New School, New Friends

"Danielle, hurry down here your gonna miss the bus" shouted my mom from downstairs. It was my first day at a new school and i was trying to avoid taking the bus since i didn't know anyone yet.
"bye mom" i walked out the door and to the corner, i got there just as the bus was stopping, and just as i suspected the bus was packed. i saw one seat that only had one person in it, so i headed towards that one.
"May i sit with you" i asked softly
"of course" said the boy in the seat
"Hi, i'm Danielle. I just got transferred to this school" i said
"I'm Ni-- Mike, i just got transferred here too." replied the boy
I ruffled through my backpack to try & find my notepad, i basically took out all my books and put them on my lap.
"So which school did you transfer from?" asked Nick
"NorthEast High, on Long Island. I miss it." i replied
"Oh, i miss my old school back in Jersey." he replied

We finally came to a stop at the school that looked like a city compared to where i came from.
"Let me see your schedule" asked Mike
"we have basically every class together. We can try to get around this school together if you want."
"That would be awesome" i said excitedly

Nick & I walked together to first period.
Since it was bio we had tables so Mike & i sat next to eachother.
Behind us were 2 girls.
"Hi i'm Jenny" said one of the girls
"and i'm Ashley" said the other
"i'm Danielle, i just got transferred here"
"who are you?" asked Jenny to Mike
"i'm Mike, i also just transferred here"
"cool, you guys are gonna love it here" said Jenny & Ashley

Soon enough bio was over and me and Mike went to our next class...math.
We walked in and sitting in 2 desks near eachother were Jenny, Ashley, & another girl.
"Heys guys" Mike & i said in unison
"hey" replied Jenny and Ashley
"Mike, Danielle... this is our friend Kristin" Ashley said
"Hi Kristin" i said back

Skipping the rest of the school day
*Bus Ride Home*

"Hey Danielle, do you want to come over my house?" said Mike
"Sure, just let me call my mom"
i looked through my bag pulling out everything except for my phone.
"I guess i left my phone at home. Can i borrow yours?"
"Sure" said Mike while pulling his phone from his pocket
"You have an iPhone?!?!" i asked shockingly
"Yea Apple ga--" Mike stopped in the middle of his sentance
"uhh...ok" i replied confused,whatever i just ignored it and called my mom

*Mike/Nick Thinking To Himself*
I almost spilled who i really was to Danielle, twice in one day! I think she might be supicious now. The only reason we had to move was cause of all the fans back in Jersey, i'm surprised know one here know's who i am. Weird

*Back To Talking on The Bus*
Danielle her mom

"so can i go?"
"sure, but where does your new friend live?"
"down the block so i'll walk home after"
"ok...have fun"

"i can come" i said to Mike
"ok cool"

*Jenny's POV*
"Hey Kristin & Mufasa(Ashley's nickname. Don't you think that Danielle's friend Mike looked exactly like Nick Jonas?"
"Nah, it can't be," Ashley said, "can it?"
"he did look a lot like Nick & as far as i know JB did move, but know one know's where" said Kristin.
"hmm...well his name is different and i didn't see the dog tag like Nick has. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if anyone finds out where they moved to."

Strange Resemblance

*Danielle's POV*
When we finally got to Mike's house, we walked in greeted by his mom.
"and who do we have here?"
"Hi i'm Danielle"
"nice to meet you, i'm Denise" Mike's mom said introducing herself
"Mike you know you have somewhere to go tonight, Paul & Adam are already there"
"yea i know mom" replied Mike
"uhh...well it was nice to meet you, i guess i'll get going now since you have to go somewhere." i sad sadly

*Mike/Nick's POV*
Before i could stop Danielle she had already walked out the door, and was walking up her driveway considering she only lived 2 houses down.
"Mom, i know i have the concert tonight but she could have stayed for a little bit."
"Mike, just go get ready your already late for the soundcheck" said his mom

*Danielle's POV*
I walked in to my house greeted by my mom
"Danielle, why are you home so early...i figured you would be there more then 20 min." she said cofused
"Oh, umm...my friend had to go somewhere"
I walked over to the window seeing Mike's car pull away, next thing i hear my phone ringing.

