my hair will NOT curl...but i love it curled is there something i can like buy?
omg i have the same problem! i have naturally stick straight hair, and when i went to photo shoots it was a BIG problem that the curls wouldn't stay in! at one shoot, the hair stylist told me that before i curl it, i should blow dry it and spray it.
-while you blow dry it, twist small sections of hair really tightly and hold them and count to 10.
-once you have done this throughout all of your hair, spray Big Sexy Hair Hairspray all over your hair holding the bottle about 10 inches away from your head. keep twisting while you do this but remember not to spray so much!
-once you have done this "prep phase", start curling your hair like you normally would, but put the iron on a lower heat setting so you can keep it in longer.
-when you have finished curling, spray the Big Sexy Hair Hairspray all over your hair again
-lightly scrunch the curls
this should help your curls stay in alot longer! if it doesnt, then im REALLY sorry, but ill keep you updated with other ideas to help!!

-part your hair in the middle
-if you have bangs, then take two chunks of hair from behind your bangs (make sure each strand is from either side of the part)
-clip each piece individually
-OPTIONAL: if your hair isn't straight already, blow dry or iron it first!

doing this style is relatively similar to the way yo do the first one...
-part your hair the slightest bit off center
-take a strand of hair behind your bangs from the opposite side of your part (if your part is on the right side, take the strand from the left side of the part...and vice versa)
-clip the strand as close to the root of your hair as possible
-OPTIONAL: straighten your hair if needed!

-part your hair off to the side
-with your thumbs at the front of your ears and your pointer-fingers at the front of your hair on either side of the part, pinch and pull the two strands of hair back.
-clip each strand of hair at the back of the crown of your head about 2 inches apart from each other.
-if you have bangs, loosen them with your fingers (kind of scratching them out of place)
-part your bangs to where you like them
HOPE THAT ALL WORKS!!

i have thick straight hair too! a really easy, quick way to curl your hair is to:
-when your hair is wet, comb the knots out then use a towel to get all the excess water out.
-part your hair on the side
-take random, small (about 2 inches wide) sections of hair and braid them...instead of braiding the hair regularly, twist each piece really tightly THEN braid them.
-do this until all of your hair has been twist-braided.
-let your hair dry naturally with the braids in
-when you think your hair is totally dry, blow dry the braids on a medium or low heat.
-take the braids out, and continue to blow dry your hair with the same level heat.
-use your fingers to comb thru the curls.
-once your hair is completely dry, take the hair from the opposite side of your part (if your hair is parted to the right, take the hair from the left side) and clip it just above your ear.
hope that works! feel free to ask any questions!

Yeah that seems like it would work, and I have done the braids before and it turned out nice. I slept with them in, but the curls/waves came out within an hour so what product would I use to make them stay. I used hairspray before but i play with my hair A LOT, and it gave it this wierd texture and I had to re-wash it again. And washing thick hair a lot isn't healthy for it.

hairspray doesn't always hold well for thick hair, so i suggest using any light mousse. this one is a foam spray and it works really well....http://www.lorealparisusa.com/studioline/studioline.aspx?language=fr§ion=&connectionType=hi&interactivevideo=&page=
to use it
-ON DAMP HAIR!
-spray a QUARTER SIZED amount into the palm of ur hand
-flip your head over and scrunch the mousse thru your hair
-flip your head back up and massage mousse into ur scalp
-shake your hair and part it, then continue with the instructions i gave you before.
hope that helps!

-make sure that when you wash your hair you condition it really well and comb ALL of the knots out
-ring all excess water out of your hair and comb it
-when your hair starts to dry (when its damp), make really tight little twists in different sizes, all over your head
-blowdry twists when they start to unroll
-when your hair is dry it should be in little sections from the twists...using a 1 to 2 inch curling iron, curl the sections making some really tight curls and some loose curls.
-when your hair is all curled and has cooled down, finger comb the curls to separate them.
-if the curls are still really tight, blow dry them on a LOW power while finger combing.
hope that helps! feel free to ask more questions!

