INTRO
I go to babysit two kids and their friend while the four parents go to a party. But what happens when their friend is Frankie Jonas and Mr and Mrs Jonas are out with the parents of the other kids I'm watchin?


All the people are real actually. I do have 2 brothers, one of them is friends with Tim Kaiser's son, The Kaisers do have 3 kids, and Tim Kaiser is a real producer. (http://imdb.com/name/nm0435220/)

Background:
I babysit little kids and I have two brothers at home that I watch a lot, too, so it didn’t come as a surprise when I got called to watch one of my brother’s friends. The kid was 11 and had two older brothers 15 and 13. The 15 year old was going to a friend’s house so he couldn’t watch the other two and I was told the 13 year old would be in his room playing video games most of the night and just to check on him every now and then. The dad was a producer (Tim Kaiser… this family is real and my brother is friends with the kid) and they had a party to go to. They told me there was also another kid over whose parents were going to the party with them.
A Babysitter’s Dream
Chapter 1
“Mr. Kaiser just called and asked me to babysit his two younger kids and a friend of theirs” I told my mom. “They are really sorry that it’s such short notice, but I told them no problem and they are coming to get me in 15 minutes.”
“Ok since we aren’t doing anything tonight and it is Friday that’s fine” She replied.
“Thanks mom! I’m going to go get something to eat so when I’m there I wont be hungry and have to steal their food” I said, laughing.
“Eat quickly and brush your teeth and hair so they don’t think you’re a slob” she said.
“Yeah, yeah I know.”
I finished eating and getting ready to go when I heard the doorbell ring. It was Mr. Kaiser!
“I got it mom!” I yelled
“Don’t forget your phone” she said, coming over to hand it to me.
“Thanks mom, I’ll call if their party goes longer than planned” I gave her a hug and ran out the door “Bye!”
I hopped into Mr. Kaiser’s car and said hello with a huge grin on my face, I loooooved babysitting kids, they can be SO cute! He told me that they would probably be out late and the party was in Hollywood. I didn’t want to be rude so I didn’t ask about what the party was for even though I knew he was a producer and stuff. He gave me their cell phone number and I put it in my phone and soon we were at their house. As we were walking in he told me that the friend I was watching too was 6 and his name was Frankie. We walked into the house and I didn’t see the kids anywhere… He told me they were upstairs and would be down in a minute but he and his wife had to leave right away. He told me to order pizza, gave me some money, showed me around the kitchen and the play room. Then their friends who they were going to the party with pulled up outside and the Kaisers ran out to their car and hopped in. I assumed that the friends they were going with went and got something from somewhere since their kid was already upstairs. Whatever, I didn’t care I was ready to go play kid games with this 6 year old who I hoped was as adorable as the other little kids I’ve watched.
After they left I decided to go upstairs to see what the three boys were doing. I checked in on the older boy (whose name I forgot… oh well he was supposed to be in his room all night anyway) and went into Josh’s room to look for the other two kids. (Josh is the 11 year old)
I went into the room and said “Hi Josh, its Sarah… I think we’ve met before?”
“Yeah we met when I hung out with Thomas (my brother) once” he replied “that’s Frankie” he pointed to the corner of the room.
“Hey Frankie I’m Sarah. Hm… You look familiar… do I know you?” I said, puzzled.
“Um I don’t think so.” He said.
But something was strangely familiar about him. OMG OMG OMG it struck me… he was FRANKIE JONAS!!! I silently screamed and jumped up and down... in my head.

well I have a chapter that I am posting
its not very interesting... cuz i wrote like 5 nice long interesting chapters and then I changed my mind
so here it is:

Chapter 2
“O never mind then” I said, trying to keep my cool. “Do you guys want to go downstairs and do something? Play a game or watch TV? I can order pizza whenever you get hungry just tell me when you want it.”
“Let’s order pizza!!!” Frankie said excitedly.
“I want pepperoni” Josh said.
“I want cheese, lots and lots of cheese!” Frankie replied.
“Ok, we’ll get half pepperoni, half cheese… medium is enough right? O should we get something for your brother?” I said.
“Yeah… medium is good for us but you should get him a medium cheese of his own” Josh replied.
“Wow a medium pizza of his own? OK.” I decided to go check with him and he said that was good.
I walked downstairs with Frankie and Josh and called and ordered pizza. I decided to get some cinnamon bread too… because that stuff is just awesome! They said it would be here in 30 minutes.
I turned around to the boys and said, “If you guys are good you get to eat the cinnamon bread I ordered.”
“Yay!” Frankie yelled.
“Cool. That bread is yummy” Josh said nonchalantly.
“Do you guys have any games you want to play? We can go outside and play, its not dark yet.” I said.
“Lets play baseball!” Josh said.
“OK I think I’ll mostly watch though” I said.
They ran outside and got some bats and a baseball and started playing. We were playing in the front yard so when the ball went out into the street I had to run and get it so they didn’t get run over. Since there were only two of them one would be pitcher and work the bases while the other would hit the ball and have ‘ghost runners’ on base. It was fun to watch them and they had fun saying who it was they were hitting as and stuff. Unfortunately, after a little while the ball landed on the roof of their neighbor’s house. They ran to get a stepstool and I tried to reach the ball but I was just too short.
As I was reaching up to try and get it down, I suggested going and asking Josh’s brother to try. Frankie ran and got him but he couldn’t reach the ball either. I knew the pizza would be coming soon so I decided not to worry about it and told them that we would just go inside and wait.
This didn’t go over well.
“But we were having so much fun!” Josh said.
“I want to keep playing until the pizza comes!!!” Frankie said.
“Well how do we get the ball down???” I asked. “Do you have a ladder or something Josh?”
“Um I don’t know where it is…” Josh said.
“Didn’t my dad use it last?” Frankie asked him.
“Yeah he did. But we don’t want to call and bug him.” Josh replied.
“Lets call Joe! He knows where my dad put it.” Frankie said.
“OK” Josh said.
OMG they were going to call Joe Jonas!!! They ran into the house and dialed the phone.
“Hey Joe, where is the ladder?” Frankie said. He paused and then “I’m at Josh’s house” he paused again then said “Thanks!!! We lost our ball on the roof and Sarah can’t reach it” PAUSE “She’s our babysitter” PAUSE “She’s nice and we get pizza soon.” PAUSE “Ok see you when you get back from the party, bye!”
They were at the party too!!! So Mr. Kaiser must have worked on a movie or a show with them… Maybe I could meet them. Especially if they all came back to get Frankie.
“Its out in the garage!” Frankie said as he ran out the door.
We followed him and I got the ladder out and the ball down. They kept playing until the pizza got here then they went inside and ate. I played some video games with them and a fun card game that they just got. Soon it was late and Josh went to sleep in his bed while Frankie went to sleep in the extra bed in Josh’s room. Josh’s brother was still in his room, but when I checked on him he was asleep too. It was about 11:30 when the phone rang. I was sitting in the family room reading a book (and listening in case one of the boys woke up) and I ran to the phone so they wouldn’t be disturbed.
“Hello” I said quietly. As the night went on I had forgotten I was watching Frankie Jonas because he was just a little kid but I was quickly reminded when the voice I heard on the other line was familiar.
“Hi this is Joe.” Joe said. JOE JONAS!!! Was on the phone with me!!!
“Um hi Joe” I said nervously.
“I was just calling to check on my brother, Frankie” He said.
“O Frankie’s asleep.” I replied
“OK cool. We are almost done here at the party and I’ll be coming to get Frankie to bring him home. The Kaisers said they will drop of my parents and my brothers at our house and that could take awhile so I’ll be bringing you home. When a limo pulls up, that’s me!” Joe said.
“Ok um… that’s fine.” I said. OMG OMG OMG JOE JONAS WAS BRINGING ME HOME IN A LIMO!!!
“Cool I’ll be there in an hour or less.” He said. “Bye.”
“Bye” I said. AHHHHHHHHHHH I jumped up and down excitedly. I ran to the bathroom and starting fixing my hair and making sure I looked nice. I mean I wasn’t going to freak out on him, but a girl has to look hot when she meets a hot guy in a band who is amazing and funny and sweet :D. After I was done doing all I could do I went upstairs to check on everyone again. They were fine so I went back downstairs to wait. Shortly, a limo pulled up outside. I ran to the door so he wouldn’t ring the doorbell and wake up the boys. I opened the door and there was Joe Jonas!!!

