DECEMBER 14th, 2005

i felt a tear run down my cheek while i packed my bags to leave for california.
no dont cry, miley, dont cry. i heard myself say. you wanted this, youre hannah montana! come on, you should be happy!
well i sorta wasnt. i was leaving the school i had been at for eight years, all of my gazillions of friends. including the 4 best ones she had: Tori, Leslie, and Ashley. I looked out the window and saw three moving trucks, just sitting there, waiting for me to pile in and leave what i had for fourteen years. but i finally did it. i finally reached my dream...so i was excited that i was now an actress...well i guess enough is enough. because all my bags are packed, and thats the last part of luggage we had to load. Ashley, Tori, and Leslie were outside, having tears in their eyes, but you could easily see they were trying to hold them back.
I walked slowly outside, and then looked at them. We silenced. Then I suddenly dropped my bags and ran over to them, crying. I hugged Leslie and Tori hard and long. Then I came to Ashley, my best friend since kindergarten. I hugged her long and tight. "Youre my best friend" she whispered. "You too" I said, with the tears rolling rapidly down my face.
"Mile, time to go" My dad said, getting in the Suburban. You could see the sadness my whole family had. I mean, this was a big sacrifice for all of them, and me. "Coming!" I said. "Ashley...I want you to have this" I took off my lucky bracelet that said "M-I-L-E-Y" and put it on her wrist. She smiled, and sniffed. I said goodbye to all of them one more time, and walked to the car with my bags. I took one last look at my friends and waved. And that was the last time I would see them for a long time, I knew.

The trip was long and boring. Driving to the airport, getting on the plane, blah blah blah. But finally, at about, say 3 in the afternoon, I reached my home. I smiled...it seemed...homely. "Hey, Mile, were gonna take a tour of the house" my mom said. "Okay mom" I said smiling. My whole family headed into the house, with Noah squealing with joy about how big the house was. Then I got hit a with a football and fell to the ground. Grrrreeeaattt.
I rubbed my head and got up. And then some curly head boy was all in my face.
"Sorry" he sorta whispered, looking around. You could tell he was embarrassed. His cheeks turned bright red. You could tell I wasnt happy.
"im okay, thanks" i said with sort of a harsh tone. He kind of was taken back. Yeeeaah.
"Well, if you wanna play football with us, you can" he said. Damn, this boy sounded like he was on helium or something. What Im trying to say is that his voice was really high pitched. "Thanks, but no thanks" I said again with a sort of harsh tone and a stern look on my face. He looked a little hurt, but kept on talking to me. "Im Nick Jonas, of the Jonas brothers, the youngest one, Im fourteen...we're a-a starting band with me and my brothers...who- are you?" he asked, smiling. "Im Miley Cyrus...fourteen years old too...Im gonna star in the series Hannah Montana" I said...why was he asking me all these questions? "Well, thats great...me and my brothers...we're-we're a singing band" Nick said. "Isnt that what a band is?" I asked. I dont know why I was being so rude to him. Maybe it was the football..."Well where do you live?" Nick asked, smiling.
Now he was just getting personal.
"Right here" I said, softening up, smiling slightly.
"Great!" he said, with joy. "I mean...uhm...thats...cool." he said looking back. "Hey, do you have a cell phone?" he asked me, pulling out his really nice cell phone. "Yeah, do you want my number?" I asked, unsure of what was going on. "Yeah" he looked at me like I was soo stupid. I told him my number and he gave me his number "just in case I was wondering". Then my older brother Trace came out here, and saw me with a boy. Crap Crap Crap. I thought. But not for me, but for Nick, because I know my brother would get sort of protective...like he always is..."Hey, Im Trace, Mileys older brother..." Trace said suspiciously. YES! Brother comes to save little sister Miley from annoying boy Nick Jonas. Me and Nick exchanged glances and Nick finally broke the silence and said, "You know what, nice meeting you Miley, but I gotta go...its...yeah bye" he said, walking away. Then my whole family got our bags and unpacked to live in California for the rest of our lives.
What a great first day. I thought sarcastically in my mind