Ashley,Jenny & Kristin Danielle
"Hello?"
"Hey Danielle it's Ashley & Jenny"
"Oh hey guys, wats up?"
"nothing really, just getting ready for a concert"
"cool, who are you going to see?"
"The Jonas Brothers!"
"hmm...never heard of them" i guess they weren't very popular on Long Island I thought to myself.
"Their huge here, we'ed invite you to come but we don't have an extra ticket"
"that's ok, i have a lot of things to do around the house anyway...have fun though"

I guess i needed to catch up on the latest music, so i went onto google and searched "Jonas Brothers"
When a few pictures came up i noticed that the one boy looked exactly like Mike, but as far as i knew he didn't have any brothers.
I closed out of google and tried not to think about the resemblance of Nick Jonas & Mike.

Unforgettable Night

*At The Concert*
Jenny's POV
"Jonas Jonas Jonas" everyone chanted as 'Bye Bye Bye' was playing.
Finally JB walked out and put on an amazing show! After the show i called my mom, who was late as usual. So me Ashley & Kristin walked around the arena for a bit. While we were watching the people leave i saw a familiar face.
"Veronica is that you"
"JENNY!!!" she yelled across the arena lobby, her mom was late also.
So me, Ashley, Kristin, and Veronica wandered around the arena. Ashley not paying attention while she was talking bumped into someone.
"Sorry sir" she looked up saying to the man she had bumped into
"yo-- you- your Mr. Jonas, Papa J" said Kristin
"Yes i am, and thats quite alright just be more careful next time" he replied sweetly "Would you guys like to meet Nick, Kevin & Joe?" he asked
We all looked at him wide eyed and replied at the same time "of course"

*A Few Minutes Later*
"Hi I'm Nick"
"I'm Joe"
"And I'm Kevin, Nice to meet you guys"
We were still all in shock, and basically just stared at them for a couple of minutes
"are you ok?" said Joe while waving his hand wildly in front of Jenny's face
"Wha...yea i'm fine, but idk about them" i said pointing to my three friends
Ashley, Kristin, & Veronica still all had their eyes locked on Nick.
"are they alright" asked Nick
"uh...yea their fine" i said while doing my Jonas snap in each of their faces to get them out of it.
"ok well would you guys like a picture?" said Kevin
"YES!" we replied
Papa J took the picture and we got our autographs, then my mom finally arrived.
"byee guys" we said, once we all got into the car we had relized that we forgot to get hugs, i guess we were in so much shock we had forgotton to ask.

*Danielle's POV*
My cell phone started to ring, it was Ashley.
Ashley Danielle
"Hey Danielle"
"Hey Ash, how was the concert?"
"one word, AMAZING!"
"did you meet them?"
"yea i accidently bumped in to Papa Jonas and he told us the boys were coming out soon so we waited"
"awesome gotta go byee"
"b--"
i hung up the phone before Ashley finished saying goodbye since i saw Mike's car pulling into the driveway. i ran outside to greet him
"Hey Mike"
"oh uh...umm...Hi Danielle" he said nervously looking around
"how was whatever you had to do?" i asked
"good"
"umm...why are you looking around"
"oh uh...no reason"

*Nick's POV*
I kept looking around to make sure Joe & Kevin didn't pull up and blow the cover.
"I just want you to know..." my phone started ringing, it was Joe
"hang on a sec. Danielle" i said while quickly running to the side of the house
Joe Nick
"guys can you just drive in circle for a bit?"
"why?"
"because there's this really...nice girl over, and she has no idea who we are. I just want to get to know her before i say that i'm part of the 'Jonas Brothers'."
"ooohhh...Nick's got a girlfriend"
"Joe shut up she's not my girlfriend, just a friend"
"Whatever you say Nick, but we're only driving around for 15 minutes so make it fast."
"fine bye"

Nick hung up his phone and headed back over by Danielle
"Is everything ok, Mike" I asked
"Yea everything'sfine, my mom just said I need to come inside in 10 minutes."
"Oh ok"
*Ring*
"Hang On Mike, it's my mom."

Danielle Her Mom
"Danielle, where are you?!?!"
"Down two houses at my friends."
"Were you planning on telling anyone, you scared me. Come home...now!"
"But Mom..."
"Now!"