Chapter 3
“Hi” I said, with a huuuuuge grin on my face.
“Hey, Sarah right?” Joe said.
“Yeah” I said, beaming at him. “Should we go wake up Frankie and carry him out?”
“Yeah” Joe said.
“OK” I said heading for the stairs. I walked up with Joe behind me. I gently woke up Frankie and picked him up.
“You don’t have to carry him, I can” Joe said.
“No its fine, he’s so adorable” I said smiling at Frankie who was still mostly asleep.
“Ok. I’ll go ahead and open the door for you.” He said. When we got downstairs he opened the door for me. Once I walked out he locked the front door since Josh and his brother were asleep in the house. He walked out to the limo and I followed. We both got in and I was holding Frankie because he couldn’t sit up on his own (he was so tired). I told the limo driver where I live and he started driving.
I looked over at Joe and said “So how was the party?”
“It was fun, we are working on a movie right now and the party was for press” Joe said, “So how was babysitting the boys?”
“FUN! We had a minor problem with a stray baseball landing on the roof, but otherwise it was really fun” I said.
“So you like babysitting?” Joe asked.
“Yeah, its so fun and little kids are so nice and like me a lot so I get to hang out, have fun, and get paid :D” I said laughing.
“So if we ever need a babysitter for Frankie we can call you?” He asked.
“Of course!!!” I said.
“Cool, can I have your number then for next time we have something like this?”
“Sure” I gave him my number. OMG MY HEART WAS GOING CRAZY! I JUST GAVE MY PHONE NUMBER TO JOE JONAS!!! “This is my house!” I said.
“Ok, let me take Frankie.” He said, I handed him Frankie and he laid him down on the seat. Joe got out and walked me to the door. “Thanks so much for babysitting Frankie, he thinks you’re nice and he’s probably right.”
“No problem”. I said smiling.
“Here’s the money from the Kaisers” He said, handing me some bills. “I’ll see you again.”
“Bye” I said, thinking hopefully I’ll see you again. I opened the door to see my dad standing there watching me. “Oh hi dad. This is Joe, um, he was out with the Kaisers and he brought me back in the limo.”
“I see that. Next time I want to know beforehand that some boy is bringing you home.” My dad said.
“Dad!” I hissed at him, giving him a look like hello!!! He’s standing right there and he’s a JONAS BROTHER!
My dad looked at me like I was crazy (I guess he didn’t understand my look) and squinted at Joe. “You look familiar… Sarah don’t you have a poster of this boy in your room?”
“Dad, not now” I whispered to him.
I guess he didn’t hear me because he said “Wait don’t you have two posters with him? Isn’t he one of those Jonas brothers? Haven’t you been to two of their concerts and the Hannah Montana show with him? Why is he bringing you home from the Kaisers?”
“O, yeah I am in a band called the Jonas Brothers. I’m Joe” He said, shaking my dad’s hand “Sorry that I didn’t let you know I would be bringing Sarah home.” Joe said, laughing to himself.
UGH now my plan of pretending not to know that he was Joe Jonas were ruined! I should have just run into the house and said bye! I turned to Joe and smiled. “Yeah I’m a fan… I didn’t want to act all weird on you though.”
“Its cool, that’s pretty sweet of you” Joe said, still laughing to himself. “Most fans FREAK OUT. We’ll probably still call you to babysit Frankie since he seems to like you so much. Well I have to go so bye.”
“Bye” I said, sighing to myself, ugh stupid dad. But then Joe hugged me!!! Right in front of my dad (who was raising his eyebrows pretty high at this whole exchange). I practically fainted right there! Luckily I managed to walk inside and close the door… but then I ran to the window and peeked out at him walking back to the limo. I could not believe my luck!
“Daaaaaaad, how could you do that to me!!?” I whined.
“Sorry, but next time I want to know who you are out with” HE said sternly.
“I didn’t know I would be out with Joe JONAS!!!” I said. “Besides mom wouldn’t have been so lame if she had been at the door waiting for me! Jeez dad.” I went into the kitchen and got some ice cream. I took it to my room and started eating it. I wanted to call my friends and tell them about the awesomeness but it was pretty late. Once I finished my ice cream I decided to text them. But when I took out my phone there was a text waiting for me… from an unknown person? Hm… weird… people I know don’t even text me. OMG OMG OMG IT WAS FROM JOE!!!

well we have some more publicity things we have to do for this movie and we were wondering if you could come over and watch Frankie some more

next Fri, Sat, and in two weeks on Thurs. we have a concert coming up, too in two weeks on fri.
I just checked and I’m free those days (thinking to myself-wow I’m so lame I never do anything)
cool and theres actually another concert in two weeks on sat. Frankie will be at a friend’s house so we were thinking you could come and see it and hang backstage since you’ll be watching Frankie so much for us(ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! !) cool! Can I bring some friends?

I got up jumped up and down when we stopped texting. This was so exciting!!! Then I texted Jenny, Vero, and Kristin because of course I would be bringing them to the concert. My text said:
O my joni! I babysat Frankie Jonas today and met Joe Jonas! It was amazing and I’m going to watch him 3 more times soon. And we have backstage passes and tickets to a concert in two weeks on Friday! NO JOKE!!!
I was pretty sure they would think I was lying/kidding around, and I really had no proof, but once I got the tickets and passes they would realize it wasn’t a lie. We are all neighbors but we first met and became close at school. They are in 10th grade and I am in 11th but we are all obsessed with the Jonas brothers. I was talking about them at lunch at school one day and we all just bonded over it. We are all 15 and totally awesome (if I do say so myself), but most of the people at our school don’t understand the Jonas obsession! So after I texted them I plugged in my phone to charge and went to bed. I had a lot of homework due on Monday and on Sunday I had other things to do so tomorrow would be homework day.
***The next day***
I woke up at around 9 (My house can get really noisy from my brothers and dad and I can’t seem to sleep in late even when it is quiet—probably because of waking up early for school—so I get up at 9 even on weekends. Totally gross!) , got dressed, ate breakfast, and started working on my homework. I had some breaks—eating, etc.—and I was done by 12. I cleaned my room (my mom told me to) and I was totally ready to go back to bed. But I looked at my phone and I had about 20 messages from Kristin, Vero, and Jenny and I didn’t want to read them all so I sent them a text and told them to come over.
I figured it would take them a few minutes (they lived in my neighborhood close enough to walk but not right next door) so I decided to go tell Katie, my next door neighbor (who is also a huge Jonas fan and would be getting the fourth ticket). She’s two years younger than me but we’ve been friends forever and our families are friends and everything. I rang her doorbell and when she opened the door I told her I had to tell her something amazing and I grabbed her arm and brought her to my house to wait for Vero, Jenny, and Kristin.
We walked in my door but they were already here. I guess they didn’t think I was lying and they believed me. I sat them all down on my couch and told them the story. They just sat there the whole time with their jaws hanging open.
“So… can you guys go to the concert?” I said.
“OMJ” they all screamed, and jumped up from the couch. They started jumping up and down all excited and I joined in. Haha we are dorks, but hey this was pretty amazing!!! We went to a concert before, but we didn’t get to meet them and our seats weren’t amazing so this was like EARTH SHATTERING. I mean I actually met JOE! I rode in a car with him, I watched his little brother. This was mind numbing, unbelievable stuff that I could have dreamed up at night. But it was real! We calmed down and sat down and I called my mom so I could tell her everything. I told her about Frankie and Joe and the concert and she was cool with it. She told me that it was fine that I was going to be babysitting for the Jonases, but to keep it all in perspective. We decided to go hang in my room and talk about how amazing this all was. When we got up there my phone was ringing that I had a text message. OMG IT WAS FROM JOE!!!
I screamed! “Ahhhhh!”
“What?” Kristin yelled.
“IT’S A TEXT FROM JOE!!!” I screamed.
“What does it say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????” they all asked.
“It says ‘hey my parents want to meet you can we come over?’” I said. “AHHHH! YES!” I sent him back a message saying yeah sure. His message back said ‘be there in 10’. “AAAAAAAAAAAAH! Omg omg omg you guys they are coming!!! I don’t know who exactly… but Mr. and Mrs. Jonas want to meet me and they are coming here!”
“No way!” Jenny said.
“Look! It says be there in 10! They are coming here!” I said. We started freaking out! We freaked out eve more than before. We ran around my room and my bathroom trying to look amazing since it sounded like Joe was coming. In more like five minutes the doorbell rang. I ran to the door yelling “I GOT IT!” I answered the door with Vero, Kristin, Jenny, and Katie coming up behind me.
“Wow that was fast.” Joe said.
“Yeah… I wanted to get the door before my brothers.” I said laughing. “Oh, these are my friends Kristin, Veronica, Jenny, and Katie… they were here when you texted so…”
“That’s cool, hey I’m Joe” he said to them.
“And I’m Frankie” Frankie said, stepping out from behind Joe.
“Hey Frankie!” I said. “So it looks like I’m your new babysitter?”
“Yup! I said you were awesome!” Frankie said grinning.
“Aw thanks” I said laughing.
“Soooo, my parents want to ‘talk’ to you and make sure its all good, they are at our house waiting. So can you come meet them?” Joe asked.
“Yeah… can my friends come? I don’t want to make them go home or wait here…” I said, trying to get my friends more time with the Jonases while keeping my cool.
“Um, I guess, yeah.” Joe said. “I’m driving… and we are making a stop at pinkberry.”
“SWEET! I am soooo hungry.” I said. “Just let me go grab my purse and tell my mom.” I pushed past KKVJ (new name for all of you) who were standing there smiling, and went to tell my mom and grab my stuff. I grabbed my phone too (which is nicknamed the cockroach so I’ll be calling that from now on… it is old and slightly large and ghetto-y…. :D). I came back to the door and saw Joe talking to Katie while Frankie was talking to KVJ. “Ok, let’s go.” I said.
“OK, good thing I have a big car.” Joe said. “Ok, Frankie you are sitting in the middle with… Jenny and Katie. Veronica and Kristin in the back and Sarah gets the front” He said while he got in the car.
Vero and Kristin got in first and I heard a gasp from them. “OMG its Nick!” Vero said. Kristin was staring.
“O yeah, Nick that is Veronica and Kristin, Katie and Jenny, and this is Sarah” Joe said laughing.
“So who is the new babysitter for Frankie? I mean he doesn’t need 5 babysitters does he?” Nick said.
“I’m the new babysitter” I said.
“O cool, I’m Nick” He said. “So pinkberry still?”
“Yeah, it’s still on the way so we are still going.” Joe said.
“Ok cool” Nick said. “That’s all I’m here for… o and to meet you Sarah.”
I laughed. “Its all good, I’m kind of looking forward to some pinkberry.”
By now everyone was in the car and Joe pulled away. I figured everyone was pretty happy with where they were sitting… well actually I’m sure Katie and Jenny wanted to have Frankie driving and Joe in between them, but they were close enough to him. I started talking to Joe about his favorite thing to get at pinkberry. I told him we should totally get it to go so we could get a pinkberry box. Those things make me smile :D.
Kristin’s POV
I was sitting next to NICK JONAS! This was amazing. I was kind of babbling about how I was doing in school… which was such a great subject, NOT! I mean if I could have some control over what I was saying I would not be talking about school to Nick Jonas, but the words were coming out like diarrhea. I could hear Jenny and Katie talking coherently to Frankie, but he was different. Oh well, I’d try to be witty later I was too nervous and excited now. Veronica was sitting there looking like she was about to blow. I stopped talking to look at her and she started having a hyper diarrhea of the mouth too. She started telling Nick about how she liked his music when she got a text. She took out her phone, which I was totally jealous of. I mean she got an i-phone from her parents because of this family plan.
Nick said, “Cool you have an iphone too? We just got ours a little while ago.”
“yeah, my parents are pretty awesome and they got it for me” Veronica said.
They started talking about their phones and I joined in with my razor. The conversation lasted us until we got to pinkberrry and it was definitely better than my school conversation.
Sarah’s POV
We pulled up to pinkberry and got our stuff and got back into the car. It only took us five more minutes to get to their house and once we were there we all piled out of the car and followed Joe up to the house. It was a pretty impressive house if you ask me. Joe brought us into the family room where KKVJ and Frankie stayed. I hoped KKVJ were going to keep their cool. I mean, it was hard for me and I had already met Joe the night before. Nick went upstairs with his pinkberry, I assumed to his room, and I followed Joe to the kitchen. Mr. and Mrs. Jonas were in there and I talked with them for about ten minutes about babysitting and Frankie. Then they said they had to leave, but we could hang out with the boys for as long as we wanted. They left and I walked into the family room. I was eating a bite of pinkberry but when I saw who was in the room I spit out my pinkberry and said “OMG”.
I picked up the pinkberry I dropped with my napkin and said “OMG I am so sorry its just you’re _______________, I was totally not expecting you here….” I guess my hope of KKVJ keeping their cool was blown by my stupidness.