DECEMBER 15th, 2005

I was talking to my friend Audrey on the phone, the one I didn’t get to say goodbye too, even though she was one of my best friends. Then someone called me on the other line. Again.
Ever since I moved to California. Or maybe I’m just paranoid from meeting that boy Nick yesterday. I mean, I don’t know why I didn’t like him so much. But he was just annoying. And like obsessed because he has called my cell phone exactly 23 times today, just to “say hi”
“Hey, Audrey, Ill call you back, I got another call on the line…okay…bye” I said, hanging up the phone. Then I checked the caller id. Oh God.
No. No. No.
It was HIM
Nicholas.
I thought about what to do while my phone rang to “First Date” by Blink 182.
But being nice and all, I answered the phone. “Hello?” I said in an annoyed tone. He cleared his throat without saying anything. My mom gave me that “be nice” look. “I mean…hello?” I said in a higher and a fake tone. “Hey, Miley, I was w-wondering…if-if you wanted…t-to come over to my house…to have dinner w-with my fa-family…with both of our families…and your brother Trace” he said nervously. Well at least he didn’t forget about Trace. Well, I wanted to call Audrey back…and wanted to just chill at home…but I guess it wouldn’t hurt…still being nice and everything. “Lemme ask my parents” I said, sorta rolling my eyes. I could feel him grinning. I slammed the phone down and went to my dad, who was watching TV. “Dad? I asked carelessly. “Yeah, Mile?” he said, his eyes glued to the screen. “Nick Jonas wants me to have dinner with his family” Miley said. “He wants US to go” I said. “Okay…that’s fine” my dad said, hypnotized to the TV. I went and picked the phone back up sweetly and said “What time?”
“Uhmm…come around 7pm” Nick said. “Bye!” he said eagerly.
This is gonna be great.

So my family got ready and we headed over to the Jonas household. We rang the doorbell and heard a little boy start screaming. He opened the door and screamed in my face…then starting running around like an idiot up and down the stairs. Then an older boy with spiky hair ran down the stairs and picked up the little boy and went back up the stairs. Then I didn’t see the little boy and the boy with spiky hair walked down the stairs. Then, another older guy with spiky hair was combing his hair. Then I heard beating on the door. That mustve been the little boy.
Then Nick came. You could clearly see he was embarrassed by his brothers. He looked away. “Hi” he said. “Hi” I said, just waving. Then his mom came. “Hi, Im Mrs. Jonas” she said with a friendly smile. “And you must be Miley” she said, pointing me. I just nodded. Mrs. Jonas started greeting my other family members when a door busted down and the little boy ran around like a hooligan.
“That’s…Frankie” Nick said. “He has a sort of issue…he forgot to take his meds today” Nick said, nodding. I giggled a little on how foolish Frankie was acting. “This is…Joe” he looked at the boy with the spiky hair who took Frankie up the stairs. Joe waved like a dork. “Then this is Kevin” Nick said, now looking at the boy who was combing his hair. Kevin reached out his hand and I shook it. “Now, shall we eat?” Mrs. Jonas asked, still having that smile plastered on her face.
We all sat down. I could smell the delicious steak. Maybe I will like this family.
Joe, Frankie, and Kevin were all sitting together. Mrs. Jonas sat by Kevin. Daddy and Mommy sat together by Mrs. Jonas. Noah, Brandi, Trace, and Braison all sat by each other. Then it was me, all eating my good steak and everything, when Nick pulled up a chair by me.
Gross.
He starting eating. He acted like I had known him his whole life, just plopping down a chair by me. He sorta just smiled at me, like a little smirk.
No, not gross, DISGUSTING.
My whole family and Mrs. Jonas and Frankie were gabbing, not paying attention to anything we did, so Joe had the chance to be immature and say:
“Niiickkk, is that your -” Joe asked, with a toothy grin on his face…Kevin hit him, with him being so immature. But before he could completely answer, I knew what he was gonna say and I said “no” blankly. The whole rest of the dinner, Nick was quiet, while I bonded with Joe and Kevin for the rest of the dinner. We finally ate all of our dinner. My mom offered Mrs. Jonas to clean dishes with her, but she said it was okay. So we finally left and said our goodbye. Nick just slightly waved at me and put his hands in his pockets.
I think I hurt him.

I went to my dressing room at the HM set. Today was the first day to film the very first episode. Id been excited about this for months, and the day finally came. We filmed the first scene in about half an hour, and we had a ten minute break when I could text all my friends about how thrilling this was.
But yeah, my texting was pretty occupied-
Vibrate. Vibrate. Vibrate
My thoughts stopped as I stared at the phone for about 2 minutes.
There goes my phone, screaming the new text message just recieved.
"New Message From: Nick"
Grreeeaaat. Again. I am fed up with this boy. Stalkerrr alert.
I opened the message and it read:
I am there
What?
I texted back:
wat?
In 3 minutes, a reply came back
i am wtchng ur show
Its not on tv yet
i am in da audience
God, what a stalker. Why is he at my episode? He is ruining everything!
I stormed out the door when Mike told me to get back onstage. We were doing the scene where Lilly was mad at me because I didnt tell her I was Hannah Montana. I sat on the chair and we all got into places. Emily and I giggled and got all our laughs out before we did our scene. I loved Emily to death from the first day of filming, it was hard for us when we had to say mean stuff to each other.
Emily was just about to say her line when someone whispered "Psst! Mileyyy!" I turned to the audience and scanned for faces. Then I saw Nick, waving at me. Joe and Kevin were there too. Joe chuckled a little and Kevin tried to keep a straight face.
I told you he was ruining everything. I felt steam coming out of my ears...
"Who is that?" Emily asked with a stern tone.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" I suddenly yelled. "TAKE HIM OUT! god." I pointed to Nick. Nick pointed to himself and security snapped at him and ushered him out. Joe and Kevin had to leave to drive him home. After he left, I couldnt control myself. I started screaming random things, Emily tried to calm me down, the directors were getting me water. Then I just sat down and starting crying. I was truly stressed out.

