Chapter One: Something Strange...

Alex was at the mall with her friend Harper. They were lauging and talking when she saw Max. "Ugh. What is HE doing here?" Alex said sighing. Max was walking with his friends.
"I'm surprised he even has friends" Alex mumbled to Harper. Harper smiled. Alex saw some really cute shoes. "Ooh Look at THOSE!" she said pointing to the shoes. They lifted up and floated over to her. "H..How did you DO THAT?" Harper asked astonished. "I don't know" she pointed back to the stand they were on and they floated back. "Now that was just WEIRD!" Harper said. "Tell me about it" Alex said. "Let's go" Alex and Harper walked out of the mall. Harper went home and so did Alex. "Hey Dad" Alex said walking through the door. "Hey Alex" her dad said. He was under the sink working on something. "The strangest thing happend at the mall today. I pointed at something and it floated over to me. It was like...Magic" Alex said. "What? Magic? Yeah Okay Alex" he dad said TRYING to be cool.
"Dad, stop trying to be cool" her mom walked in without the doorknob turning. "H..How did you do that?" Alex asked.