Chapter 5
I picked up the pinkberry I dropped with my napkin and said “OMG I am so sorry its just you’re ZAC EFRON, I was totally not expecting you here….” I guess my hope of KKVJ keeping their cool was blown by my stupidness.
“OMG, that was so embarrassing of me! Hi I’m Sarah… I’m Frankie’s new babysitter.” I said trying to cover up how I spit pinkberry on the floor.
“Oh cool, Frankie’s awesome. I live nearby and I came to hang with Joe.” He said standing up and high fiving Joe. “What’s up dude?”
“Not much, just hanging out with Sarah and her friends” Joe said. “She watched Frankie the other day when he was with a friend, but my parents wanted to meet her since she’s going to be watching Frankie some more.”
“Oh that’s cool. So do you want to go see a movie or go bowling or something?” Zac asked.
KKVJ and I were just sitting on the couch this whole time but now Kristin said, “I like to bowl!”
“Well, if we go with you guys and go bowling that’s cool, but I am REALLY bad” I said.
“You guys can come. I think bowling sounds awesome! I’ll see if Kevin and Nick want to come” Joe said.
“Sweet! Let’s go bowling!!” Vero said jumping up from the couch.
“I’ll call my mom and tell her we’re going bowling. I’m done with all my stuff for school so it should be fine. You guys should probably call your parents too since they probably think you are still at my house.” I said to KKVJ. I got out the cockroach and KKVJ got out their phones to call their parents while Joe ran upstairs to find Kevin and Nick. I was done talking to my mom first and she said it was fine so I turned to Zac and said, “So… how embarrassing was my seeing you compared to other people?”
“Not that bad. At least you didn’t start screaming…” Zac said.
“Haha, yeah I can imagine.” I said laughing.
KKVJ got off the phones then. They all said they could come, but they couldn’t be out too late. Joe came running down the stairs then with Nick, Kevin and Frankie.
“Ok we are ready to go. Frankie is coming too. Since there are ten of us we are going to take two cars. I’ll bring Jenny, Katie, Nick, Kristin, and Veronica. Kevin, Zac, Sarah, and Frankie will go in Kevin’s car” Joe said. “Let’s go!”
Joe ran out the door to his car. We all followed him outside. Everyone got into Joe’s car and they started pulling away. Zac asked, “Can I drive Kev?”
“Yeah you can drive” Kevin said. “Sarah, mind if I sit next to you?”
“Do I mind? Um no, go ahead” I said. Kevin is my favorite Jonas brother! And he just asked to sit next to me! Frankie was in the back of the car already so I got into the middle and slid over. Kevin got in and Zac pulled away.
“We’ll be there in about fifteen minutes” Zac said.
“Ok cool…” I said.
“So, Frankie said he thinks you’re really cool. Joe told met that you’re a big fan, but you didn’t ask Frankie to introduce you to us and you didn’t fawn over Joe. I think that’s pretty cool of you” Kevin said.
“Yeah, apparently I do have self control!” I said laughing. “But Frankie is pretty cool, too.”
“Yeah I am!” Frankie said.
I laughed. Then the cockroach rang so I took it out of my purse. It was a text from Jenny:
OMG Joe is driving crazy!
I laughed. Kevin asked what was so funny.
“Oh, Jenny says Joe is driving crazy” I said.
“Haha, he’s probably trying to show off how cool his car is and how fast it goes. He does that a lot” Kevin said laughing.
“Yeah he does! But most of the time he does it with a girl in mind” Zac said.
“OOOOOO, Joe has a new crush!” Frankie said.
“I wonder who it is” I said.
“I don’t know… it could be anyone. It could even be you” Kevin said.
“Yeah right, he does not like me. I am not even in the car with him” I said.
“But all your friends are in the car with him, he could know that they would tell you about it. Or it could be one of them. I don’t think it could be anyone else because he hasn’t met anyone else new recently and he would have told us about a new crush if it wasn’t as recent as any of you guys” Kevin said.
“OK, well it is definitely not me, and don’t tell Jenny or Katie because they both like him” I said.
“And you don’t like him?” Kevin asked.
“Well I think he’s cool, funny, and crazy, but I don’t like him like THAT!” I said.
“So which one of us is your favorite/which one of us do you like?” Kevin asked.
“YO-Frankie of course” I said, catching myself before I revealed how obsessed I was with him.
“HA! Kevin, I beat out all of you!” Frankie said excitedly.
I blushed, “Yep, you are definitely the best Jonas.”
“So what am I? Chopped liver?” Zac asked.
“Haha, no, you are awesome too, Zac” I said laughing. Phew, that covered up my almost slip-up.
“Ok, well I’ll text Nick about Joe’s new crush and ask him what he thinks” Kevin said. He started texting and soon we were at the bowling alley. Joe’s car wasn’t there yet so we sat in the car waiting. “Nick said he doesn’t know who Joe likes, but he thinks Kristin and Veronica are awesome…”
“What about you? Which one of us do YOU think is awesome?” I asked.
“Well I haven’t talked to any of you all that much. But everyone in the other car is kind of young for me. Especially Katie” Kevin said.
“Um… you know I’m only 15 and a half, right?” I asked him… I guess our age differences wouldn’t work to well with my crush on Kevin, but I understood where he was coming from.
“Really? You seem older…” Kevin said.
“Well all my friends are older except for everyone with Joe… I am the third youngest in my class because I started school early so all my friends have been older than me. I guess I act a little older, but how old did you think I was?” I asked.
“I thought you were 17. But that’s cool” Kevin said. “Oh look there’s Joe! Let’s go!”
Kevin’s POV
We all piled out of the cars and went into the bowling alley. “Why don’t you girls go get two alleys for us while I get us shoes and pay” I said. They told me their shoe sizes, took Frankie, and walked over to two lanes on the end. The alley was really empty right now and I hoped it stayed that way so we didn’t cause a scene.
“Joe what’s the deal? Sarah said Jenny texted her saying you were driving crazy and we all know what that means… a new crush” I said.
“Or it means I shouldn’t have been passed by the DMV” Joe said.
“I don’t think so dude” Zac said.
“Just tell us who it is” Nick said. “Both Jenny and Katie seem to like you, and we all know how you love to get with girls who are fans. So is it Jenny or Katie?”
“OK fine, I think ________ is totally cute and really nice” Joe said smiling over at her.