I spent New Year with my wonderful family and Ive been filming HM, being busy with all that crap, but I havent heard from Nick since then. He hasnt called, texted, seen me, come to my door, hit me with a football, anything, and Im getting worried. I was thinking they were recording for their record, but then I remembered they started recording for it on Feb. 2nd. Then I thought he died. No thats crazy. Maybe Im going crazy. And I kinda missed the way he called and texted and stuff. So I texted him...NO YOU HAVE THE TOTALLY WRONG IDEA I DO NOT LIKE HIM!

I woke up and saw Nick and a girl with black, sort of curly hair. She was about 5'4, and looked almost exactly like Vanessa Hudgens, but a younger version. I stared and blinked at them, and they just smiled. "Hey, Miley" Nick said. "Remember meeeeeeeeee?" he asked. "Yeah, of course, Nick" I said, dizzy and confused. "Remember meeeeeeeee?" his girlfriend asked. "I dont...know you." I said, rubbing my head from the fall. "You had your chance" Nick said sharply, snapping at me. "Why are you talking to me like that Nick?" I asked. "Thats not you". "Iiimm nottt whoo you thinkkk I ammm" Nick said in a tone that scared the living crap out of me. "Then who are you, Nick, who are you?" I screamed, bursting into tears. "Im myyyy girllsss propertyyy" Nick said. I screamed once again. "This is my girlfriend -" he suddenly slapped me. I got slapped again. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I screamed, choking through my tears. "I HAVE FEELINGS!" I screamed once again. He slapped me once again. WTF was he doing? Then I blinked once again and saw my Mom in front of me. She gave me the weirdest stare and started wiping the tears of my face. "What were you doing?" she said in a sweet tone. "What do you mean what was I doing? I was talking to Nick!" I yelled. My mom shushed me down. "No, honey, you were on the ground rolling around, and screaming...I guess you had a nightmare...Ill go get you some tissues" she said and walked away.
It was a dream.
God, maybe Im delusional.

"hello?" I answered in a sad tone.
"You okay?" Ashley asked in a sad tone. "...Oh...Im sorry...about that...(then whispers)Nicholas Jonas(end of whisper)" "Yeah, Im alright..." I said. What a lie. "Hey, you wanna head up to McDonalds?" Ashley asked, in a nice tone. You could feel her smile on the phone."Sure, Ill get some clothes on, and get ready" I said, with a smile. Ashley always brightened me, even on my darkest days.
"Okay, Ill head over there" Ashley said with a smile, and hung up.

"So hows the show been doing, with filming and all that?" Ashley asked in her car, putting on lipstick. She was driving, and I was in the front seat. "Good, it actually goes ON TV March 26th, Im pretty excited" I said with a smile. "Good for you!" Ashley said, still smiling. She was such a mother to me. "Yeah, that Nick, forget about him, what a man-b-tch"

