I looked up veneers and they are sooo expensive look:
Porcelain veneers are more expensive than their composite resin counterparts. Traditional porcelain veneers may cost from $900 to $2,500 per tooth. Porcelain veneers can last 10 to 15 years. Composite veneers cost approximately $250 to $1500 per tooth and are expected to last five to seven years. WOW:D

can't you just go your dentist and get them whitened

White teeth doesn't necessarily mean veneers. You are correct, laxgoalie...she may have just had them whitened.

Miley's LOADED. I'm sure she can afford veneers if she did get them..which I hope she didn't because she's only 14. She's like SUPER WEALTHY though, especially with all of these sold out concerts!

Actually there's a major difference within two weeks, this is the difference between September 27th and October 6th.

No way braces can do it that quickly, just a bit sad that she seemed to have taken a shortcut by using veneers.
did she get actual new teeth or did they get fixed lol

They didn't replace her teeth no, that wouldn't work anyway and I doubt any dentist (how insane he or she might ever be) would replace the teeth of a fourteen year old with implants.
What they do with veneers is just put a thin layer of material on top to smooth things out and make things appear straighter. Like in Miley's case some chips on some of her teeth seem to have disappeared and the general whiter and straighter appearance. At least this dentist seems to know what he's doing even though he shouldn't be doing it on a fourteen year old girl.

well....
I guess she just did it to look good.
I'm sure she's not the one who wanted it!

Of course they don't have to do that, a veneer is just a thin layer over the original teeth. You can't straighten teeth within ten days.