My mood dropped. I am starting to get a crush on her too, but now that Joe has confessed his crush I can’t say I like her. Hopefully, Joe would get a crush on one of the other girls so I could make my move on __________. Or maybe I would stop liking her… I hope this won’t turn out bad.

Chapter 6
“OK fine, I think Sarah is totally cute and really nice” Joe said smiling over at her.
Kevin’s POV
My mood dropped. I am starting to get a crush on her too, but now that Joe has confessed his crush I can’t say I like her. Hopefully, Joe would get a crush on one of the other girls so I could make my move on Sarah. Or maybe I would stop liking her… I hope this won’t turn out bad.
Sarah’s POV
I was with KKVJ and Frankie over at the lanes. I was trying to find a good ball to use; I had to get a really light one because when I used heavy ones I was even worse at bowling. I hoped that I wouldn’t make too big of a fool of myself. I knew the age difference thing for me and Kevin was a big deal, and I didn’t want to seem like a clumsy idiot on top of it. I finally found a ball and walked over to Jenny.
“So, Kevin, Zac, and Frankie say that Joe has a crush on someone” I said. “They said that’s why he was driving crazy.”
“WHO?” Jenny asked.
“They didn’t know…” I said.
“OMG, it would be so cool if he liked me and we started going out…” Jenny said, swooning.
“Yeah, it would…” I said, thinking uh-oh, this could turn out bad with Katie and Jenny both having Joe as their favorite Jonas brother… I walked over to Kristin and Veronica.
*Sigh* “Nick is so awesome!” Kristin said.
“I know!” Vero said.
“He better go out with one of us because that would be so amazing” Kristin said.
Ugh, this could turn out bad, too. I walked away to Frankie.
“Did you find a ball?” I asked.
“Yeah, we come here all the time so I just got the one I always use” Frankie said.
“Wow, I never bowl… and I’m really bad at it. I’m thinking you are going to be better than me.” I said laughing.
“You’re probably right” Frankie said.
“Ha-ha thanks!” I said. “Who is the best bowler? I’m going to need major pointers.”
“Definitely Joe” Frankie said. “I’ll tell him to help you. Hold my ball!” Frankie thrust his ball into my arms and ran to the boys (Who were just starting to walk over with all our shoes). “JOE! Sarah needs help bowling!” he said (LOUDLY) as he was running.
I groaned… oh well. I put Frankie’s ball down and tried to practice a little… it did not go well.
When they got over to us, Joe said, “Ok, I’m going to sit out for now and help Sarah play because… well she stinks.”
I rolled my eyes. “Yeah, yeah… whatever.”
We all put on our shoes and got in our lanes. Frankie, Nick, Kristin, and Veronica were in my lane and Zac, Jenny, Katie, and Kevin were in the other lane. We started playing, and I didn’t do too badly because of Joe’s help. He told me tons of stuff about how to bowl better, most of which I didn’t absorb, but it was all helpful. He helped me release the ball correctly and demonstrated when I didn’t understand what he said. I was totally wrapped up in Joe and his coaching the whole first game.
Joe’s POV
When Frankie ran up to me saying Sarah needed help bowling, I decided it would be a great opportunity to flirt with her a little. It turned out she really did need a lot of help, so I coached her along. The whole time I was helping her, if I didn’t walk her through her turn then she hit hardly any pins. The good part was that when she would get a spare or a strike she would jump up and down excitedly and hug me. It was very amusing and sweet. I did notice that everyone in the other lane was watching me and Sarah, which was weird, but I didn’t mind. I was having lots of fun helping her bowl and was upset when after the first game Kevin said, “OK I am really hungry! Let’s take a break and eat something.”
Sarah’s POV
“Sounds good to me, I’m starving!” Jenny said. “What are we going to eat?”
“Well there is an in-n-out across the street… two or three of us should go get it some and bring it back” Kevin said.
“I’ll go get to get it!” I said. I was getting really hungry…. My pinkberry earlier was not exactly a good lunch. :D
“I’ll go too” Joe said.
Everyone told us what they wanted and Kevin, Joe, and I changed into our regular shoes. We walked over to in-n-out and ordered. Since we ordered for 10 people I figured it could take awhile so I sat down at a table to wait. Joe sat down at the table with me while Kevin stood by the counter. “That was definitely the best bowling I’ve ever done” I said. “Thanks for teaching me how to bowl better.”
“No problem, it was funny… I mean fun” Joe said laughing.
“HEY!” I said “be nice.”
Joe laughed. “How nice? Ask you out on a date nice? Because I was thinking next Sunday we could hang out and go to a movie or something.”
My jaw dropped. “UM” I said… Joe was awesome, but Kevin was so amazing and sweet and Jenny and Katie liked Joe… But now Joe was starting to look sad! OH NO! “Sure” I said. He looked so happy now. Oh no, what have I done…
Then they called our number, our food was ready. I grabbed as much as I could and started walking quickly to the door. I had to think about what had just happened… then I started falling! I had tripped on the wet floor!
“AHHHHHHHHHH” I shrieked.
Then my falling stopped, Kevin had run and caught me! I smiled at him huge. “Thanks” I said.
“Yeah” Kevin said, then he helped my regain my balance and walked back to the counter.
That was strange, I thought, he seemed so impassive. Oh well, I had a ‘date’ with Joe now anyway, I couldn’t worry about Kevin too. I started walking at a normal pace back to the bowling alley. I decided to keep my ‘date’ a secret because I wasn’t really sure how it would turn out. I wanted to keep my friends happy and hopefully end up with Joe as just my friend… We got to the bowling alley and I guess the boys were tight with the owners because they let us eat inside. Or we were just their only people all day and they wanted us to stay. Anyway, I ate at a table with Frankie while KKVJ ate together and Joe, Nick, Kevin and Zac ate together. Eating with Frankie was way easier than eating with anyone else would be and I didn’t even think about the ‘date’ while I ate.
Nick’s POV
While we ate, Joe told us that he asked Sarah out. I was thinking about Kristin and Veronica, but I noticed that Kevin had a weird look on his face. I decided it was nothing though. Zac was talking with Joe about what he should do on his date. I was done eating quickly so I got up and decided to keep bowling. Kristin and Veronica came over and started bowling with me in a few minutes. They were both kind of babbling and Veronica was really hyper, but they were nice. Their girl talk was a lot better than Zac and Joe’s dating talk. Jenny, Katie, Joe, and Zac started bowling in the other lane after about 10 minutes, but Sarah and Frankie just sat out. It was starting to get later, so we decided to leave when we finished our game. Joe, Sarah, Zac, Frankie, and I rode in one car while Kevin took Kristin, Katie, Veronica, and Jenny in the other. Kevin said he was going to drop them all off and then meet us at home. We were going to drop off Zac, bring Sarah to our house to get her keys (she left them at our house), and then we were going to bring her home.
We got in the car and I said, “So Sarah, you and Joe are going on a date next Sunday?”
“Yeah we are…” Sarah said.
“Sarah and Joe are dating?” Frankie asked “cool!”
“Yeah, cool” Sarah repeated. “So who will be getting me from my house when I come to babysit?”
“Either me or Kevin” Joe said.
“OK” Sarah said.
“So Sarah, do you have any siblings?” I asked.
“Yeah, I have two younger brothers. They are 11 and 8.” Sarah said.
“That’s cool.” I said. “So, Kristin and Veronica are… hyper.”
“Yeah, they are really awesome. They both like you a lot try not to break their hearts…” Sarah said.
“I won’t” I said laughing “So you are all really good friends?”
“Yeah” Sarah said sighing “we are.”
I started thinking about Kristin. She is so funny. She acted kind of dorky some of the time, but in a funny, cute way. I was thinking about asking her out… maybe I would ask Joe if I could double date with him and Sarah. But then Veronica was hyper and cool, too. I started contemplating the two girls...
Sarah’s POV
We dropped off Zac (but I asked him for a picture first to show all my friends… I mean he was Zac Efron). Then we got to their house and I found my keys. As Joe and I walked towards the door Kevin came in. He came in and said, “Joe, can I ask you something really quick?”
They walked into the family room while I waited by the door, but I could still hear them.
Kevin said, “I was wondering if Jenny and I could double date with you and Sarah. I asked her out when I dropped her off…”
“Yeah sure” Joe said.
Nick was in there too and he said, “Guys, I was thinking I would ask Veronica to go out with me… Can we go too?”
“Yeah, I’m not sure what we want to do yet though… I guess we’ll decide together” Joe said.
“OK we’ll see you when you get back” Kevin said.
I was so upset. I liked Kevin! And Jenny knew that! I guess I was going out with Joe though… but it was just because I couldn’t turn him down when he asked! I guess that could be what Jenny was thinking… I decided to call her when I got home. Joe came over then and said, “Ok let’s go.”
We walked out the door and got in the car. “Can I have Kevin’s and Nick’s numbers too?” I asked. Joe told me their numbers and I put them in my phone. The rest of the ride I was pretty quiet. We got to my house and Joe walked me up to my door.
“Bye, see you Friday” Joe said.
“Bye” I said. I stood there awkwardly for a second, but then my mom opened the door.
“Sarah! You’re home! Your dad and I need to go out so say goodbye quick! O and Jenny’s here” my mom said.
“OK, bye Joe” I said, walking inside. Phew, she saved me from an awkward hug… But Jenny was here? I guess I’d have to tell her about my date… this was getting more and more complicated every second. I went into my room and saw Jenny sitting on my bed. Uh-oh she looked angry.
“You’re going out with JOE?!?!” she said.
“Yeah, he asked me and I couldn’t say no, I’m so sor-” I said
“Yeah, ok I see” Jenny interrupted. “Well I have stuff to do.” She stomped out of my house.
What a mess! I didn’t get to ask her about Kevin but I figured she wouldn’t want to answer anyway. Kevin must have told them about the date in the car… before he asked her out… and now we were all going to go on a date together next Sunday! This would not turn out well… well Veronica would be happy at least. UGH! I sighed and flopped down on my bed.
“Sarah we are leaving!! Watch your brothers, and don’t forget to feed them!” my mom yelled as her and my dad left.
And now on top of this whole mess I had to watch my brothers! UGH!!!!

