OMG i can't stand proofs ughh. but i think i can help ya with this one.

so heres the proof, how i think it goes:
2. <1 and <2 are supplementary, <5 and <6 are supplementary-linear pair
3. <2 and <5 are congruent, <1 and <6 are congruent-corresponding angles postulate
4. <1 and <5 are supplementary-transitive property

i haven't done a proof with those relationships for a bit, so it might be a little off, but thats as close as i can remember.

thankss. do you know for the last one <1 = <5 could i use the theorem If 2 angles are supp. to the same angle, then they are congruent?

Yes, thats a good enough reason

superstarrmiley92 is definetly good at this stuff. haha, seriously though.
im in honors geometry and i DESPISE proofs...we just had a HUGE test on monday...it was 12 pages! and the whole test was 12 proofs! really really hard..i did okay though, 86%.

they're a linear pair. and since the transversal goes through both then they are suplementry

Or the corresponding angle to <1 is sup. to <5