*Danielle's POV*
"Mike, I have to go"
"ok bye Danielle" he said while pulling me into a hug, which was just about the best hug ever.

*Nick/Mike's POV*
I didn't want Danielle to leave, but I could hear her mom yelling so i knew she had to.

Just as she walked into her house Joe & Kevin pulled up

"Hey Nick, where's your girlfriend?" asked Joe
"Joe I already told you, she's not my girlfriend. We're just friend's"
"Ok Nick..." said Kein unconvinced

*School*
"Hey Danielle want to go get ice cream with us after school?" asked Jenny pointing to Ashley and Kristin
"Sure, can Mike come"
"yea" replied Jenny
"great i'll go ask him"
I walked over to Mike who was doodling on a piece of paper.
"hey Mike want to come get ice cream with me, Jenny, Ashley, & Kristin after school?"
His eyes lit up
"sur- oh wait i can't"
"oh ok" I said as i walked away upset

*After School*
"Before we get ice cream i have to go chek the Jonas Brother's Mysapce" said Ashley, "I do it everyday to see if anything is added." she continued
*Looking at their Myspace*
"Omg!"
"What?!" we all asked
"JB is having a concert at 4 in the Wal-Mart parking lot"
"are you kidding?!?!" asked Jeny and Kristin about to jump out of their skin
"no!" repled Ashley with a huge smile on her face
"Ok forget about ice cream, Danielle your going to your first Jonas Brothers concert"
"uh...ok" i replied confused

Is That???
So we started to walk around the block to Wal-Mart and saw a stage being set up. Ashley Jenny and Kristin just pulled me saying
"come on don't you want to be in the front"
we waited about 20 min. before the Jonas Brothers came out, strangly the one Jonas Brothers, Nick, looked a lot like Mike. I just kinda shrugged it off and enjoyed the show.
After about 3 songs they brought out a stool and Kevin said
"this is the part of the show where we like to get romantic"
then Joe said
"Nick why don't you pick the lucky girl to come up on stage"
Nick kinda just gave Joe a look, but then finally pointed in my direction
"Danielle he pointing to you" screamed Jenny so i would hear her
"go up there" followed Ashley
So i slowly walked up onto the stage since i was kinda shy and i knew that everyone was stairing at me in jealously.
The boys sang "Please Be Mine" and then i went back over by Jenny Kristin and Ashley
"You have no idea how lucky you are" they all said
"So how would you guys like to hear a new song?" said Joe excitedly
"whoo..." everyone screamed
"well here it is" said Kevin

After this song the concert ended and we went straigt to the meet & greet table.
While Jenny went straight to Joe, Ashley and Kristin ran right over to Nick
I started with Kevin since they were over by the others.
"hi i'm Kevin, did you enjoy the show"
"yea this was my first concert. You guys were great!" i said
"thanx" he replied
i then went over to Nick and now that i was up close i noticed he looked even more like Mike.
"Hey im Nick" he said with a huge smile on his face while snaping, Ashley and Kristin looked a little jelous at the smile he gave me.
"hi" i replied while blushing
i got a hug and then moved on to Joe who was still chatting with Jenny about something totally random.
"hey i'm superman...i mean Joe"
"oh hi Joe" i said while laughing
we all took our pictures and then Jenny, Kristin, Ashley, & I walked back to my house.

Nick's POV
Once i saw Danielle walk into the meet & greet room i got really happy. Joe & Kevin noticed too.
"so Nick did that girl that you seemed to like go to your school?" asked Joe
"uhh...which girl what are you talking about?" i said trying to throw them off
"you know exactly which girl we're talking about" said Kevin
"yea she goes to my school. But what does that matter"
"no reason just asking, wait a second Nick, was that the girl that you wrote 'Just Friend's' about and the one who dosen't know your part of the Jonas Brothers" asked Kevin
"uhh...maybe" i replied
"Nick..." said Joe giving me another one of his looks
"ok fine it is"
"don't you think she's going to realize your the same person after meeting you here?" Kevin said
"well, i never really thought about it, i guess i'll tell her tomorrow unless she mentions it."
"good idea" Joe said while nodding his head wildly

The Truth Comes Out

"hey mike what's up?" i said while walking up to his desk
"oh nothing really i just have a lot of stuff on my mind" he replied
"you do seem kinda out of it"
"yea i'll tell you about it later"
"ok..."