Chapter 7
***The next day***
Katie’s POV
Sarah really disappointed me. She introduced us to the Jonas Brothers and then she decided to date Joe. She knew how much Jenny liked him and that I liked him best, too, but she didn’t care. So I decided that we should jealous. After Kevin told us about Sarah and Joe’s date, we decided to get back at her. I knew she liked Kevin best (even though she was going out with Joe now) so I came up with a plan. I texted Jenny to start flirting with Kevin and he ended up asking her out. I said they should double date with Joe and Sarah (so that Sarah would see them flirting and get even more jealous). We hoped it would make her so jealous that she would break up with Joe. I thought that Jenny going out with Kevin would be the best, because she could pretend to like Kevin the best. We didn’t tell Veronica about our plan because she was dropped off before Kevin told us about the date. Today I was going to go with Kristin to the mall. We didn’t know what Joe, Sarah, Kevin, and Jenny were going to be doing, but we were planning on showing up at their date. So of course, we needed to find something fun to wear. And we had nothing else to do. I knew that Jenny and Sarah had family stuff they were doing that day, so it was just Kristin and I. We shopped all day and had so much fun! We got amazing outfits for the date crash and saw a movie. I saw this really cute guy that looked kind of like Cody Linley, but otherwise the mall had no cute boys! So disappointing… where were all the hot guys? :D. Our day was totally random and fun and got my mind off of the drama of the day before.
***The next day***
--Monday, although this section kind of covers the whole school week--
Kristin’s POV
Jenny, Katie, and I didn’t tell Veronica about our plan. She told us that Nick asked her out, and we didn’t want to bring her into the drama. We talked about our plan all week and even though we didn’t know what would happen (because we couldn’t really know how Joe and Kevin and Sarah would react); we thought we had the best plan we could think of.
Veronica’s POV
Yesterday, Nick had called me and asked me out! I was so excited about it still that I could barely pay attention at school today. The day passed by in a haze and I barely noticed anything. When I saw Sarah she looked frazzled… I thought that was strange, but I didn’t focus on it very well. The whole week passed by in a haze.
Sarah’s POV
On Friday and Saturday I was babysitting Frankie. I tried to avoid Jenny all week, and it worked pretty well since we are in different grades. I was swamped with homework all week, so it wasn’t hard to avoid her coming over to my house, too. I didn’t really notice any people all week. I was working really hard to try and take my mind of the drama, and when I wasn’t working my mind was on Jenny and Joe and Kevin…
Before I knew it, it was Friday. I got picked up by Mr. Jonas (not Joe or Kevin, thank god). He brought me to the house, jumped in the limo waiting outside and drove away. I walked up to the door and was greeted by Frankie. The babysitting was pretty uneventful, but I had a good time because Frankie is so fun. Babysitting on Saturday was the same way, and even though I was dreading seeing Joe, Kevin, and Nick, it was strange that I didn’t see them. Finally, it was Sunday. I was looking forward to it, and wishing it was already over. The boys were so amazing that even though I only hung out with them for one day, I felt empty. Well ok, I wasn’t really hanging out with anyone because of how guilty I felt but still. I still didn’t know what we were doing because I hadn’t seen Joe, but then I got a text from Joe.

so on our date we are playing laser tag but i dont really know how laser tag works... so i manipulated it to fit the story...

Chapter 8
It said:
we are gonna go play laser tag! we’ll be there in ten minutes!
Well that sounded fun… and the date would be during the day not at night like I thought (it was about ten to noon). I went and told my mom that I would be leaving to hang out with Veronica, Jenny, and the Jonas brothers in 10 minutes. I made sure I was ready and sat in my family room to wait. In a few minutes the doorbell rang. Somehow, my brother ran and answered it before me even though I was steps from the door. He started telling Joe how he thought they were cool and then he asked him, “So why are you going out with Sarah? She is soooo lame!”
“Ok that’s enough Thomas” I said pushing him aside. “We have to go. Bye mom!” I glared at Joe, who was still laughing, and we walked to the car. Well the limo! Joe stopped laughing and we got in the limo. It was all pimped out inside and it was totally awesome. I kind of ignored everyone else and started playing with all the different buttons near me. I put up the divider between us and the driver; I turned on the radio really loud, I got out a soda and poured it into a champagne glass (hehe), and I opened the roof. I was still trying to ignore everyone… so I stood up and stuck my head out of the roof. I had never done it before, but you always see people doing it in movies so I thought it would be fun. Then Joe stood up next to me and said, “We aren’t supposed to do this. Jeremy, our driver gets mad when we do.”
“Well then you must do it sometimes if you know he gets mad so its fine!” I said, “besides this is fun!” I laughed.
“Yeah, I can tell you are having fun” Joe said laughing. “Obviously the limo was a good choice.”
I laughed.
Jenny’s POV
Once Sarah and Joe stuck their heads out the roof, I texted Katie and Kristin. I didn’t know where we were going until they picked me up, so I told Katie and Kristin now. They were going to come and crash our date. We wanted to make Sarah totally jealous of me and Kevin and make her look like a fool to Joe. It wouldn’t really be hard to make her look stupid while playing laser tag. I knew she had never gone and played laser tag before and she was clumsy. Katie and Kristin told me they would come to the laser tagplace. They would be there about ten minutes after we got there. They would help me make Sarah look stupid. We were almost there, so Sarah and Joe sat back down. I glared at Sarah, but when she looked at me I smiled sweetly. I was trying to make her think I was over her dating Joe. To make her jealous, she had to think I wasn’t dating Kevin just because I was mad at her.
Sarah’s POV
I was sitting down again and I was happier now because Jenny didn’t seem as mad at me. Phew, this would be less awkward now that she wasn’t mad at me.
“We’re here!” Joe said. We got out of the car and we were at a place called the Ultrazone. We went inside and the boys told the people there that we were the private party for the day. They paid and we went inside. WE got our laser guns and put on our vests. I was totally nervous because the inside of the place was foggy and mazelike and I had never played laser tag before. It was totally intimidating, but I figured it would be fine. We decided to play with three teams; me and Joe, Jenny and Kevin, and Veronica and Nick. Just as we were about to go and start playing, three people came in to get gear on. I was confused because I thought we had it to ourselves, but then I saw that it was Kristin, Katie, and Zac. They said that they had come to play laser tag and they were about to leave when they heard there was a private party here. But then they saw us and told the people that they were in our party. I thought this was suspicious, but I didn’t put up a fight. We Katie joined my team, Kristin joined Kevin and Jenny’s team, and Zac joined Nick and Veronica’s team. They got their stuff and we went out to play.
“I’ve never played laser tag before…” I told Joe “so what exactly do I do?”
“Well, all you have to do is try to hit the other team’s members on the target on their vests” Joe said. “Have you played before Katie?”
“Yeah, I’ve played before” Katie said smiling.
“Ok, I’ll stick with Sarah and help her out” Joe said. “She doesn’t seem to be able to do anything well.”
“HEY! Well ok… I guess I can’t bowl either…” I said laughing.
Katie walked away and disappeared around a wall. “Just follow me” Joe said.
He walked around the same wall Katie had walked around and I followed him. We started going around in the foggy maze like place when I tripped. I looked around but I didn’t see what could have tripped me. “JOE!” I yelled. “Help!” Joe turned around and saw that I was lying on the ground. My vest thing was heavy and I couldn’t get back up.
Joe helped me up and said, “How did you fall?”
“I don’t know…” I said.
“So we have to deal with you being clumsy?” He asked.
“I guess” I said.
“This will be harder than I thought” Joe said.
We were walking around when Joe saw Nick and got him out. We kept walking around, but we didn’t see anybody. I fell three more times and I didn’t know why I kept tripping. I was totally confused, but I just kept following Joe. We turned a corner and I bumped into Joe. He had stopped suddenly and was staring at something. I looked around him and saw Zac and Veronica staring at something, too. In between us, on the floor, were Kevin and Jenny kissing!