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/mjggirl/normal_photoshoot22_007.jpg
ooh i love that!
a good way to do it is probablyy...
-when your hair is damp (AND KNOT-FREE!), start twisiting small sections really tightly but stop halfway down. when you create 3 sections, braid them together. keep doing this until your whole head is done.
-let your hair naturally dry with the braids in
-when you think your hair is completely dry, start to blowdry the braids on a high power with low heat.
-once your hair is as dry as you can get it, take the braids out
-loosen the twists and braids by shaking your hair and kind of massasing it rapidly.
-if you need to, blow dry your hair for a minute to make looser waves.
hope that helps! feel free to ask any more questions!

-when all your hair is curled, use your fingers to comb the curls and tousle them around.
-blowdry your hair on a low power while combing with your fingers.
-take a 3 inch wide section of hair from the front of your head
-lift up the section and tease (comb the hair towards your scalp) from the backside
-hold the section down and clip it back.
-if you want to, lightly spray your hair
http://www.mileyfans.net/gallery5/displayimage.php?album=367&pos=25
-when your hair is damp, part it where you would like
-twist hair into multiple realllllyy tight twists, but DO NOT TIE THEM!
-let them sit like that until your hair gets almost dry (keep twisting them tighter if they start to fall out)
-blow dry your hair on a low power and keep twisting the sections until your hair is dry...
-shake your head so the curls become waves

well first, talk to your parents and let them know that you're trying to accomodate their preferences with yours...that your trying to create a style that will work for both you and them!
for the makeup, you want to go for a good and clean face.
-you want to find an eyeshadow thats at the most, no more than 2 shades darker or lighter than your skin but has some shimmer to it.
-you want to put that just on your lids as close to your lash line as possible
-swipe on 2 coats of BROWN mascara on your upper lashes only!!
-smile and pinch the apples of your cheeks a few times to give them a natural rosy color
-swipe a medium pink or clear gloss on your lips
for the clothes, you need to be more detailed about your style and your parents' style before i can give you advice. post here again and ill help as best as i can!
hope that works!

unfortunatley, there isnt any way that we can make our makeup last longer...but what you can do is:
-dont wear foundation...when it comes off, people will be able to tell that you were wearing it before! its also for older women. young girls have to enjoy not worrying about covering wrinkles and stuff while they can!
-to make sure that shadow stays on longer, try putting a SMALL amount of liquid concealor or foundation on your lids, THEN apply the shadow
-for eyeliner, try putting a powder concealor on your lower lids stoping at your lower lash line, then put on your eyeliner.
i hope that all helps!

-hair texture (curly, straight, etc...): not super straight. the ends are flipped. (by ends I mean like 1 inch cus I used to have a perm)
-hair type (oily, dry, etc...): thin and dry
-price range: any
-question:
I want my hair like this:
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g89/Jillianfananmileylover/london1.jpg
and I want it shiny like that too cus my hair is SOO dull and frizzy! :(
-picture of style you would like: ^^Above
-any special needs or requests?: I want my hair to not be frizzy anymore, I want it to be REALLY shiny
-if you want your hair to be shiny and frizz-free, you should use Frizz-Ease Shine Serum from John Frieda.
-if you want your hair to be straight like that, use a 1-inch straightening iron set to a medium heat on small sections of hair until your whole head is straightened!
-ask here if you have more questions about the hair!
Here's this too!
MAKEUP ADVICE:
-username/name: HideUnderMyPillow1425/Tatina
-skin color: Fair (light)
-eye color: Hazel (they are green most of the time)
-hair color: Chesnut with Light blonde highlights
-skin type (oily, dry, broken out, etc...): oily
-what is the occasion (every day, party, etc...): everyday. Everyone at my school calls me "The Ghost" because my skin is so light :(
-price range: Nothing over $50
-question: I want to know how to do my makeup so that it looks good and I want to know how I can make it so that my skin is darker
-picture of style you would like:http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g89/Jillianfananmileylover/normal_lq039.jpg
-any special needs or requests?: I want my skin darker so people can stop calling me "The Ghost"
-what you need to know, is that other than tanning there really isnt a good way to make your skin darker. the only other option is bronzer, which (no offense to anyone) looks terrible in my opinion. what i like to do to make my skin "glow" more, is to use a compacted powder thats one shade darker than my skin color and has flecks of gold in it. i put a SMALL amount on the brush and i dust it lightly all over my face and neck.
-you can try it too! the best kind is Neutrogena Mineral Powders. i dont know your exact skin tone, but you can go to a duane reade or rite aid or what ever pharmacy is near your house and buy the right kind!
-now, to do your makeup like that what you need is a light grey-shimmer shadow and a light pinkish-brown shimmer shadow, black eyeliner, and lengthening black mascara.
-first, line your inner lower-lashline but only line 3/4 of it.
-make sure the liner is realllllyyy pointy, and line your lower lashline AT THE ROOT OF YOUR LASHES. only do 1/4 of the line.
-make sure the liner pencill is POINTYY! on your upper lids, line your eyes with the black pencil making sure that the line is as close to the lash line as possible! make sure the line is thin!
-now put on the silvery shadow LIGHTLY to halfway up your lid.
-now put on the pinkish shadow LIGHTLY on the other half of your lid.
-use a clean brush to blend the colors together all over your lid
-apply 2 or 3 coats of mascara to your upper lashes and NONE to your lower lashes!
-pinch your cheeks for a natural red color
-apply a nude pink gloss to your lips!
-your even more beautiful and ready to go!
I know I keep posting these but I want a total makeover by the time I get back to school. So I need time to work for my dad for the money. I only get minimum wage. so, yeah...

