Jake Issues. Volume 1. Chapter 1.


At Houses:


Miley: *On the phone-3 way-with Lilly and Oliver* I just don't know what to do!
Lilly: Just tell him!
Oliver: Psh, thats so stupid Lilly! Miley can't tell Jake she still loves him! She just broke his heart!
Lilly: OLIVER!
Miley: *crying* Gosh, I'm such an idiot! I still do like Jake alot!
Lilly: Miley, but he was such a jerk...
Miley: I know, but then he..you know..changed!
Oliver: Yeah, we think..
Miley: Whats that supposed to mean?
Lilly: Yeah, Oliver, what IS that supposed to mean?
Oliver: Who knows, guys? I mean, Jake might have just said that stuff!
Miley: I don't think...
Lilly: *talking away from the phone* Fine, mom! I have to go guys, my mom says I have to study.
Oliver: I forgot! Big biology exam tomorrow!! I should go too. Sorry, Miles.
Miley: It's fine. I should probably try to study too. I just am so confused.
Lilly: We'll talk tomorrow at school, OK?
Oliver: Yeah, you don't have to decide now.
Miley: Yeah... *sounds sad*
Lilly: Don't think about it too much. Ok? Just focus on biology tonight. *to herself* Never thought I'd say that!
Miley: *chuckles*
Oliver: Okay, bye guys!
Lilly: Bye.
Miley: Bye.
All: *hang up*

Later that night...Miley is in her room sitting on her bed, reading.

Miley: *thinking* What am I going to do?
Miley drifts off to sleep, barely studying at all.

Jake Issues. Volume 1. Chapter 2.


Miley woke up to the sound of her alarm clock, blaring in her ears. Ughhh, she thought. What time is it? She glanced around the room, forgetting that there was a clock right by her bed. She finally found the clock. " Ohmygosh! It's 7:30!!!! School starts in 25 minutes!!!!" Miley almost screamed. "Daddd-eyyyyy!!!"

*Later that day, at school in cafeteria*

"Hey Miles." Lilly said as she spotted her friend, almost sleeping at the lunch table. "Whhoooahh, tired much?" She remarked. "Lilllyyyy!" Miley said in a warning tone. "Sorry, just kidding..." Lilly apologized. "Me too, its just, I didn't get ANY sleep last night." Miley explained. "Thinking about Jake again?" Lilly asked, with a good-natured tone. "Yes. And I can't get him off my mind. Yeah, he was a jerk, but he totally changed." Miley complained. "Miley," Lilly started, sitting down next to her and lifting Miley's head to look her in the eyes. "You are an amazing girl. If Jake is too stupid to see that he was a jerk, and that he broke your heart, he doesn't deserve you." She said. Miley smiled slightly and then said, "Thanks Lilly, you always know what to say." ( Like in I can't make you like Hannah if you don't ) Lilly smiled, and pulled Miley by her hands to a standing position. She (almost) dragged Miley to a nearby empty water fountain. "Miles, you are teen pop sensation, Hannah Montana, you are totally famous, but still find time for your fans. You are an amazing singer, but you still are soo sweet and know how to be a normal person." Lilly said, with a gentle smile on her face. "If Jake doesn't know how to balance out his life, thats his problem."

*The bell rings and they run off to class*

"Oh, really?" Says a mystery person, emerging from the vending machine area.

*At home, Friday night, Oliver is at Mileys house.*
**The TV is on a scary movie, and Oliver is practically in Mileys lap.**

"Oliver! ITS A MOVIE! Calm down, OK?!? We have bigger things in life to worry about!" Miley yells. "Gosh, sorry, its just, the movie...its so..." Oliver trembled. "Scary?" Miley offered. "Yeah." Oliver answered. "So much for you being a big tough man." She says, quietly. "Hey! I am a big tough man. Why are you so grouchy tonight? You aren't usually like this." Oliver asks, a little offended. "Take a wild guess, you donut." Lilly says, entering Mileys house. "Jake again?" Oliver asks. "Wow, Miles, we have a genuis in our presence!" Lilly remarked, sarcastically. "I know..sometimes he's so.." Miley began, but stopped, not wanting to hurt his feelings.Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. They all jumped at the same time. "Who in the world would knock on your door at - *lilly looked at the clock* - 11:00 at night?" Lilly wondered out loud. Miley jumped up to answer the door. When she opened it, there was the person she had least expected to see standing there.

When she opened it, there was the person she had least expected to see standing there.