Chapter 9
Jenny’s POV
I heard Sarah and Kevin coming, so I ‘fell’ and when Kevin reached down to help me up, I pulled him down and kissed him. He seemed shocked by the kiss. When I pulled away, he helped me up and stuttered, “Jenny… I…”
Zac whistled, interrupting what Kevin was going to say. “Dude, already making a move!!” Zac said, clapping Kevin on the back.
“Uh, yeah” Kevin said looking a little confused.
Then, Sarah ran off into the maze. YES! I got her jealous… but she seemed really upset… I hoped she was ok. Kevin ran after her, but then Joe went after him. I followed at a distance, leaving Zac and Veronica behind talking about the kiss. (Kristin and Nick both got out and Katie had disappeared in the maze)
Sarah’s POV
I felt like I was going to be sick. How could Jenny do that! I thought we were friends! I thought she knew how I thought Kevin was the best guy… and she just kissed him in the middle of a game of laser tag right in front of me. I guess I deserved it though; I took Joe away from her. UGH! I felt so bad… I decided to tell Joe the truth. It wouldn’t fix what just happened, but maybe it would help fix the mess. And I had to stop leading on Joe… I left the laser tag zone and stopped to wait for Joe, who was coming up behind me.
“Joe, I have to tell you something…” I said.
“What?” Joe asked.
“Well, when you asked--” I paused. “I don’t really--” then Kevin came up.
“Are you OK Sarah?” Kevin asked.
I looked at him. I couldn’t explain to Joe now that I liked Kevin… it would be too awkward. I sighed. “No I’m not feeling too well, do you think I could go home?” I asked.
“Sure, I’ll go tell the others we are going” Joe said.
“No, its fine, I’ll just call my mom” I said.
“Are you sure?” Joe asked.
“Yeah, I’m sure” I said. “Go back and play, tell them I said bye…”
Joe walked back to tell everyone I was leaving. I got out my phone to call my mom when Kevin said, “Do you want me to get you a cab and bring you home?”
“No its fine I’ll just call my mom” I said.
“Well, I’ll wait to make sure she can bring you home. If not I’ll call one for you” Kevin said.
“OK” I called my mom and it turned out she couldn’t come get me. Great… now Kevin was going to bring me home. This would be awkward… but I guess we were just meant to be friends. I told him I didn’t have a ride home, and he called a cab to get us so he could bring me home. He texted Joe saying he was bringing me home and we went outside to wait for the cab. It pulled up and he opened the door for me. I got in and he got in after me.
Kevin’s POV
“Thanks for bringing me home Kevin” Sarah said “it’s really nice of you.”
“It’s no big deal” I said. Sarah looked so sad. I didn’t know what was wrong and I wanted to tell her about the kiss, but I knew she was feeling sick and I didn’t want to bring it up. I sat there quietly thinking about what just happened. We got to Sarah’s house and I walked her to the door. When we got there I said, “I hope you feel better soon.” She was about to go inside when I grabbed her and gave her a hug…
Zac’s POV
Veronica was talking to me about how she thought Kevin shouldn’t have kissed Jenny like that on their first date. I interrupted her and said, “Yeah, but sometimes its like love at first sight and you can’t help yourself.”
“Yeah, I guess” Veronica said, “but still.”
“I was wondering, I know today is really a date between you and Nick, but do you think maybe we could go out together?” I said. I kind of liked Veronica, she was hyper, but sweet and cute and I had just broken up with Vanessa and wanted to get over her.
“I….” Veronica started to say.
Jenny’s POV
Joe came up and told me that Sarah was going home because she wasn’t feeling well. Since I just kissed Kevin and it didn’t sound like Sarah had dumped Joe, I didn’t want to make a move so I told him that I hoped she felt better and said we should probably restart the game. We texted everyone to meet at the beginning to restart, but Kevin texted that he was bringing Sarah home! We decided to take a quick break, and Joe and I were talking when Katie came over and started flirting with Joe. She made me so mad! I realized she only thought up the whole plan to try to get together with Joe herself! And now Joe thought I liked Kevin! What was I going to do?

Chapter 10
Kristin’s POV
During our little break before we restarted the game, I was standing with Nick, talking to him when we heard Veronica say, “Ok, I’ll go out with you Zac.”
“Cool” Zac said, “I know it’s a weekday but on Thursday the boys and I are going to a premiere, so would you go with me to that?”
“Sure” Veronica said.
I looked at Nick and saw that his face had fallen. I gave him a hug.
“I’m so sorry Nick…” I said.
“That’s ok, it was just one date” he said.
“Yeah, and I bet you have tons of girls lining up wanting a date” I said, thinking one of them was me.
“No, I don’t…” he said.
“Well, do you have a date for the premiere?” I asked.
“No…” he said.
“I’ll go with you” I said “if you want a date I mean.”
“Really?” he asked, smiling. “That would be awesome.”
YES!
Sarah’s POV
Kevin brought me home from the laser tag place, which was really nice of him, but I felt bad because I knew he was Jenny’s date and she was so upset with me. Then, when he gave me a huge hug at my house I pushed him away. It hurt, but I said, “You’re dating Jenny, you just kissed her, and we are friends. Even though I’m assuming that was a friendly hug, you shouldn’t hug me because I have a crush on you and might even love you, and I don’t want to do anything that is inappropriate when you are dating my friend. I made a mistake going out with Joe and not telling you sooner, but it is too late now. I have to go, goodbye.” I walked into my house feeling embarrassed and sicker than before.
Katie’s POV
I wasn’t sure what was going on with Jenny and Kevin and Sarah and Joe, but I was flirting with Joe during our break and the rest of the laser tag game. I was pretty good at laser tag and so was Joe, but we had fun pretending we were secret agents sneaking around corners like you do when you are a kid. It was a lot of fun, and I think Joe had as much fun as me. Afterward, when they brought us home, he walked me to my door and gave me a friendly hug. I was hoping that when Sarah and Joe fell through he would ask me out, but I didn’t want to get my hopes up or get Jenny off my side, so I just said goodbye and went inside.
Jenny’s POV
I was kind of upset that in making Sarah jealous, I had put Joe off limits for myself for now. Once Kevin came back, I couldn’t keep pretending that I liked him, so when he walked me to my door at my house, I decided to tell him the truth.
“Kevin, we need to talk” I said. “This whole date was just me trying to get Sarah jealous of us. I want to date Joe, and I was upset at her for taking him away from me. I don’t want you to be hurt, but I couldn’t keep lying to you. I’m so sorry.”
“That’s ok” Kevin said, “I’m sorry too, but I was upset that Joe asked Sarah out too when I asked you to go out with me and I felt lonely so I asked you out. But now Sarah thinks we are dating and just wants to be friends. She is sorry though. She said she made a mistake going out with Joe and didn’t even want me to hug her because she feels so bad about what she did.”
“What?” I asked.
“When I brought her home she said it was really me that she has a crush on and she felt horrible for going out with Joe when she knew you and Katie liked him, but now she doesn’t want to get close to me because she thinks we are dating” Kevin said. He sighed.
“I’m sorry Kevin… I knew she liked you and I used you and now I ruined your chances with her” I said.
“My chances with her… what do you mean? … I don’t like her” Kevin said.
“LIAR!” I said “you definitely like her. Don’t worry though; I’ll try to fix this.”
“Really? Thanks! I’ll try to help you with Joe” Kevin said smiling. He hugged me and said goodbye.
Now I had to think of a new plan to get Sarah and Kevin together. Sarah was probably going to be suspicious if I just told her the truth, so I had to figure out how to get them together. Kevin couldn’t just ask her out either because she thinks he is off limits… This was a dilemma that was going to be hard to fix. At least I had Kevin helping me with Joe though.

Chapter 11
Sarah’s POV
After I got home, I went to my room and cried a little. One I was uber embarrassed over what I said to Kevin, two I was losing my friends, and three I was leading on a great guy. But… was I leading him on? I mean I think I love Kevin but Joe is a great guy. I should just be happy that someone is taking an interest in me… besides if I told him I was really in love with his brother what would that do to him? I decided that if Joe wanted to date me more, then I would be the best date he ever had. I would be there for him and listen to his problems and try to make him happy.
OK, so all I had to do was not reject Joe… and stay away from Kevin… and be a better friend… this would be easy. Maybe.
***The next day***
It was Monday, and I had to go to school. I had to stay up late the night before finishing my homework, so I was tired and wanted even less to be at school. I had double frees in the morning, and I was thinking about how gross the school lunches are when Joe texted me.

