect life, perfect house, perfect girl. What more do I need?”
