Hey guys I am getting a new laptop for christmas this year and I am searching for new releases and the lastest laptops so tell me what kinds you have and what kind you want and if you have any info on electronic like anyhting!!!!!!!!!Lets chat!

I got a MacBook last year, BEST COMPUTER IN THE WORLD.
I love it, it comes with everything you need. You don't need to go out and get other programs. Built-in webcam and microphone. Dvd burner (if you get the more expensive model.. but a good investment coz I like to make cds for projects.. etc). Garageband is really fun to play with, and photo booth is heaps of fun on like sleepovers and stuff.
The interface takes a little getting used to, the dock and stuff, but it's really easy to use after a while.
Be a good idea to get one after October, coz they're releasing the next OS Leopard then, and I don't think your parents wanna pay an extra $200 straight away.
On my macbook I have windows installed so I can use windows if I need it, because not everything is compatible with Mac.
Another limitation is that it doesn't come with a drawing program, so you'll need photoshop or a similar program. I also have one called ArtRage.
And you need iWork, especially if you're doing projects. I think it's $80 but you know...
But overall it's the best computer I've ever had.

To above: you can't get pink apple laptops?? or do you mean a case for it...

I'd go with HP, if you live in the US, I suggest browsing newegg.com for some good deals, and you might wanna check the specifications too

macbook is the best...as well for graphics..mine come with Photoshop..but i dont use it...

Unless you're a gamer, you don't really need a high end laptop or desktop. Get like a HP one, and avoid Toshiba. My sis' laptop broke down after less than half a year. Or get like a Vaio, I love the colors and it's good quality.