Yay! I was excited… I hated the school lunches and they cost so much this year that it was a huge rip off. As I said, walking always takes too long and then there is no time to eat, and I can’t ride with my friends who can drive because none of them have the year for it to be legal to bring someone with them. Ok, obviously I have no life since my lunch matters so much to my happiness… but whatever! I decided to get lunch for KVJ (Katie doesn’t have the same lunch period as us) to get on their good sides again… I had three classes and then lunch came. Joe was there and I ran out to his car. I didn’t want to be late to class and I had to have time to get lunch for KVJ and eat my lunch too. We went up the street, got Panda Express, came back, and gave KVJ their sandwiches. Then Joe and I sat at a table by ourselves and started eating. We were talking about how they were going to a premiere on Thursday, their concert on Friday, and the concert KKVJ and I were going to on Saturday.
“Just promise me you won’t bring any of us onstage!” I said laughing.
“But that would be so fun! Haven’t you always dreamed of sitting on the stool and being sung to by the Jonas Brothers?” Joe said smiling.
“Well duh I have!” I said.
“Then why can’t we bring you up?” Joe asked, confused.
“Because now we know you guys and it would be awkward….” I said.
“Awkward or romantic?” he said.
“…both!” I said “with a bit of embarrassing thrown in!”
“So when do you have to go to class?” Joe asked looking around at the now empty tables.
“OMG!” I yelled. I grabbed his arm and looked at his watch. “Ten minutes ago!!! I’m going to be in huge trouble!” I grabbed my stuff and ran to class. Luckily I had pre-calculus and the classroom was right by the lunch area. As I ran to the door I yelled, “See you Thursday!”
“Bye!” Joe yelled walking out of the school.
Joe’s POV
I got in my car and drove away thinking that I hadn’t promised not to bring them onstage… oops… maybe I’d just have to bring her onstage to apologize for that I thought, I smiled to myself. And of course we would have to bring Katie, Kristin, Veronica, and Jenny onstage too.
Jenny’s POV
Kristin, Veronica, and I were all thankful that Sarah and Joe got us lunch. It was really nice of them, and we decided that Sarah felt pretty bad and we forgave her. Also… Kristin and Veronica had dates and I had Kevin helping me work on Joe. So that made us quicker to forgive, too. I had thought of a plan for Kevin, too. I thought it would be a good idea for him to kiss Sarah onstage at the concert… I mean he didn’t really sing in Hello Beautiful, so it would work out fine… We just had to figure out a way to separate her and Joe.
Katie’s POV
I was in class while the other girls had lunch, and I saw Sarah and Joe eating together. It made me so angry! Joe was mine! I had to find a way to get together with him… then it inspiration struck. I decided to that I would ask them to bring me onstage at the concert because I always wanted to be brought up there, blah blah blah… and then I would kiss Joe! Beforehand I would tell Sarah that Jenny was trying to break them up and then she wouldn’t be watching me. I would also tell her that when Jenny was flirting with Joe he said he didn’t really like her and was only still hanging out with her because he felt bad.
It was the perfect plan.
Kristin’s POV
At lunch, Sarah apologized to us for being a bad friend and brought us Panda Express. I wasn’t really mad at her, but I decided it was still nice of her and was pretty happy until Veronica got a text from Nick. It said:
Hey, Zac found out that Vanessa is going to be at the premiere and she is upset at him for breaking up with her, so you’ll need to watch out for her. And tell Kristin that Miley will be there too and she’ll be jealous… We are both sorry… but we can’t wait to hang out with both of you!

Chapter 12
Sarah’s POV
I ran into class and apologized to my teacher. I told her I was on a part of the campus where the bells weren’t working, so she wasn’t too mad. Our bells weren’t working too well because we had just finished construction, so it was a believable story and I didn’t get in trouble. The rest of the day was boring, and I got picked up by my carpool and dropped off at my house.
“Hey mom!” I yelled as I walked to my room “I’m going to go work on my homework.”
“Wait, I have someone here who says you were late to your class after lunch” my mom said.
“Oh, yeah, um, I didn’t hear the bell--” I said
“And you left for food” she interrupted.
“But I was back in time for class, I was just distracted” I said trying to explain.
“I know, Joe is here, he explained” my mom said, coming into the kitchen smiling.
“Oh, OK” I said, relieved she wasn’t mad. “Wait, he is here now?”
“Yeah” Joe said walking into the kitchen “I brought you the tickets and passes for the concert and I wanted to explain to your mom if you got in trouble.”
“Well… I didn’t get in trouble until you explained to her!” I said laughing. “Don’t worry mom, it won’t happen again. Thanks for the tickets Joe, bye.” I took the tickets from him, but he didn’t leave. “Are you waiting for something?” I said confused.
“Your mom said I could stay for dinner… if that’s ok with you…” Joe said.
“Oh sure, I have homework to do so do you want to hang out in my room while I work on it?” I said.
“That’s fine if you work on your homework in your room with Joe, but keep the door open” my mom said walking off.
“Ok” I said. OH NO! My room was a mess! Joe already knew about my JB posters, so I didn’t care about that, but I hadn’t made my bed that morning and I had stuff everywhere… “Hey Joe, why don’t you get us drinks from the fridge and a snack or something…” I said.
“Ok” Joe said.
I ran to my room and hurriedly cleaned up… I couldn’t do much in the few seconds, but there were no dirty clothes lying around anymore. Joe walked into the room and I sat down at my desk to work on my homework. “This shouldn’t take too long… you can listen to music or something.” I told Joe.
“OK…” he turned my CD player on. SOS started playing… wow embarrassing… Joe laughed and started singing along. “So, listen to us a lot?” Joe asked while he paused the CD after SOS.
“Yeah, it’s my alarm and stuff…” I said. I gave him my ipod and my ipod speakers so he didn’t have to listen to himself, and I finished working on my homework. I turned around in my chair and looked at him sitting on my bed. “So, I’m done with my homework now… what do you want to do?”
“What do you normally do when you finish your homework?” Joe asked.
“I go online… and surf the internet… or watch TV…” I said. “It’s pretty boring… do you want to play a video game or something?”
“OK, lets play a video game” Joe said.
“OK… how about Mario Cart Double Dash… it’s a racing game…” I said.
“OK” Joe said.
We went to the study (where we have books, a TV, our gamecube and games, and movies) to play. We played for a while and we both won about the same. It was pretty fun, and I had must say I did get pretty competitive… what can I say I love to win! :D Then it was dinner time. We ate and my parents talked to Joe about the concert and “his intentions” so embarrassing! After dinner, I walked Joe to the door and gave him a hug goodbye. He left and I went to watch TV. My dad told me he liked Joe, but he was still older than me so to watch out for him. I agreed seriously (but inside I was laughing) and I spent the rest of the night normally.
Miley’s POV
Vanessa and I were mad! We just heard that Zac and Nick had dates for the premiere on Thursday! We were hanging out at the mall and we decided to get really amazing outfits to try and get our boys back. I decided that if he didn’t decide to ask me to be his girlfriend again at the premiere, then I kiss him onstage at his concert on Saturday. I was already going to introduce them, so it was a good plan in my opinion.
Kevin’s POV
I was thinking about how to get Jenny and Joe together, when Jenny texted me.
(Jenny Kevin Kevin’s thoughts)
At the concert, bring Sarah onstage and kiss her during Hello Beautiful. I will separate her and Joe…
OK… well Jenny had her part of the deal down. Now I just needed a way to get Joe together with Jenny…
Ok. Are you busy Friday? If not, you should come to the concert and hang out with Joe. And I’ll tell him something that will make him want to break up with Sarah…
I hoped I could think of something good to say to Joe that would make him not like Sarah…
Sure, I can come.
Maybe I could just talk up Jenny… I decided to go with that. I went downstairs and found Joe.
“Hey Joe, what’s up?” I asked.
“I just got back from dinner at Sarah’s” he said.
“Was it good?” I asked.
“Yeah, her family is nice and stuff. Haha, she had our CD in her CD player…” Joe laughed. “So, what’s up?”
“I broke up with Jenny…” I said, acting sad “it seemed like she wasn’t really my type and we didn’t click…”
“Dude! I’m so sorry…” Joe said.
“Yeah, me too… but she was more… your type I guess” I said. I started talking up Jenny…
“Hey! I’m going out with Sarah man” Joe said. “I mean Jenny is nice and all… but I couldn’t do that to Sarah… And Sarah is awesome. She is so nice and fun… we were playing Mario---” Joe continued talking, but Kevin tuned him out thinking 'UGH! This would be harder than I thought.'

