There's something wrong with GIMP!

There is something wrong with GIMP! I tried restarting my comp and then reinstalling it,but it didnt work. How do I get the bottom back? Please HELP! Here is a cap/screenshot of it:

oh u can get that uhm part by uhm... I think double clicking a tool... I dont have gimp anymore but I used to and that same thing happened to me lol I'm not sure tho

dont worry, just click the text tool, then the thing will be there, then continue w what u were doing
