First of all, what contest? Second, it's pretty good ;) Just don't say these things: "How this book affected me? Are you wondering how this book affected me?" or "I am still wondering are you going to read this letter? Even though you have five million fans who are sending you letters everyday, but I still hope you will read mine. Even though I am not a special person or a lucky person, but I hope you read this and think this letter is amazing. I know you don't have time at all to read this little person's letter or even read the tittle or even the name but still thanks for at least trying to read this. I wish I can have a lot fans sending me a letter each day saying how amazing my books are or at least one little fan." Because it makes you seem like you're just rambling on and on and adding things that don't need to be there ;) I know I basically eliminated the last paragraph, but it doesn't sound sophisticated ;)

its for skool thing contest. =]]
and i have to, thats what she said
put ???'s in each paragraph.
ok i made a new paragraph now i have 3 instead of 4.
Overall how this book affected or changed me? Well while I finished this book, it really surprised me like "wow"! I became more good person in inside, I treated people really good, I didn't realized that but that's true. I know you are laughing about that, and thinking that's not true, but it is true. I really care about people now, and what they do even though it's not my business but I really care what they do and how they act. This book showed me how you should act about stuff and you should be prepared before something happens, before you don't know what to do. It also showed me you should be your self and believe in your self, but most of all just respect your self and to others. I can't believe your reading this letter, even though you have millions and millions of fan, who are sending you a letter every day. I can picture how the mailman knocking your door ever day, and your like " Stop knocking my door! I know the letters are from my amazing fans, but just leave them there." Once again thank you for reading my letter or at least thank you for trying.
what do u think about now??

here what it looks like:
Dear Kate DiCamillo,
Thank you for writing Because of Winn-Dixie. I realized that life is amazing if you just give it a try. I learned a lot in just this one tiny little book, like people say don't judge the book by its cover. At first I thought this book is one of those horrible book that you will quit reading it, sorry about that, but I was totally wrong. This book made me feel how life is all about, and how you will feel when you don't have no friend or anyone to talk to. By the way at first I realized that animals are just like a pen you use than you throw away, but than I realized that they can really make you happy and they can feel it when your sad or happy, or even lonely, they can even understand what you are talking about. Also people, animal, or anything in this universe will be nice to you if you are nice to them, if you are mean to them of course they will be mean to you. What will you expect? This book thought me a lot. Treat people like you want to be treated it, and so on. All the stuff that I learned a long time ago, I realized what it meant in this book.
Light. Camera. Action. How this book affected me? Are you wondering how this book affected me? Well it affected with a lot of things, for example don't judge people of how they look because looks doesn't really matters, inside of you does and how you act and treat people that really matters. Do you want a friend who is a model, but she's so rude to you and acts like she's a two years old, of course you don't. So this book thought me about that, even though I knew that before I read this book, but I learned how it really hurts people's feelings. You can't really see how it hurts, but in inside it does hurt, a lot. I can really connect with the character "Opeal", because I really like listening to old stories, also I really like being nice to people and helping others. Even though if other people hate them, and I really do not know why they hate them? but I really like to treat them well, and if they are old or something I just like to treat them like I wanted to be treated. So that's why I can really connect with "Opeal", we have a lot in common.

Dear Kate DiCamillo,
Thank you for writing Because of Winn-Dixie. I realized that life is amazing if you just give it a try. I learned a lot in this one book, such as a lot of people say don't judge a book by its cover. At first I thought this book is one of those horrible books that you will stop reading after a few chapters, and I'm sorry about that, but I realized I was totally wrong. This book made me think about what life is all about, and how you will feel when you don't have any friends or anyone to talk to.
At first, I realized that animals are just like a pen: you use them, and then you throw them away. But then I realized that they can really make you happy and they can feel it when you're sad or happy, or even lonely, and they can even understand what you are talking about sometimes. I also realized that people, animals, or anything in this universe will be nice to you if you are nice to them. If you are mean to them, of course they will be mean to you. This book taught me a lot, such as treat people like you want to be treated it, and so on. All of the things I learned a long time ago have truly been elaborated on in this book.
Lights. Camera. Action. This book affected me in many different ways. For example, don't judge people simply on how they look because looks don't matter. It's what's inside of you and how you act and treat people that really matter. You can't really see how being wrongly judged hurts, but on the inside it really does hurt a lot.
I can really connect with the character Opeal, because I really like listening to old stories. I also really like being nice to people and helping others, especially those who do not have many friends. I can never understand why some people are so hated, but I really like to treat them well. I try to treat others like I wanted to be treated, just as Opeal does. I think we have a lot in common.
I believe I somehow changed after reading this book. When I finished the book, I think I became a better person inside. I think i started to treat people even better, even if I didn't realize it at first. I care about what people do, and how they feel, even if they think it's not my business. I just like to show them that I care.
This book showed me how you should act in certain situations, and that you should always be prepared for something to happen, so you know what to do. It also showed me that you should always be yourself and believe in yourself, but most of all just respect yourself and others. I would just like to let you know that I think you are truly inspirational. Thank you for reading my letter and thank you for writing Because of Winn-Dixie.