"Jake! And, Rachel? I thought you broke up!" Miley said, seeing Rachel latched on to Jakes arm like...latches. "Well, we did. But since you don't like me anymore, I thought, Rachels a cool girl." Jake said, meanly. "Uh-oh." Lilly said aloud. "Lilly, it's fine." Miley said, spinning around to give Lilly a warning face. Lilly closed her mouth immediately. "Thats...Thats...great." Miley forced herself to say. "But, Jake, don't you have a big movie coming up? Will you even get time to spend with each other?" Oliver asked, curious. "I'll find time." Jake said. "He knows how to balance out his life." Rachel said, looking straight at Miley when she said it. If Jake doesn't know how to balance out his life, thats his problem. She remembered Lilly saying. Oh no! She thought. If Rachel heard that, what else did she hear? "So, Jake, did you come here for a reason, or just to show off Rachel?" Oliver asked. "Oh yeah, we wanted to tell you guys that me and Jake are going to a big party after the premiere tomorrow." Rachel said. "We did?" Jake asked, looking at Rachel. "So?" Miley asked. "Well, if you wanna come, you can. But you need dates." Rachel said. What is she planning? Miley wondered. "Oooh! Sounds like fun!" Oliver exclaimed. "I wanna go to a big Hollywood party!" Lilly said. Miley turned to give Lilly a look. You go to parties with Hannah all the time. She thought. Lilly knew what Miley was thinking. "I know, but wouldn't it be fun?" Lilly pleaded. "Fine, but we need dates." Miley said, tight-lipped. "Great! We'll see you there!" Rachel said and pulled Jake away. "Oooh sounds like fun!" Lilly said, imitating Oliver.
"Guys! What am I gonna do!?" Miley cried. "Just get a date!" Oliver said. "How are you gonna get a date?" Asked Miley. "I'll take Lilly." Oliver said. "Ewww! Gross!" Lilly said. "Come on, it's just for tomorrow night. I can't get a date any other way!" Oliver said. Miley and Lilly giggled. What about me though? Miley wondered. "Ask Sam!" Lilly exclaimed. "Samm...??" Miley said, forgetting who he was. "Oh yeah, Sam from Biology class!" Oliver said. "He is soo cute and I hear he likes you!!!" Lilly practically jumped up and down. "You would be cute together. "But I like Jake!" Miley said. "We know, we know..just go with Sam, and make it a one time thing. Like when..." Oliver began. "You want me to use him?!" Miley asked. "No. Not again." She said. "Just go with him. You'll have fun. He's a great guy. And who knows, maybe you'll end up liking him instead!" Lilly convinced Miley.

*On the phone with Sam*
"Hey, Sam. It's Miley Stewart." Miley said into the black phone. Lilly sat at the table, watching Miley talk to Sam. Oliver was raiding Miley's fridge. "Oh, hey , Miley!" Sam said happily. "I was wondering if you would like to go to one of Jake Ryan's premiere parties with me...as my...date." She asked. "Yeah, I'd love to go. When is it?" Sam replied. Miley gave him the time and the place. He said he would pick her up at 7:30. Miley hung up the phone. "So?" Lilly asked. "Yeah, so?" Oliver mumbled, food stuffed in his cheeks. "We're going together." Miley said. "Yay!" Lilly exclaimed. "I know, he's really sweet, its just I still really like Jake. Or Lesley. Or whoever the good one is." Miley said, with a sad face, sitting in the chair next to Lilly. "I know." Lilly said. "Just try to foget about him." Oliver said, food spilling out of his cheeks. "Oliver! Swallow!" Both girls said. "Lets go to the mall tomorrow, we can get new outfits for the party." Lilly said, hoping to get Mileys mind off Jake. "Ok." Miley said.

Where we left off:

"Lets go to the mall tomorrow, we can get new outfits for the party." Lilly said, hoping to get Mileys mind off Jake. "Ok." Miley said.

Lilly and Miley walked through the mall, arms linked together. Miley had a sad look on her face. "Sooo....wanna stop here?" Lilly asked. "Sure." Miley replied gloomily, without even lifting her head to see which store it was. "Miley! Snap out of it! This is a gag gift store. Come on! Be happy!" Lilly said, putting her fingers on the corners of Mileys mouth, lifting them into a smile. Lilly let go and miley's smile drooped into a frown again. "Miley. Don't ruin our fun mall day over Jake. OK?" Lilly pleaded. "Plus, we have to get outfits." She added. "Yeah, sorry." Miley said, but not cheering up much. "I know just what will make you smiley miley again! A Jumbo Mocho Latte with chocolate chips!" Lilly said, pulling Miley to the Ice cream store in the food court. Miley and Lilly drank their lattes in silence. A couple minutes after finishing hers, Miley cleared her throat. "Lilly, I'm sorry. I shouldn't ruin our time together. Not even over Jake Ryan. I've been such a downer lately." Miley apologized. "It's OK, Miley, really." Lilly said. "No. It's not. We're gonna have fun today, and we're gonna have fun tonight at the party." Miley said, standing and smiling. They shopped for three more hours, found great outfits for the party,new shoes, two Hannah outfits, one Lola outfit, and a gag gift for Oliver.

