Don't get me wrong. I love Miley and I think she has a great voice.

But she's mainly an entertainer and with how exact it sounds when she sings on stage makes it pretty believeable she sometimes lipsyncs. That's not necessarily a bad thing it's probably just really hard to sing and dance like that at the same time.

I sing to instrumentals all the time for fun....that part was probably in the instrumental so they don't need backup/background/whatever singers there to sing that part, you can tell that the part she sings is her real voice. I think that part was a background singer to begin with.....and Disney Channel does edit the videos. Even at the Radio Disney concert, right at the beginning of the song you hear her real voice, then I think they turned off the mic because then it became just the CD. In Hannah Montana, you hear her singing for real several times, and she's great. And does it matter? They're her songs, she recorded them. She's not using somebody else's voice, so it dosn't matter! I actually like that the Disney videos are all edited except This Is The Life, you can tell what the song will really sound like on the CD. Only no fake crowd, and if there was no crowd it would be obvious it was edited.

acually most dont iv been to over 70 concerts and i have never seen one artist that mimes unless iv been to a tv show preformance then they are forced to mime but like some one said they did with miley they do often dub the voice on tv so that you cant hear the croud or breathing

Frankly miley breathing into the microphone doesn't really signify anything because she could stil be lip syncing with the mic being on. Anyway the point here isnt really whether she lip syncs or not but the fact that she sings well. lip syncs are more like audio cues to help her out but it doesn't mean she totally lip sync, pop singers do it most of the time, you could tell if she's gasping (probably no the word) for air or not. compare it to the album versions of the songs

omg...if you watch any kind of video on youtube it's bound to look that way 'cause youtube is slow with the words but faster with the video. so it looks like it. or it's the other way around with the words faster and video slower.

well, itz like i keep sayin, watch on tv (when it comes on) the best of both worlds music video at the typhoon lagoon, shes lip-syncing! i really hate to say it, but itz true! 2 things to look for, her mouth dosent match the words, and it sounds EXACTLY like it doez in the best of both worlds theme song

This was part of I Got Nerve at my concert. She had the music in the background but she sang along. I could tell. At Typhon Lagoon and Disney's 10th Birthday she did lipsing. But not at the concerts.

I know, i LOVE her singing, i always listen to her when i was on the way to school, but...everytime i listen to I've Got Nerve....it just....the voice, it's sooooooo clear and everything..there's no way she can do that unless it's coming from a record. I really really hate to admit it, i mean, I'm her fan too, and it's just sad to admit it but it is. Just like the time when Ashlee Simpson was on Saturday Night Live and she lip sync her song on there, it just sooo sooo sooo sad, i don't listen to her anymore after that...and i hope Miley isn't just another ashlee simpson

I will proceed to repeat what i said earlier:

WHETHER OR NOT MILEY LIPSYNCS DOESNT MATTER!!!! its stillher voice anyway so it doesnt matter whether she decides to sing it live or just move her lips to mouth the words................. This whole topic of Miley lipsyncing is completely and utterly useless... no point in arguing about whether she lip syncs or not if you spend too much time debating about whether she lip syncs or not you aer very bored....

Miley completely and accurately 100% DOES lip sing! She even lip sings that small part where she sings a really small high note excerpt for "Stand for what you believe in". Ya, we all like her a-lot. But she is singing the WRONG genre. She'd be WAY better in country music. I love her singing, and she's pretty good in the current genre. She even lip sings at concerts. She has a good voice, but I think she possibly has trouble on parts and words often. I'm actually disappointed. A live concert is for LIVE singing, and she lip sings. It is completely clear. Ya, you can deny it all you like but she lip sings. There is yet to be a media that we know of where she doesn't lip sing. And this is the truth. She acts pretty good! I like her acting, and she sings pretty good, but like someone told me, it's pretty sad when someone can't sing live on a live concert. She doesn't use a dock voice, it is her voice. She sings really good, but she isn't a professional or anything. She's an amateur that is still learning. Give her some time to adjust and I think she'll improve. Anyway my overall opinion is she is a great singer and actress, but once she's better, she could try a live concert without lip singing. But I still think she is totally great! And that should be the end of the conversation unless anyone wants to agree or snob up and deny what's true. If you want proof, just ask and I'll get you quality stuff and complete proof that Miley Cyrus lip sings. But I suggest saving trouble and agreeing. Well, I'm done! :P

one concert she didnt though..the concert version of This is the life is different than the album version..

I dont really think it is her choice about the issue either..probably her manager's or producer's of the show.
