how do you use/install textures?

Hm...All I do is save them like a picture, then open them in Photoshop, and then change the opacity. But it may be different since you have Photoshop 7.0 and I only have Photoshop Elements 5.0...well, that's how I do it ;]

ok well u open ur texture right?
wait do u kno how to get textures? oh well, if not u can go to deviantart.com and then search for textures there and then download them and unzip them ..
ok well u have ur texture opened on photoshop.. then u go to EDIT>DEFINE PATTERN
and then u make ur blend as normal but it should have more than one layer so it works.. and then u go to LAYER>LAYER STYLE>PATTERN OVERLAY
then u should have it there and u can either change the oppacity of the pattern or change the settings ... u kno like set it to exclusion or screen or pin light... u kno just play around with it ;)
