Chapter 1: Hi?!

Miley was watching TV, and heard a knock on the door. She opened the door and saw a guy standing there. "Hi. Uhm...your mail order is 776589, please sign this receipt and youll be done." Miley looked at him confused. "Just sign" he said nervously. Miley looked at the box. There was something wrong. "This isnt my address, you have the wrong one" "Oh sorry, but hi Im Tyler and Im new to the town just tryin to find a job -- am I talking to fast?" "Yeah, umm hi, well my dad said not to talk to strangers" she slammed the door on him. She knew he was trying to make a move, and she thought he was cute and all, but since Oliver...she couldnt even think past that. Her dad came down the stairs "Who was that?" he asked. "Some boy" Miley said. Robby sat at the table and fixed himself some ice cream "Well lets hope its not one of them actors again" Robby said with a mouthful of ice cream in his mouth as Miley laughed.

Chapter 2: The Beach

Lilly and Miley are at Ricos sipping sundaes when Miley recognizes the boy who gave her the wrong mail -- Tyler. He was holding a surfboard and waving at Miley. "Ahh! Hide me please Lilly." Lilly quickly put her hands over Mileys eyes. "Thanks" Miley said sarcastically. Tyler came over and looked into Mileys face. "Hey, youre the girl I sent the wrong mail too right?" "Nope...*She coughs and makes a deeper voice* Bob...long hair...Bob" "Uhm...okay..." "See Miley? I told you he wasnt gonna find out!" Lilly said loudly. Tyler turned back around and put down Lillys hands. "Miley...thats a pretty name" he said. "Thanks" Miley said, flirting. "I mean...uhh" Miley said, snapping back to reality. "So...Miley you wanna go...to the...the beach bash with me?" Tyler asked, looking for a yes "No." Miley said and turned around. "So thats a no?" Tyler said. "Yeah" Miley said. "Yes?" Tyler said. "No I didnt say yes I said no!" Miley walked off with Lilly. "What is your problem?" Lilly said. "You just turned down that guy like your favorite smoothie or something!" Lilly said.
"Well ever since Oliver I am backing off from guys for good" Miley said. She headed for home, alone.
Lilly stood with her mouth gaping wide open.

Lilly followed Miley as she headed home. "I cant believe youre just gonna let something, someone, get in your way of your life. Nobody should be stopping you!" "But...Oliver..." "Oliver what? Get over it Miley!' "Youre saying the exact same thing. I KNEW YOU DIDNT CARE ABOUT HIM!" Miley yelled at Lilly. Lilly had tears in her eyes again as she ran off. Except this time Miley didnt feel bad about it. Miley knew Lilly didnt care. She never did.

Miley was at the Beach Bash, alone. She was walking around in a really pretty dress, she looked beautiful. Lilly had stopped "I do care...and Im sorry" "Im sorry for blowing up like that" they hugged once again. She saw Amber dancing with Tyler. "Its okay Miley, youre too good for him anyways" Lilly said. Lilly and Miley danced together and had lots of fun. Tyler and Amber were dancing, and Tyler spotted Miley. He got dazed by her, and walked over to her. "No, this doesnt feel right...I have too leave, lets go Lilly" Miley said, she grabbed her bag from a table and grabbed Lillys arm, who was drinking a smoothie. "I have to pay!" Lilly said. She used all her might too put a 5 dollar bill on the counter of Ricos. Then she freely let go and followed Miley all the way to her house.
Tyler just looked at them, leaving, puzzled, pretty happy.

"Miley, weve been over this before! You couldve had major lip lock! Why is it so wrong to kiss a guy!?" Lilly asked. Lilly just didnt understand how Oliver was so important to Miley. "I feel like Im betraying Oliver when I do this. Hes my one love...and now hes gone...but I have to remember him. Im afraid that Ill forget him." "Hello? Its called multithink!" Lilly said. That wasnt even a word, but Miley thought it was funny. Then, she heard a knock on the door. Miley opened the door, and saw Tyler. "What do you want from me?" Miley said. She was getting a little irritated with Tyler, but for some reason she couldnt help but like him back. He was nice and cute. What was she saying? She shuddered at the thought of liking anyone but Oliver. She had to hold back for good.
"Well, um you dropped one of your shoes, or high heels, so I though I would return it" he said uncomfortably again.
He closed the door and walked away, while Lilly was about to say something. Miley replied faster "Shh." she said, holding her finger up to Lillys mouth, then walked up the stairs as Lilly followed.

Miley and Lilly were talking about stupid stuff when the phone beeped. There was someone on the other line. Miley told Lilly to hold on and she switched to the other line. "Guess who?" the person said "Tyler" Miley said. "How did you know?" Tyler asked, like he really didnt know how she knew. "Just a guess" Miley said sarcastically. "So...I know you think Im a stalker but I really like you...can you meet me at the beach? I need to ask you something?" "Sure" Miley said sarcastically. She told Lilly she had to go and hung up. She put on an overcoat and slammed the door, and left to the beach

It had already been 30 minutes. I mean, Miley knew it was cool to be fashionably late, but this was just stupid. "What a jerk" Miley said. Maybe he got lost. Miley started to look around and she still couldnt find him. What if it was a joke? What if his friends tried to make this all up? Oh no, they werent pulling it on Miley. She tried to look around more and call out Tylers name lots of times. But nobody responded. Then she heard something...like...she had never heard before. It would silence then it would do it again and again. She called out "Anyone" and still no one answered. Miley was stressed and frustrated. Miley had finally found where the sound was coming from. She heard it in the back of Ricos. She looked back and had her mouth wide open in terror.
It was Tyler kissing Lilly.