Kristin’s POV
Today was the day Veronica and I were going to the premiere. Since we had school all week we didn’t go buy anything new, so we decided to just wear dark skinny jeans and dressy-ish tops. I was just a premiere and not an awards ceremony, so we thought it would be OK. We got picked up right after school and went to my house to get ready. We got dressed, did our makeup and hair, and went to wait for the boys. Zac, Joe, Nick, and Kevin were coming to get us in a limo to go to the premiere. Soon, Nick and Zac came up to our door and walked us out to the limo. They were dressed pretty casually, too, so we decided our outfits were fine. We got in the limo and went to the premiere. We got out and we were walking along the red carpet. I was holding Nick’s hand (hehe!) and Vero and Zac were standing next to each other while photographers snapped our pictures. IT WAS CRAZY! The photographers were yelling for us to smile and look at them and I was so dazed. We finally got past all the photographers and we walked into the theater. We were in the lobby area talking before going in to see the movie when Miley and Vanessa walked up. They wore gorgeous dresses and they both looked stunning. My mouth dropped…
“Hey Nick” Miley said smiling flirtatiously.
“Hey Miles” Nick said “this is Kristin, my DATE.”
“Oh, hi Kristin” she said without looking at me “so, do you want to sit next to me?”
“No, I don’t really” I said (even though she was obviously talking to Nick). “I think Nick and I will be sitting together… on the aisle.”
“Hmph… well I’ll see you after the movie” Miley said walking inside. I didn’t think she would give up that easily, so I decided to stay on my guard. Nick and I walked over to Zac, Vero, and Vanessa.
Zac was saying, “I broke up with you Vanessa!!! Get over it! I have a date and I don’t want to date you anymore.”
“Yeah, I am his DATE, we are on a DATE, and we are DATING!” Veronica said, almost yelling.
“Don’t worry, it won’t be long before he breaks up with you and asks me out again” Vanessa said spinning on her heel and walking away.
“Well, looks like she won’t bug us anymore” Zac said. “Thanks for taking it so well Veronica” he smiled.
I was glad Vero and I both got through our face-offs with Vanessa and Miley. I wasn’t so glad that it looked like Vanessa was backing off and Miley wasn’t… Oh well. We all went inside to watch the movie. It wasn’t that interesting, but I was with Nick so it was OK. He put his arm around me and I leaned against him during the movie. Afterward, we all went back out to the limo and they drove us home. Veronica got dropped off at her house and Nick walked me up to my door.
“Sorry about Miley… she’ll be at the concert introducing us too, but I’ll talk to her” Nick said.
“UGH can we just not talk about her…” I said.
“Sure” Nick said. He gave me hug and then we stood staring at each other for a few seconds. He was looking into my eyes and I was starting to feel squirmy… when he leaned in and kissed me!
“Bye” He said after he pulled away.
“Bye” I said faintly. I walked into my house floating on a cloud…
Veronica’s POV
Zac walked me to my door and gave me a kiss goodnight. It was amazing! I went into my house and dreamed about the kiss all night.
(HEHE!)
Sarah’s POV
Babysitting Frankie was fun, but uneventful. The boys got back from the premiere and I rode home in the limo (alone). Vero and Kristin called me to tell me about their dates and I was happy for them. They had both gotten kissed and had the upper hand with Miley and Vanessa.
***Saturday***
**Concert Day**
Katie’s POV
We all went over to Sarah’s house to get ready for the concert. I was wearing my hottest outfit and I made sure to look nice. While we were getting ready, I pulled Sarah aside and told her I needed to tell her something.
“What do you need to tell me?” Sarah asked.
“Well… I was hanging out with Jenny at school yesterday… and she told me she was going to try to break up you and Joe tonight. She said that she has been flirting with him and he says he is only still with you because he feels bad…” I said.
“What?!” Sarah asked incredulously.
Then the doorbell rang and we were picked up by the boys since we were going to hang out with them backstage before the show. I sat next to Joe in the limo and we talked the whole ride. Sarah was sitting next to Kevin and giving Jenny dirty looks the whole time. Nick and Kristin were talking too. Zac wasn’t going to the concert, and Veronica and Jenny were talking on the ride. We finally got to the concert and we all piled out of the limo.

Chapter 13 (cont.)
The concert was at a six flags, so we decided to walk around a little bit beforehand.
Sarah’s POV
The concert was at six flags so we walked around beforehand. We had to have bodyguards with us so the boys didn’t get mobbed, but it was fun because we got to go to the front of lines. I don’t really like rollercoasters, so I sat out on the big roller coasters. On some of them Vero sat out with me.
Katie’s POV
Sarah and Veronica were sitting out on the rollercoaster, so I decided to buddy up with Joe. Jenny and Kevin were talking about something and Nick and Kristin were flirting so it was a perfect time. The line was pretty long so I was flirting with Joe for a while. We sat next to each other on the roller coaster and I held on to him on the drops. I asked him if they would bring me onstage and he said they were bringing all of us onstage to sing to so I would get to go up there. Perfect! After a while the boys had to go do sound check so we walked over to the concert area. The boys went on the stage and they were singing and testing all their instruments while we were on the side of the stage watching them.
Kristin’s POV
We were watching the boys do their sound check when Miley and Cody Linley walked up to where we were standing. I saw Katie’s eyes glaze over at his hotness. I smiled. I had noticed her flirting with Joe earlier and maybe now she would be more interesting in him… except he was with Miley… and she was probably going to go after Nick! My smile turned into a frown.
“Hi Miley” I said.
“Hi” she said smiling deviously. “You guys are watching the concert?”
“Yeah, we are” I said “Are you watching the concert?”
“I’m introducing them” she said.
“I see…” I said. I worried about what would happen, but I knew Nick liked me so I wasn’t too worried.

Chapter 14
Sarah’s POV
I noticed there was a lot of drama going on between Miley and Kristin, but Kristin walked away to get a drink so it didn’t turn into something serious. I watched the boys finish their sound check. Katie had started flirting with Cody, Vero and Miley were exchanging looks, and Jenny was talking with Kristin. We all didn’t really like Miley right now because she was trying to break up Kristin and Nick. Finally, the concert was getting ready to start. The boys went to a dressing room to get changed and we all walked out to our seats, except for Miley. We got seats in the front row since the rest of the crowd hadn’t been let inside yet. I was really excited for the concert to start because Jonas Brothers’ concerts are amazing and I have never been front row before. :D They let the crowd outside in, and it seemed like the temperature rose suddenly… it was hold already and all the bodies packed in made us start to sweat. Finally, Miley walked onstage and introduced the Jonas Brothers. The concert was starting! They came out with Kids of the Future and the concert was awesome. They got to Hello Beautiful, and they said they were going to pick 5 very special friends of theirs to come onstage. I sighed and thought back to when I asked Joe not to bring us up and realized he never said he wouldn’t. And of course that probably put the idea in his head. They picked us and we walked up onstage. They brought stools out for all of us. Kristin sat by Nick, Katie was next, then Jenny, then me, with Veronica on the end. Veronica just kind of hung out there, happy to be onstage but thinking of Zac. Katie was watching Cody in his seat still, and I saw Miley backstage watching. I sighed again. I pushed all the thoughts out of my mind for now and got swept up in the song.
At the end of the song, Kevin kissed me. I faintly heard Joe saying, “Sarah, will you--” but I was so happy and confused to be kissing Kevin that I tuned out the rest.
Veronica’s POV
At the end of the song, Kevin kissed Sarah! It was shocking, especially when Joe asked her to be his girlfriend and then got one planted on him by Jenny! Miley came in from the side at the same time and kissed Nick! It was pandemonium!

Chapter 15
Veronica’s POV
I grabbed Kevin’s microphone from its stand and said, “Can we close the curtains?”
The curtains closed and the crowd starting talking about what had just happened.
Joe and Jenny separated and looked at each other confusedly…
Kevin and Sarah continued to kiss, then Joe turned around and saw them and his face dropped.
Katie looked at me with a look on her face that said ‘OMG!’ I figured she was just glad that she hadn’t done something like what Jenny did because of how upset it made Joe.
Miley and Nick got separated by Kristin and she yelled, “What are you doing?!?!”
Sarah’s POV
All thoughts ran out of my head when Kevin kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kept kissing him. It was starting to be a full on make out session…
Veronica, still holding the microphone, interrupted us saying, “Sarah, Kevin!!! Stop kissing!!!”
I pulled out of the kiss, not willingly, but I did. I looked over and saw Joe looking upset. OH NO! I had gone back on my promise to myself to be the best date for Joe… I sighed, sat down on my stool, and closed my eyes. I put my hands over my face as I said, “Joe I’m so sorry. I kissed your brother… How could I kiss your brother?!?! When I’m dating you… I’m so sorry!” I started crying and sobbing as I said, “I’m so sorry, so so sorry, that was so horrible of me…” I couldn’t look at Joe or Kevin and I didn’t want to see my friends’ disapproving looks so I just sat there.
While I sat there I heard Miley saying, “He liked me first, you shouldn’t be with him, I am so much better for him!”
Nick replied, “Miley you need to back off. Kristin is my girlfriend.”
“I am?” Kristin asked looking at him.
He turned to her and said, “Will you be my girlfriend? I was planning on asking you… I even got you this.” He handed her a tiffany’s necklace that was silver with a heart.
“YES!” she said, taking the necklace and throwing her arms around him for a hug.
Miley stalked off angrily, mumbling to herself.
I focused again and thought back to earlier when I talked to Katie and said, “Joe, now you don’t have to be my boyfriend, and Jenny you can have him. I can’t believe you would ask me to be my girlfriend just because you felt bad.” I started crying harder because of how pathetic I must be for him to ask me out because he felt bad for me.
“But… I…” Joe said confusedly.
I looked up at Katie and said, “Isn’t that what you said Katie?”
She looked at me in horror and I looked at Joe who was confused, Jenny who looked undecided, and Kevin who looked sad. This wasn’t how I wanted the concert to go.
Veronica said, “Well, obviously we have a situation here. With all these misunderstandings and what not… but we also have a concert going on so lets just forget about it and get the concert done and then figure this out.”
I thought that it would be pretty hard for the concert to go on in the midst of this chaos, but Veronica ushered us off the stage and they pulled up the curtain. I decided to sit backstage since I was still crying a little, and I didn’t enjoy the rest of the concert very much. At the end the boys had to do a meet and greet, so we all went to the meet and greet room and sat in the back while they got set up at a table. We kept looking at each other, and I knew that we were all distracted. I didn’t know what would happen but I braced myself and we sat through all the fans coming through and murmuring about us. Finally, they were all gone and we sat down to talk. Well Kristin and Nick sat off to the side. But Jenny, Joe, Kevin, Katie, Veronica, and I sat down to talk, Cody and Miley left (but not before Cody and Katie exchanged numbers…).
