Chapter 1: The New Kid


Miley: (walks up to Lily in a disgusted sort of way) Hey Lily. (Says in a grumpy sort of voice)
Lily: ( doesn’t even look up from her magazine) What’s wrong with you?
Miley: Oh.....nothing. School’s great, my Dad’s great, and Jackson’s great. What gives you the idea that I’m not great too?!
Lily: (looks up suddenly from her magazine) that doesn’t sound very reassuring. Dish. What’s wrong with you?
Miley: You really wanna know?
Lily: (stares at her like must I really answer that question)
Miley: (sighs) Jake called from his movie set, apparantly he met some girl and thought that since she was closer...
Lily: Oh, I’m sorry Miley. But I think Jake was a real jerk to do something like that. I know you really liked him.
Miley: Yeah, but you know what? I’m done with guys, I’m done with the whole crushing thing. From now on, no more crushing for Miley Stewart.
Lily: (snorts) good luck with that
Miley: (rolls eyes then gets up to leave) I better get goin, see yah later Lily.
Lily: yeah, see yah
Miley: (gets up and starts to walk away when she bumps into someone) oh, sorry!
Boy: No, its my fault, I wasn’ t looking.
Miley: Oh well...ok.
Boy: My name’s Eric. I just moved here from Florida. So I guess I’m the new kid around here.
Miley: (smiles) my name’s Miley. I....well...I’ve lived here awhile.
Eric: Well, Miley, I guess I’ll see you around?
Miley: yeah, that would be great.
Eric: (walks away)
Miley: (stands there smiling still)
Lily: (walks up behind Miley) You just couldn’t stay away for five seconds.
Miley: Oh big deal! He’s way too cute...and I was just kidding anyway.
Lily: Oh right, I guess I just missed the hint of sarcasm in your voice back there.
Miley: yeah, I guess you did.
Lily: so spill! Does he go to our school?
Miley: there isn’t really anything to spill, I mean we just bumped into each other. Kind of like it was meant to be. I haven’t felt that way since Jake left.
Lily: (smiles) It’s gonna be ok Miley. That jerk should have never dumped you.
Miley: You know what, you’re right! I am so moving on.
Lily: I am right! You woke up today thinking Jake, and you’ll wake up tomorrow thinking...uh...what’s his name again?
Miley: Eric.
Lily: Right. Eric.
Miley: (hears her cell phone ring then looks at the caller ID) oh great. Why now?
Lily: what? Who is it?
Miley: It’s the my Hannah event planner, Unique. She is so boring to listen to all day, and he needs me to come in like NOW.
Lily: Well It sounds important. I’ll see you later then.
Miley: (already running off) k! Bye!!
(Later at Hannah’s practicing studio with her wig on.)
Unique: There you are Hannah! What took you so long?!
Hannah: well first I wen-
Unique: Never mind that now. Guess what I just booked for Hannah Montana?
Hannah: uh wh-
Unique: A charity event! And wait till you get a load of this, guess who I booked this genius event with!
Hannah: um Be-
Unique: .........!!!!
Hannah: WHAT?!

Chapter 2: Alexis Texas

Hannah: (at the charity event) I can’t believe I have to work with you (mutters while signing an autograph)
Alexis: What’s wrong Hannah? Can’t handle the competition?
Hannah: (rolls eyes) no I just can’t figure out why I have to WORK with the competition.
Alexis: oh please. This will do wonders for your career. (Signs an autograph)
Hannah: My career?? Don’t you mean your career?
Alexis: what can you possibly be talking about?!
Hannah: oh like you don’t know!!! do these songs ring a bell? The greatest of two worlds?! I’ve got guts?! If we were a reality tv show?! You completely ripped me off! (Signs another autograph)
Alexis: I see no similarities one so ever!
Hannah: give it a break already. I’m only here anyway cause of all the orphans. (Signs an autograph then draws a big heart around her name)
Alexis: whatever, I’m only here because Jake Ryan said I should come.
Hannah: what are you talking about?
Alexis: (looks at Hannah) Are you telling me you didn’t know us two were going out?!
Hannah: (stunned) no....I mean...its not like I would care anyways.
Alexis: oh well. Me and Jake met up in Romania months ago. It was like a kodak moment. We totally fell in love right on the spot.
Hannah: oh...(signs an autograph on someone’s arm) well it’s good to know that he finally found someone he’ll stick with.
Alexis: what do you mean finally?
Hannah: I’ve just heard he was testing the rivers. That’s all.
Alexis: oh. Well, he’s happy with me now.
Hannah: good. As long as you’re happy.
Alexis: well we are.
Hannah: ok then. You’re happy. (Rolls eyes)
Alexis: so you’re not jealous?
Hannah: (continues to autograph papers) no. why would I be mad?
Alexis: I thought you liked him.
Hannah: and what gave you that idea?!
Alexis: Well he’s teen scene hottie of the year! And I got him! Not you!
Hannah: um...well that’s good to know. Since I never really wanted him.
Alexis: (silent for a moment) oh.
(The event ends and they both get up from behind the table)
Alexis: Well....see you on the stage Hannah.
Hannah: Yeah. Sure. (Starts to walk toward her ride but then turns back around) Hey Alexis?
Alexis: Yeah?
Hannah: How long have you guys been going out?
Alexis: Like (thinks for a second) two months.
Hannah: Oh, ok. (Thinking that was the time they were still going out)
Alexis: But Hannah?
Hannah: Yeah?
Alexis: Jake .........