Not knowing what Mike could possibly have to tell me i just went through the school day waiting for that last bell to ring so i could find out what was wrong.
Finally 9th period bell rang and i ran to my locker to meet Mike, he looked not himself.

Danielle Nick
"so what was it that you had to tell me?" i asked
"wait till we get outside"
"ok fine then let's go" i said while pulling him behind me
"ok now that were outside what is it"
"well uh...i'm kinda sorta one of the..." he said unsure
"one of the what?!?!"
"uhh...one of the Jonas Brothers" he said kind of looking down waiting for a response
"i knew Nick well you seemed familiar at the concert last night. why didn't you just tell me from the beginning? did you think it would change the way i thought of you?"
"ok...promise you won't tell?"
"uhh...i promise" i replied
"well we had to move out of Cali because too many people knew where our house was and would sit outside and wait, it was harmful to us and our family. So we moved here and changed our names just for school and stuff. And i figured if i told you from the beginning you would have just looked at me as Nick Jonas from the Jonas Brothers and not as Nick Jonas the person."
"it dosen't make a differecne to me, to be honest with you i had never heard of the 'Jonas Brothers' till Jenny, Kristin, and Ashley had mentioned seeing you guys one day."
"oh really?"he said surprised
"yea i guess you weren't very big in my old town."
"guess not, but now we have a new record label 'Hollywood Records' and we're starting to get known everywhere. Soon i probably won't even be able to go to school anymore becuase the more we get known, the more people will realize that i'm really Nick not 'Mike'"
"oh" i replied sadly
"but don't worry we'll still be close" he said with a huge smile pulling me into a hug
i just smiled and then walked into my house, then watched Nick walk into his

*A few months later before school*
-ding dong-
i ran to the door knowing exactly who was there, considering Nick and I had become quite close since he told me his true idenity
"hey Nick ready for school?"
"actually Danielle i'm not going anymore"
"what...why???"
"because we are way to known now and people will start to recognize me, i'm surprised no one has yet."
"yea i guess you're right"
"but you're still coming to the concert tonight right?"
"yea of course i woulden't miss it. Jenny, Ashley, and Kristin are coming too. Do you think since i have backstage, and since they are my friends that you could give me a few extra passes?"
"i figured you would ask that so here are 4 passes one for you and then one for eac of them"
"thanx, i'll see you tonight"
"ok byee"
"byee"

*At The Concert*
"i hope they sing 'just Friends'" Ashley said excitedly
"yea i wonder who it's about" said Kristin
"idk but whoever it is, is one lucky girl" replied Jenny
"agreed" said Ashley and Kristin
The concert started and i already knew the set list so i knew that Ashley was going to be happy once 'Just Friends' started.
"our next song is 'Just Friends' which Nick wrote all by himself" Joe said while pointing at Nick
Nick, blushed and then shot a look right at me while starting the song.
"omj, Danielle did you just see that look he gave you?" asked Kristin
"are you and Nick secretly dating" Ashly said while crossing her arms
"no, we're just uhh.."
"just what???" they all asked now interested in what i had to say
"ok you guys have to promise you won't say anything to anyone"
"ok we promise"

"remember Mike???"
"yea what ever happened to him???"
"he right there standing on the stage."
"you mean..."
"yupp Nick Jonas was going to our school for a few months, but you can't tell anyone, i promised him i woulden't say. They had to move because of all the crazy fans in Cali"
Kristin and Ashley's eyes lit up
"omj we actually talked to Nick Jonas and went to school with him" they said while looking at me.

*After The Concert*
"hmm...i have some extra backstage passes who should come with me???" i said while waving them in Ashley, Jenny, and Kristin's faces
"i think you should bring us!" they all replied
"ok i guess you can come"

*Nick POV*
"so Nick is your girlfriend here again tonight?" Joe teased
"Joe i told you she's not my girlfriend yet..."
