LoL... That happens in my class too.
All of those nerdy kids look uneasy when we talk about it.
And some of the weird geeky/loser-ish kids just laugh so hard... (Don't mean to judge people, but I couldn't really think of something that will seperate them lol...)
We actually watched this disgusting video today.
I couldn't walk straight for awhile lol...

haha it wasn't relle the nerdy kids..i mean, if we're like talking about groups.
the people who were being really immature were these guys who are just relle obnoxious and for some reason everybody likes them haha.
and we had a substitute teacher the whole time, because my actual teacher had to leave cuz she was, like, really pregnant..so she was always yelling haha.

I know which group your talking about... You're talking about all the ballers...
You're a hater :P.. Jk
But then, most of the "Obnoxious" guys weren't in my class.
I wasn't at all amused by "Sex Education"
All my friends are in the other class -.-
I sit between two of my closer girl friends, and basically we don't really pay attention to class lol.
Coincidentally though, we have a sub too XD

krrristin
11-01-2007, 11:59 PM
Ok couple questionssss why are we whiting out the word "sex"?
and why does it say "young kids not for you"

sex education isnt bad, they simply warn and inform

even if there are younger kids, we're not talking about bad stuff... we're simply talking about the class

11-02-2007, 07:57 PM
I did four years ago in 4th grade. Again in 5th. In 6th my teacher was like we'll skip over that section. I got it in 7th for a week and in 8th they didn't and this year I get it again. In 5th we went into two much detail though. 4th was just a video about puberty.

we had this huge portion on our exams in 7th grade about it.
it was this whole section in our science class, where we learned, like, everything about it.
and now we're taking health this year, since its a required class. *yay* :P

SmileyMiley11

Number1MileyFan
11-02-2007, 11:53 PM
yeah, we've learned about it since seventh grade? maybe sixth...i don't know which one, but health is required this year, and we have to take home the computer babies sometime in the next few weeks to make us not want to have sex before we're married. but last year, our teacher was totally comfortable about talking about-unlike every other teacher i've had that has taught it-he even told us about which condom stretched the longest, etc. we all didn't know whether to laugh at him for being all into it or be freaked out at him for being all into it.

whyd you white out the word 'sex'? the videos are to inform, and its probably better that kids know about it and when to do it so they wont fall into teen pregnancy, and have safe sex so they dont fall into AIDS.
yes, i have, i learned in 8th, 9th and now 10th grade, im going to watch another video in March.

Miley_Fan23

i first had it in grade 6.
now in grade 9 and we will do it in health.

last year we had this weird teacher, and he came over to me & my boyfriend (we sat next to eachother in class) and he started staring at us and then said to me; 'be safe, i don't want to see you pregnant next year' he went up and said it to every girl who had a boyfriend, it was so weird and kind of funny. though i don't like the fact that he thought i had had sex at the age of 13...

Lol, last year we were in the middle of disecting some sort of shark thing
and my teacher just gets talking about reproduction for some weird reason.
So we had to sit there for an hour listening to a lecture about it. And sadly,
we never got to disect the sharks :(:P

i had a less erious one in 5th grade && a more serious one in 6th grade.
i'm in 9th grade now. && as silly as these talks may seem, they really are important. they teach u some important stuff, and i mean, come ON, it's the FOL(as Mandii says.)u gotta learn it sometimes. && if u joke a/b it, think it's funny, or are immature a/b it, you really DO need2 grow up. u wont think its so funny when ur older. its serious, && its about love.

Yes, in the 7th grade. This year (8th) we had tabaco. Like the reasons for not smoking.
But when we had it it was pretty uncomfortable because the teacher also talked about the girl's period and saying "the girls who havee it may know thaat.... " or "you may have realized your ..... has been growing" and we were like HEELLO? THE BOYS ARE LISTENING!
when you read it it may not sound as uncomfy as it was...
I think sex is part of life and shouldnt be the tabu thaat it is. like it's not right to have sex like at 14 but at 14 you MUST know that you shouldnt' do it, why, what are its consecuences, etc. because teens who don't know all that stuff will end up with VIH and pregnant at 13 years old.

miji.hannahmontana
11-15-2007, 05:08 PM

so do i. i don't think people who have it before marriage are dumb or anything, it's their body. but i seriously plan to stay pure till marriage.

^^ I agree. I would prefer not to have a baby at 16 or 18 b/c it messes up your life.

They split us by boys/girls so I didn't have to sit with my friends who are boys, luckily. We had one in 4rth grade and then we saw it again in 5th grade along with one that the boys were seeing too. And yes, body parts were included.

Had it for about three years now, and honestly the drudgery gets old..

I mean, I have the interweb, what do I need Sex Ed for?

As Mr. Dave Attel put it:

"No one has freckles on their a**, use a condom"
^
In my opinion, 'nuff said. I learned more from that stand up segment than many 45 minutes of talk.

hmfhannahmontanafan
12-10-2007, 09:55 PM
I've had it since grade 6.. although we didn't really talk much about it.
I'm gonna learn about it later this year ; this year we learn a lot about it and have tests on it and stuff.
The reason I haven't had SE yet is cause I have health next semester, not this one. :P

SmilesFromMiley
12-11-2007, 03:10 AM
I've been having it for like, 2 years? It's nothing new... My friends talk about it like before they thought us this stuff. The teachers think like as if we're so dumb sometimes... And some boys in my class are just lame... They laugh like hell when the teacher said something that have to do with sex and your sexual organs... And their most favourite word is "Balls". I don't know what is so funny about that word... I do know what's the meaning though but it doesn't ring any bell when it comes to funniness... Guess they are just sick? =p p.s. No offence to boys who read this!

omg i kno exactly what you mean..its like...UMM IMMATURE MUCH? lol i had it in 6th grade, not 7th for sum reason, and then im having it later this year(8th). but its odd because they dont call it "sex ed" its "CPR or creating positive relationships". Its like c'mon guys we arent 2nd graders.

why does it say "young kids this isn't for you"?
sex is something everyone needs to learn about, & so they won't get hurt. it's a way of life.

cupcake
12-24-2007, 10:49 PM
(UM, NOT TO BE BUMPISH, BUT...)

Exactly what Starry said! =/
& why did you white out the word "sex" in your first post?
& This SHOULD be for young kids.
They could ask their parents about it, & yeah, it'd be akward for them to talk to their parents about this, but it'll teach them NOT to do "it" early & that if you ever want to do "it", how to be safe, & etc.

I, on the other hand, am 9 years old, and I learned many things from this thread. So there's no reason for me to be able to read it, and littler kids don't. (If that made sense).

And no, I haven't tooken a class. XD

samster911
12-25-2007, 01:40 AM
we started learning about in grade 7..and last year it was like all detailed the videos..
the guy in the vid was showing how to put a condom on and stuff about it so he used a cucumber :/

why it says not fur young'ns is (:P)
cuz we don't need this website

kids will learn when they
are needed to. =)

but.. no. we had one about periods in
4th grade, but nuffin lyke sex. ;)

Yeah, afew times. In one of my schools everytime the girls or boys were put in a group together, we would talk about sex and relationships. The teacher brought a bannana flavored condom and put it on a water bottle. Then she passed it around and the girls blew the condom up like a balloon. In the school I'm in now we talk about STDs and how to have safe sex, non-stop. I don't see why younger kids can't read this, I knew how the whole "baby making" thing went down around 6 years old. Sorry if the whole sex ed information was TMI, my school is very awkward :/
