I know that there have been photos circling the internet today. I had NO intention for anyone to see those! The photos were taken when I was sixteen. Sometimes when people are young, they make stupid decisions. I thought it was safe on my cellphone, but somehow someone got a hold of my phone and leaked the images on the internet for money. Now that I am 18, I realize that I have to be careful, and my lawyer is helping me to rid of the overly exaggerated incident. This has been a big learning experience for me and I know that nothing like this will ever happen again.

Please ignore all rumors stating that I have been fired from Disney Channel and that my character in High School Musical 3 will be replaced. For those of you who know about my relationship with Zac Efron, we are still together. None of those pictures were taken by him, or by anyone for that matter. He is a good man, so please don't put him to blame.

I have to ask that you please keep the news a secret, but I just wanted to appologize to anyone who had come across the images. To all of the parents' out there, I am unbelievably sorry if I affended you or your children. I know that I am someone that younger kids look up to now. I hope that you understand that being under the public eye as an actress, it's hard to keep your private life private. If you see anyone with the images, please inform them with this message. Other than that, I would like to keep the whole insident under-wraps to help protect my career as an actress and vocalist. Thank you for reading my bulletin.

I love the bold paragraph. First thing, I know that vanessa is definitely in HSM3. Second thing, she finally said she is with Zac. Third thing, the picture were not taken for Zac.

What I want to say is the same as what Nichole said. She was being responsible and admitted what had happen. That's the most hardest thing anyone can do if you were someone who is known to the whole world.

And also, she wasn't famous when the pictures wre taken. How could she possibly know that she would be famous today?

She wasn't a big star, she had a huge crush on zac and wanted to get his attention so she took the photos. She is way grown-up now. She is 18, alot has changed since then. Trust me vanessa is still a very good role model for kids. I hope that people can just forget about this whole scandal and just leave her alone.

Im 15, I would never do that to get a boys attention. never ever ever! But I dont think she is role model, although she claims a lot has changed, I would not want my kids seeing that kind of person as a role model

^^^^you make a really good argument but i am still going to support vanessa becaz i know that she has changed since she was 16. She now thrives herself on being a role model for kids at the age of 18 and not many stars do that. so i am still going to support her.

I sure wish she never had taken those pictures, especially at 16, but I feel her pain. In real life, she is a really sweet girl and even she's not perfect. We all make mistakes from time to time. And I'm glad that she took responsibility for her actions.

With that said, I will still show a lot of love and support for V. And I wish her the very best for the future.

You know what, I never liked Vanessa, but now, I've gained so much respect for her.
She proved that she makes mistakes just like the rest of us and she owned up to it.
I think that shows courage when you do something like what she did and you're able to stand up for yourself and admit you were wrong.