Chapter 3: The Back-up Plan

Miley: (calls Lily) Lily, you will not believe what Alexis Texas just told be!
Lily: Isn’t Alexis Texas that popstar who always rips you off?
Miley: Yeah, but we ended up talking about Jake and...
Lily: And what?!
Miley: Not only are they going out, but he only shot the movie to be with her. They’ve been planning on going out way before Jake even met me!!
Lily: She’s lying.
Miley: huh?
Lily: She’s lying.
Miley: How do you know?
Lily: Give me one good reason why she would tell you all this AND be telling the truth!
Miley: Uh...because she wanted to make me jealous by going out with him and then rubbing it in my face.
Lily: Wait? Why would she do that? I mean Miley likes Jake. Not Hannah.
Miley: Lily, you are SO missing the big picture.
Lily: Which would be...
Miley: That I was Jake’s back up plan! And when he finally got the chance to go with Alexis, he dumped me!
Lily: Calm down Miley. You’re moving on. Remember?
Miley: Right. Moving on. Tomorrow I’ll go back to school and just forget about him.
Lily: Good. I’ll see you tomorrow. I’m going to bed.
Miley: k, bye.
Lily: bye. (Hangs up)
(Next day at school)
Miley: (slams her locker door shut)
Lily: (runs up to her) You will never believe who I just saw!!
Miley: Who?
Lily: .......!!!!


Chapter 4: So We Meet Again

Miley: Are you sure its him?
Lily: Who else would It be?
Miley: I don’t know...but I’m gonna go see.
Lily: I’ll go with you.
Miley: (walks around the corner of the hallway) Oh my gosh! It is him!!
Lily: I told you!
Person: Oh hey Miley! I didn’t know you went to this school!
Miley: Hey Eric! I didn’t think you went here either. In fact, it never even occurred to me.
Eric: (smiles) Well I guess now we really will see each other around! Like...maybe at a movie?
Miley: (smiles back) Are you asking me on a date?
Eric: I guess I am.
Miley: Then of course I’ll go. How about tomorrow? At six?
Eric: Perfect. So I guess I’ll see you then.
Miley: Yeah. See yah. (Walks away smiling)
Lily: (she was at a near enough distance to hear everything) He is so cute! You are so lucky Miley.
Miley: Yeah, but don’t you think it’s kind of weird how he showed up just in time for me and Jake to break up?
Lily: (looks confused) Uh....no.
Miley: Yeah, I’m just being paranoid.
Lily: Yeah, I guess you are. Well I gotta get to class before all the seats in the back of the room are taken. I hate history. (Smiles)
Miley: (laughs) Well, I’ll see you at lunch.
Lily: Yeah, save me a seat! (Walks away)
(Miley starts to walk to her next class but then she realized she forgot one of her books inside her locker and headed back there.)
Miley: (Opens locker then a note falls out) That’s weird. I was here like five minutes ago.
(Miley read the note aloud since no one was around)
Miley: Dear Miley, you’re an awesome person and I would never do anything to hurt you on purpose. That’s weird there’s no signature.
(Miley stuffs the note in her backpack then rushes to her classroom. She takes a seat across from Eric.)
Miley: Hey Eric. Thanks.
Eric: (pulls a confused face) For what?
Miley: Um...for the note.
Eric: (stares at her for a second) Oh right! The note, no problem.
Miley: (smiles) And for the record, I think you’re awesome too.
Eric: Huh?
Miley: In the note? You said you thought I was awesome.
Eric: Oh, right. Also no problem.
Miley: (thinking) That is so weird. It’s like he doesn’t even know what he wrote. (Stops thinking)
Miley: Are you sure yo-
Amber: (runs into the room with Ashley) OHMYGOD!!!!
(The whole class turns around to looks at Amber)

Miley: Huh? That’s insane, Jake CANNOT be back. I don’t believe it a bit.
Jake: (walks in and runs his fingers through his hair) Well you better believe it. Cause I’m back, honey.
Miley: I’m not your honey. Were through remember?
Jake: Same difference. (Jake rolled his eyes.)
Miley: No its not the same! (Stands up) Were not going out anymore!
Jake: It’s not like you have anyone better to like.
Miley: Actually, I moved on. I’m dating....(looks around)
Jake: Yeah? Who?
Miley: I’m dating Eric!
Eric: What? Uh, Mil-
Miley: And were like in love.
Jake: Oh yeah? Prove it.
Miley: And how am I supposed to do that?
Eric: Mi-
Jake: You know what you have to do.
Miley: No I don’t or else I wouldn’t be asking. (Crosses arms and walks over closer to Jake)
Eric: But Miley I-
Jake: (rolls his eyes) Kiss him. After school. On the beach. You have to kiss him.
Miley: (laughs nervously) Well you see were not exactly that far in the relationship yet.
Jake: I knew you couldn’t move on that fast. (Starts to walk off)
Miley: FINE. After school at Rico’s. We’ll be there.
Jake: (smiles devilishly) Cool, see you there. (Walks off)
Miley: (sits back down) Can you do this one thing? For me?
Eric: Um...I would...but....
Miley: What?

