I was so scared! My teeth hurt! It was a very weird experiance! I hated it! There was this kid getting braces. HE WAS SCREAMING! It scared me!

y is everybody scared of the dentist? its not that bad!! i only hated the dentist til i was 6!! but that was cause i was younger!! im older now and it doesnt hurt or scare me!! i like the cleanings!! the yummy flavored foam stuff!! lol

my dentisst isn't that bad. honesty? she great! my lil bro had cavities and he didn't even know that she put a drill thing in his mouth. she really good. why would somebody be getting braces at the dentist? don't you have to go to the orthadonist(sp?)for that? getting braces aint that bad. it doesn't even hurt(i have them).

^^Yes,you do.At the denist all they do is clean your teeth.At an orthodontist,they look and see if you need braces and tell you why if you do.Then you go back,they give you laughing gas,and put the braces on.Then you go back for things like check-ups.

I figured out(and waas told) the kid didn't get braces. He got a cavitie filled!

ya...they dont give laughing gas for braces, it doesnt hurt when they put it on
it only hurts like 2 hours after you get it on and then for a couple more days but the pain goes away. you only get laughing gas for fillings and everything that would require numbing your mouth, but you dont need that for braces

Whatever...mine gives me a laughing gas nose that smells like grapes or oranges.

My friend had to have laughing gas.But then again she is a cry-baby....

I actully like mine because when you go back there,they have a TV on every celing and you get headphones and get to choose what channel.

yeah braces aren't that bad...they dont even hurt getting put on...so he was probaly over reacting...
but i have no problem with the dentist not since i got braces, i figure, hey im in the orthadontist all the time so why be afraid of the dentist?

uh that isnt nessicaraly true. when i got my braces on i didn't get laughing gas, i didnt even get novacane.
and you can get braces at your dentist, but most people dont.
my dentist is a ortho and dentist but i go somewhere else for my braces cuz my dentist is far away, and my ortho isnt.