Miley was really mad at everyone, everything, when she felt a tap on her shoulder. "Hi Miley" the person said. "Wait, you were -- just there *points at other guy*" Tyler laughed, Miley was confused, and Lilly wasnt doing anything. "Thats my twin, Josh, he likes Lilly, and apparently Lilly likes him back." "How do I know you guys are twins?" "Well first of all he looks exactly like me, and I would never kiss...Lilly" he said disgustingly. "Hey!" Lilly said, crossing her arms. Josh pushed Tyler back "But I would" then Josh and Lilly kissed. "Okay now I get what youre sayin" Miley said. "Bye everyone, me and Josh are gonna go out to eat", and as they left, Miley and Tyler were alone.

Miley was sitting on the couch, crying, with a bowl of popcorn. She had already gotten a million calls from Tyler, and she couldnt handle the phone ringing so much.
Miley thought in her head:
She could never forgive him...but wait? Wasnt she overreacting about this just a little bit? I mean, he didnt mean anything intentional. Right? Miley started to wonder if she liked him as much as he liked her...no, that couldnt be right. She would always love Oliver, dead or not. But wouldnt Oliver want her to let go? No. She could never let go. But...Miley started to think all the times Tyler and her have had this past...week or so. But still, he was a great guy...no. Stick to Oliver. But hes gone! She cant spend time with him even if she tried! But she can spend time with Tyler all she wants...
Should she go for it? Or should she hold back like she promised?

Lilly knocked on the door, and as Miley opened the door, she also opened her mouth wide. She gasped in terror of how Lilly had looked. She had a bruise and some cuts on her face. She was sobbing as she came and hugged Miley. She was also wet. "What happened?" Miley asked, worriedly. "He got me!!! He got me!!! Make him stop!!!" Lilly screamed and Miley thought she was going delusional. Miley made Lilly sit on the couch and tell her what happened. "Well, we went out, you know, on the drive, and suddenly, he punched me. I thought it ww-was a j-j-oke and then he stopped the car and he abused me Miley! He punched me and kicked me and it hurt, it did. Him and his friends came sneaking up on me and poured water all over me and hit me and-- I liked him! Im so afraid of him now" Lilly said, crying. She had been stumbling over her words so Miley knew she was afraid. Miley hugged her and Lilly held on tight. "Ive got to do something about this" Miley said, shaking her head.

Miley and Lilly were sitting on the edge of Mileys bed. Miley dialed Tylers number, praying he would answer it. "Hello?" Tyler asked. "Hey its Miley. Meet me at the beach. NOW. And bring Josh with you" and she dramatically hung up right after she said it. Miley picked up Lilly because she was too wounded to walk. Miley couldnt believe what Josh had done to her. Miley had walked out to the beach, with Lilly, and set her into a chair. Miley saw two guys walk up to her about 15 minutes there. It was Tyler and Josh.

Chapter 16: The Big Fight

Lilly had enough power to stand up and smack Josh. "What did she do that for Miley?" Tyler asked. "Your stupid twin brother abused my best friend. Look at all those scratches!" "Well that isnt my fault!" Tyler said. He was getting really snippy with Miley and she didnt like it. Josh pushed Lilly back. Lilly socked him in the face and made his nose bleed. "Thats for abusing me!" Lilly said. Josh was holding his nose while his brother tried to help him. "What are you doing?" Miley asked. "Youre supposed to be helping Lilly! Its all his fault anyways!" "Okay when it comes to my brother, it doesnt matter about girls!" Tyler said. "You are NOTHING I thought you were!" Miley said, yelling. "I shouldve never trusted you. I shouldve never liked you at all! I regret everything with you!" Miley said. Those words hurt Tyler. His brother stood up and picked up Lilly and threw her down on the ground. Miley finally got some courage. She slapped Tyler in the face. Suddenly Josh and Lilly were yelling at each other and smacking and kicking and Miley couldnt keep track. Tyler tried to break them up. "Help?" He said. How in the world could I ever like a guy like him? Miley thought. Tyler couldnt break them up and neither could Miley. Suddenly, all 4 of them heard police sirens. The police car drove up on the beach and saw Josh beating up Lilly. The cops got out of thier cars and grabbed ahold of Josh and handcuffed him and put him in the car. "JOSH!" Tyler screamed. The police told everyone to clear out the area. Lilly had collapsed to the ground, getting beat up so badly. The ambulance had already came and put her on a stretcher and taken her away. Tyler and Miley were standing alone again. But this time they walked away in separate directions.

Chapter 17: Hospital

Miley was at the hospital. It made her sad Lilly had been at the hospital twice in 3 months. And one of them was because of Josh. Miley started to cry because it had been an hour since Lilly hadnt opened her eyes. Lilly opened her eyes and she got out of bed and started punching the air. She was hallucinating. Miley told her to lay on the cot, and she did so. She had huge band-aids on her, and had medications running through her body. Lilly couldnt even talk. Mileys phone rang, but she didnt hear it. Then the voice mail vibrated and rang. Miley could feel that. She motioned Lilly '1 sec' and heard her voicemail:

Hey Miley, Its Tyler. And you were right. I am a jerk for caring more about my brother when he was the cause of all that happened. Im sorry and if you dont forgive me, I understand. Miley felt the wind on her heels as she ran faster and faster to the boat they were on...she could spot Tyler with luggage and everything. She thought she couldnt get there fast enough. She ran faster and faster. She couldnt let go of him. Not yet. She wanted him. She finally realized she could move on. This was her life. Not Olivers. She loved him. She loved Tyler. And she wasnt gonna let him go this easily. She knew how to put up a fight.
She finally got to the boat [[the cruise boat]] and ran up the steps quickly enough. She cut through everyone in line to get to Tyler.
"Tyler! Wait! Dont Leave!" she yelled.