(^^I like her robe)

-any special needs or requests?: Nope.
FIRST OUTFIT
-since your really slim, i would give you skinny jeans (http://www.abercrombiekids.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10101&catalogId=10851&productId=345763&langId=-1&categoryId=12160&parentCategoryId=12103&colorSequence=02)
-old navy (http://www.oldnavy.com/) makes great waffle shirts (what miley is wearing) and Splendid makes great shirts too. to achieve mileys style in this picture, you should layer things that you wouldnt usually put together. to get the arm warmers, you can cut an old pair of high socks, if you have any.
SECOND OUTFIT
-victorias secret (http://search.victoriassecret.com/?all=u1&i=1&q=robe&u1=q) makes a great robe
THIRD OUTFIT
-danskin makes great leggings, which it looks like Hannah is wearing
-you can find great boots at Zappos (inexpensive!!)
-your best bet to find a denim vest is forever 21
-i dont know where you would be able to find a shirt like that, but im guessing that hardtail or another trendy company would make one like it, just try your local "funky" store for a tye-dye-esque shirt like the one hannah's wearing.
i hope this advice helps!!
NOTE TO ALL: FOR FASHION, IM NOT AN OUTFIT MATCHING THREAD. i help you with finding versions of outfits that suit your body type!!

FIRST STYLE:
-what your going to do first is make sure your hair is tangle-free and comb thru it.
-part your hair in the middle
-using a curling iron with a 2-inch barrel, curl sections that range in size from 2 to 3 inches wide.
-when you are making each curl, stop wrapping hair around when you get to about an inch above your ear.
-make sure the curls are really tight, and when your done curling, let them cool and comb thru them with your fingers (you can shake your head a little bit to make the curls looser)
SECOND STYLE:
-this one's simple! when your hair is damp, take 1-inch wide strands of hair and make tight twists...dont tie them or anything...and once everything is twisted, blow dry your hair on a MEDIUM power. keep twisting your hair as it unravels
-when your hair is dry, take a small piece of hair from right above your forehead. clip back the piece of hair
THIRD STYLE:
-this ones really easy!! when your hair is damp and TANGLE-FREE, flip your head over and blow dry your hair on a HIGH power.
-when your hair is almost dry, flip your head back up and brush it. part your hair on the side.
-now blow dry your hair on a MEDIUM power with the nozzle pointing DOWN towards your roots. brush your hair as you blow dry it.
-when your hair is dry, take the pieces of hair that frame your face and with a round brush, blow the hair back AWAY from your face.
hope those all help!