We got to McDonalds, and saw a swarm of people. "I guess we came on a bad day..." Ashley said with a little pout. "Dont worry, we can prolly get a seat" I said comforting her. Ashley couldnt go on without her daily dose of MickeyDs. Its just the way she was.
Anyways, the swarm was right there, like crowding around one table, like hysterical gnats surrounding a certain location. Then I heard someone shout "My name is Mandy!" I rolled my eyes and thought: Wow, I cant believe who would make an excuse like that just to talk to the...
My eyes suddenly widened. Thoughts raced through my head. The last thought stopped in my head and screamed "JONAS BROTHERS!" COME ON PEOPLE! THEYVE ONLY RELEASED ONE FREAKIN SINGLE? THEY MIGHT AS WELL JUST BE ONE HIT WONDERS! I turned to Ashley with wide eyes "Ashley can we go to the McDonalds down the street to the-" suddenly someone cut me off.
"Miley!" Joe yelled to me.
I blinked. and slowly turned around to see Joe waving at me, motioning for me to come over there. "Dont worry, go, Ill order" Ashley said, and nudged me over there, while walking away. The McDonalds man ushered all the other fans to be away from the Jonas Brothers, and got them all out the door, Joe nodded to say that it was okay for me to sit there, I sat down and felt...lonely. All 3 of the Jonas guys had there arms around girls. The girl Joe had his arm around said "Hey, youre the girl who plays Hannah Montana, right? Yeah, Ive seen those commercials theyre playing, the show looks really good" she said smiling. "Thanks" I said. That actually felt nice to know. "Oh, Im Casey" she said. "Casey, I like that name" I said. "Thanks, Im Joes girlfriend, and thats Adri, Kevins girlfriend, and thats -" she pointed to Nicks girlfriend, but before she could say anything, I said "Oh, I know who that is" with a little sweet smile. Casey just put her arm down and smiled back. "No you dont. Her name is Lisa" Nick said sharply. She was pretty, I gave her that, but just ugh. "Maybe I did know her name. Its not like you know everything about me, oh wait, maybe you do, since you text me and do all that crap 24\7" I said. Lisa did a little gasp. "Yeah, thats right" I said, nodding. "Honeyy, what is she taaalkingg aboutttt?" Lisa said in a whiny voice. Oh no, it was the whiny ones. Ughhh.
"I never did anything like that?! Maybe you were stalking me." Nick said. The whole other crowd of Kevin, Adri, Joe, and Casey were just watching intently, not bothering in to jump in and save anyone at any moment, but Adri slightly and shyly said "Do they have an issue?" and Kevin just shrugged and listened on. "Shes just one of those stupid actresses, so overdramatic" Nick mumbled to Lisa. I couldnt hear him but Lisa giggled. "Whatd he say?" I asked. I was just about off the line with this boy. "He said youre a stupid, overdramatic actress" Lisa said with a smile. She loved this, because she just hated me. Maybe Nick talked to her about me. Greaat. More negative comment.
Nick laughed a little and looked away.
This wasnt the same boy I met a month ago.
It couldnt be. It just couldnt
Because he was NICE to me. He was SWEET. He CARED. He cared more for other people than HIMSELF.
This new Nick was the total opposite
"Wow, your new girlfriend is so smart, so smart she may just be related to Galileo" I said with a small smile. "Miley, youre overreacting, it was just a joke" Nick said with a big grin on his face. "No, it wasnt a joke" I said, trying to hold the tears back, doing all I could to hold them back. They wouldnt see me cry. My voice was cracking from the tears I was throwing back into my throat. I glared at Joes root beer and picked it up "If that was such a joke, then I hope you take this as one very fabulous joke" I said. I threw off the lid and dumped the full drink of root beer all over Nick. "Hope you like root beer, man b-tch" I put the lid back on and put the drink in Joes arms while and Ashley had our bags of food. I grabbed her hand and took her to the door "Lets go, Ashley" I said, walking out the door, wiping a tear from my eye

I got home at five after Ashley dropped me off. Oh there he was. The idiot beat me home...with his STOOPID brothers with thier STOOPID girlfriends. Well actually their girlfriends were cool. Nevermind. Except Nick's whiny-ass girlfriend, Lisa. Ughh. I didnt even know her and I already knew it was gonna be girl war between us. I just knew it by the way she was so clingy by Nick and the look in her eyes. Yes that Lisa was evil, but pretty. I snuck behind a bush by the house they were by, a little farther away from where they were. I heard Nick talking to Casey ``Come on, can we please just invite her, she'll totally love Lisa, they just kind of got off to a rough start`` Nick said. I guess they were talking about me. Lisa was walking up to them while they were talking.
Eavesdropper
``Well, Nick, I really dont think Miley ``prefers`` Lis-`` Casey said, but then got cut off by little miss whiny baby. ``Hey, can I talk to Casey for a second, Nick?`` she said, with a little fake smile. ``Yeah, sure`` he said, walking away uncomfortably. Lisa smiled and waved a little bit. Then she looked at Nick to see if he wasnt looking then pushed Casey really close to the bush. And I was behind the bush. So I could hear everything the little whiny butt was up to. Lisa got the meanest look on her face when she looked at Casey ``Listen, your little b-tchy mouth is like money, the more you use it, the more youre gonna be and debt and have to pay up`` Lisa said. ``The little wh-re we saw a McDonalds will like me, and if you want my family to still pay for your family to have a roof over your head, you better shut up. Got it?`` Lisa said. Casey was in tears, a tear rolled down her cheek and she gulped. ``Got it`` Casey said. Adri walked up to Lisa and joined in on the action. ``Hey, can you please...uhm...STOP?!`` she said. ``Dont tell me what to do, you little Kevin-lover. I can break you and Kevin up like a branch can snap`` Lisa replied sharply. Adri then got all quiet, and Casey and Adri just both sat down. Lisa waved smiling like she had done nothing at all.

This had to be stopped.
I couldnt help myself. She was controlling those girls by money and just mean girl power.
But I was a natural born leader, unlike them (no offense). And I stood up for people when I had a chance. So I got up out the bush and yelled ``Hey!``
She turned around sharply, making the worst, meanest, face possibly ever known to make.
I think I just made the biggest mistake.
