Where do these numbers come from? As far as I can tell they aren't on billboard.com yet.

But assuming these numbers are accurate it's not really surprising, she's more famous now compared to when the first soundtrack was released. I'm just surprised Kelly Clarkson managed to sell that many.

billboard hasnt updated and these numbers are wrong!!!!!!! they havent been adjusted for the whole week...hitsdailydouble.com has said this and they said both kelly and miley have sold over 300 thousand copies...with Hannah/miley still being number one tho!

hitsdailydouble.com said that they only have 56.78% of sales reported so far...so the margin could increase or decrease once more numbers come in between miley and kelly....but Miley should still come out on top!

This is still Kelly's best opening week of sales for any of her albums and "Breakaway" has sold over 3 times as many copies as the first Hannah soundtrack....so Miley STILL needs support as Kelly surely still has some legs as the reviews for "My December" are actually coming out very positive.

That's not actually something to be happy about, the publicity there usually is bad. Though as they say there is no thing as bad publicity. The latest post on TMZ.com about Miley about a week ago was about as pointless as they can get.

But this is a good opening week, if it will stay this way is something only time will tell. The first one made triple platinum, there's still a long way to go until she reaches that.
