Hey guys! Ok, so this is my first fan fiction, so don't be cruel if it's horrible! =]
Here's what it's about:
I (Aqua) and my best friend Heather go to a JB concert about a week before Christmas. I won backstage passes for us in a concert on Radio Disney, so after the show we went backstage and hung out with the guys for a while. They thought we were pretty cool, so we exchanged phone numbers and planned to get together again sometime. It’s now the summer after that Christmas.
Btw, we're pretending that their cd isn't out yet, so no one has heard any of their new songs.
Chapter 1: The Cute, Funny One
Me/Heather/Nick/Joe/Kevin
"Come on Heather! Hurry up! We're going to be late! The guys are picking us up in a few minutes!"
"Alright, alright, I'm coming. It takes a long time to make myself beautiful.”
“You just want to show off for Nick.”
“No, I just like being beautiful. And I want to show off for Nick.”
“Now how did I guess that?”
*Horn honks*
"That's them. Let's go."
We went outside and saw the limo waiting for us in front of my house. We got inside. I sat between Joe and Nick, and Heather sat between Nick and Kevin. She blushed when Nick turned to look at her and said Hey.
"Hey girls. How's it goin’? You didn't get mobbed on your way out did you?"
"Why would we get mobbed?"
"Yeah Kev, why would they?"
"You guys never get any of my jokes."
"That's because I'm the cute, funny one. You're the cute romantic one. That says nothing about being funny."
“Well maybe I could be both.”
“I don’t think so. Maybe when your jokes actually make sense.”
We all started laughing hysterically.
The guys took us to a fancy restaurant in downtown L.A. The whole way there Heather stared at Nick. When we first got out of the car at the restaurant, no one noticed us, but that soon changed. After a few seconds a girl about 14 years old yelled, "OH MY GOD IT’S THE JONAS BROTHERS!" 3 seconds later, Heather and I got pushed aside while the guys got mobbed. We just stood there and laughed while they tried to keep up with the crowd of people asking for autographs and pictures. Finally, they broke free and we hurried into the restaurant. Nick started telling funny stories, and we were all laughing and having a good time, but after a few minutes I looked over and saw that Joe looked really upset. He wasn't laughing or anything, he just stared at the table. I decided I'd ask him what was wrong later. Once we all finished eating, we decided to go to the guy's house. Once we got there we all gathered in Kevin's room. I noticed that Joe was gone.
"Hey where's Joe?"
"I don't know. He was here a second ago."
"I'll go look for him."
I walked to his door and saw him sitting on his bed with a keyboard, notebook, and pen. He was mumbling what sounded like song lyrics.
“When you look me in the eyes and tell me that you love me...”
I ducked around the corner, but still stayed to listen.
“Everything’s alright when you’re right here by my side. When you look me in the eyes I catch a glimpse of heaven. I find my paradise when you look me in the eyes.”
I waited a few seconds, and then walked in.
“That was beautiful Joe. Is that a new song?”
He quickly put the notebook behind his back and shoved it into a drawer.
“Uh, yeah. It’s called When you Look Me in the Eyes. It’ll be on the new cd.”
“Coolness. Hey, why don’t you come to Kev’s room? We’re all hanging out in there.”
“You go ahead. I’ll be there in a while.”
“Joe, you know if there’s something bugging you, you know you can tell me anything right?”
“Yeah, I know.”
“So, is there something bugging you? You looked upset at the restaurant.”
“No I’m fine. I was just thinking about some things.”
“Oh, ok.”
I started to leave the room.
“No, wait. There is something bugging me.”
I went back and sat on the bed next to him.
“What is it?”
“Well...”
