Ok, so I've been looking everywhere on how to get my hair in a certain style, but I couldn't find any good info. So I decided to try this site because there's a lot of stylish people on here :D

Ok, so I really like how Hayden, (Claire) on Heroes, does her hair, like this:

I just want to know what kind of curling iron to get that kind of curl, or if I need curlers. Please help!
(thanks =])

You would need a curling iron. I have done it like that with a curling iron and it looked GREAT!

What kind of curling iron?
(like a specific brand, type, size?)

you'll need a 2-inch barrel curling iron. conair is your best bet if your looking for an inexpensive one (theyre like 22 dollars, give or take a few).
now you...
-part your hair in the middle
-part your hair again but horizontally across the back
-your hair should be in 3 sections now...clip the 2 front sections off, leaving the back section loose
-split that section down the middle and starting with the section on the left, curl each piece with the clamp facing outside.
-with the section on the right side, do the same as above except curl each section with the clamp facing the opposite outside
-with the section on the left-front of your head, starting with the farthest back piece...curl with the clamp facing outside. keep curling the next piece with the clamp facing inside. repeat this pattern until you finish the section. make sure the piece closest to your face is curled with the clamp on the outside.
-repeat the step above on the other section.
-when you're done and you have let ur hair curl, finger comb the curls and flip your hair once.
-spray if you need to and you should be ready to go!
hope that helps!

ok ive done my hair like that before, and what u need is a CHI IRON. its a straiting iron but you can twist it up and you get that look and it holds better and longer so your curls will stay in!! you should really try it!!!

i've done it that way, and it turns out really close. but a Chi is expensive ($100+). and they don't stay in all day :D. i'd do it ALstar's way

Yeah, I'd try the Chi, but I'm really broke. So, I think I'll stick to ALstar's way.
Thanks to both of you thought :D :D
