GameTap gave it a Four out of Ten.

To its credit, Music Jam does an admirable job of recreating the premise of the television series. The events are mostly of the musical variety, featuring three types of guitars (lead, rhythm, and bass), drums, and vocal coaching. Hannah isn’t going to melt any faces, but the guitar sections are fairly entertaining. While creating a music video sounds interesting enough, the judging system leaves absolutely no room for creative potential and always boils down to tossing in as many outfits, stages, and special effects into the scenes as possible.