*Later at Lilly's house, getting ready in her bathroom, they had went to Lilly's house after the mall.*

Miley was wearing a casual spaghetti strap black babydoll dress over some cute jeans. She had on cute white flats. Her hair was in an updo, with loose curls hanging on the sides. Lilly was wearing a casual blue kimono dress. (Kind of like this (http://www.teenidols4you.com/picture.html?g=Actors&pe=vanessa_anne_hudgens&foto=554&act=583&mv=4&pic=107879) only in blue) She also had on a cute pair of jeans and some cute blue flip flops. Her hair was down, with some random curls around her head. The girls looked over their appearances and walked downstairs. They had Lilly's mom drive them back to Mileys house, where Oliver and Sam were supposed to meet them. They walked into the house and sat on the couch to wait. Finally, after what seemed like forever (but was only 5 minutes), the boys showed up. Sam first, then Oliver. When they were almost about to leave, the phone rang. "Hello?" Miley answered it. "I just want you to know, that tonight at the party, everyone is going to know your secret. Little Miss Popstar." Said a familiar voice. "Who is this?!" Miley demanded. The person hung up. "What was that about?" Asked Sam. "Oh...nothing." Miley said. "I just need to talk to Lilly and Oliver reallyyy quick." She said, dragging out the really. "What?" Oliver asked, once they were in the kitchen. "Somebody knows I'm Hannah Montana. And it's for sure this time. They're gonna tell everyone at the party tonight!" Miley exclaimed quietly. "You don't think its..." Lilly began. "Oh, I know who it is." Miley finished. They turned around, to face a confused faced Sam. "Wait, your Hannah Montana? How?" He asked. "Oh boy!" All three said.

"Wait, your Hannah Montana? How?" He asked. "Oh boy!" All three said.

Miley, Lilly, Oliver, and Sam sat in the living room. It took a while to explain the whole Hannah thing, and once they were done, they looked at Sam for a reaction. "Thats...thats.." Sam began. "Horrible?" Lilly offered. "Weird?" Offered Oliver. "Hey! Guys!" Miley said. "No, it's actually really cool. I mean, you can be a normal person, and you're so sweet and stuff." Sam said. "Aww." Lilly said. "Thats so nice!" Miley said with a shy smile. "So, you don't think its odd, or anything?" Oliver asked. "Yeah, its odd, but I can live with it, its cool." Sam said. "But, Sam, you know you can't tell ANYONE about this right?" Miley asked with pleading eyes. "If word got out about this, I could never be just Miley again." She said. "Yeah, I totally understand. I respect that and I will never tell anyone. I promise." Sam said, smiling and kissing Miley on the cheek. "Ooooohhh. We'll be waiting outside," Lilly said. "Won't we Oliver?" "Huh?" Oliver asked, popping his head out of the fridge. "You and that fridge, boy!" Lilly yelled. She waled over to him and dragged him out of the house. On the way, she winked at Miley. "But they have good food!" Oliver complained. "Wow, Sam. I didn't know you were so nice." Miley smiled. "I didn't know you were Hannah Montana either, but that turned out OK, right?" Sam smiled back. "Yeah." Miley said, and kissed Sam on the lips. After a couple seconds, she pulled away. "Wait, Sam. This isn't right." Miley said, feeling really guilty. She had planned on using him! He's so sweet! "What?" Sam asked. "It's just, I...I..." Miley began. "You what?" Sam wondered. "I kinda still have feelings for Jake Ryan. I know it was wrong to ask you to go out with me. It's just, Jake is soo... and your sooo...." Miley explained. "Ughh!" She grunted. "I always mess everything up." Miley said. Sam sat on the couch next to her with a blank look on his face. "You mean you don't like me??" He asked her. "No, thats not it! I really do like you! And you were soo sweet about my secret and.." Miley rambled. "Why would you tell me that then?" Sam asked. Miley paused. "I have a stupid guilty conscience." She admitted. "I like that." Sam said. "I know, I know..it was wrong.....Wait, cute guy say whaaat?" Miley began, then realized what he had said. "If you don't want to date me, it's OK. But your a really awesome girl, and I'm not gonna let you go for Jake Ryan." Sam said, standing up. "Really?" Miley asked. " I was sooooo wrong about you sam. I realize now, I do want to date you. If thats okay with you." Miley smiled cutely. "Is that ok with me? Heck yes its ok!" Sam said, and grabbed Mileys hand. They walked outside to Lilly and Oliver. Lilly hung up the cell phone she had been talking on. "Bad news guys." Lilly said. "What now?" Miley and Sam said.