Eric: Well I did like you at the beach, but then I saw her here so I kinda just wanna be friends.
Miley: Well why didn’t you tell me that before I said we were gonna kiss.
Eric: What? I tried to tell you! You just kept interrupting!
Miley: Well it doesn’t matter now, we have to kiss. That’s the plan.
Eric: But what about....you know....the girl I like.
Miley: Oh right. First of all, her name is Lily. And second of all, she doesn’t even know you really exist, so she won’t really care.
Eric: (looks at the floor) Oh...
Miley: Oh, I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings or anything. It’s just....you’re new here....and-and-(looks at the floor) You know, something like this might make Lily jealous.
Eric: Really?
Miley: I AM her best friend right? I should know these things.
Eric: But are you sure she’ll end up liking me?
Miley: POSITIVE.
Eric: Well...in that case....I’ll do it.
Miley: Cool, I’ll see you at the beach then. (The bell rings, short period I know)
Eric: Like I have a choice...
Miley: (rolls her eyes then leaves the room.)
Lily: (walks up smiling then sees Eric walk out the classroom) Oooooo so Eric is in your class?
Miley: Yeah, but guess who else is too.
Lily: Who?
Miley: Jake. As in Jake Ryan. As in ex-boyfriend!!!

Miley: No, actually he just wanted me to prove to him that we were through and that I was over him.
Lily: So what did you do?

Miley: No! I do not need to make Jake jealous. I just need to prove to him that...you know...me and him are through.
Eric: Oh. But why would Lily be here then?
Miley: Must I explain this full out?!
Eric: Uh...it would help.
Miley: Fine. Lily is my best friend, she will come to support me, Jake is my ex-boyfriend, he’ll come to embarrass me, and-
Eric: What about that other kid?
Miley: What other kid?
Eric: You know Cucumber or whatever.
Miley: His name is OLIVER.
Eric: Oh. But why will he be here?
Miley: Because Oliver is my other best friend.
Eric: You have two best frien-
Miley: You are completely missing the point!!!
Eric: Sorry. Hey, what about those kids?
Miley: (rolls her eyes then turns around) What ki- oh my gawd.
Jake: (walks up to her with about twenty five different people behind him) word must’ve slipped out. Hope you don’t mind.
Miley: (smiles in a pained way) no, not at all. We don’t mind company right honey?
Eric: (looking for lily) Uh yea- I mean no we don’t mind.
Jake: (rolls his eyes) so let’s get on with this already.
Miley: Uh, sure. We’ve got a date to go on and this shouldn’t take all day.
Jake: Whatever. (Takes out a camara)
Miley: Uh, what’s that for?
Jake: I need to capture the look on your face when you don’t kiss him and admit that you still like me instead.
Miley: (really mad) Ok Eric, lets do this.
Eric: (starts to lean forward)
Miley: (starts to lean forward too)
Jake: Oh hey Lily!
Lily: uh, hi Jake. (Rolls her eyes)
Jake: (watches Miley expecting her to back away but she doesn’t)

Miley: I repeat, Huh?!
Jake: Oh right, Miley. Guess you proved me wrong.
Miley: I didn’t even get to kiss him before you kissed my best friend!
Jake: Oh, then I guess I saved you. You’re welcome.
Miley: What are talking about?
Jake: Oh, Eric didn’t tell you?
Miley: Tell me what? What didn’t Eric ever tell me?
Jake: (his eyebrows raise) You seriously don’t know?
Miley: Would I be asking if I did? (Rolls her eyes)
Jake: Well first of all Eric is my best friend? Like ever since the Pre-k years.
Miley: You and Eric? Friends?!

(Miley, at her house, calling someone)
Miley: come on, pick up!
Machine: Hello, this is Alexis Texas. If you don’t know what to do at the tone, hang up.
Miley: Hey Alexis buddy old pal. What’s up? How’s li-
Alexis: Hello? Hannah? What do you want?
Miley: Well you see it-
Alexis: Jake isn’t it? It’s Jake!
Miley: NO!! Of course it is-well ok fine. It is.
Alexis: Mhm. Lets see. What’s the problem?
Miley: Uh, lets just say a plan to make him mad backfired.
Alexis: O- wait why were you trying to make him mad?
Miley: It’s a long story.
Alexis: Give me the short version.
Miley: (rolls eyes on her end of the phone) Well, lets just say I used to like Jake. Then he dumped me. And now he thinks he can just take me back like-like nothing ever happened!!
Alexis: And...
Miley: So I sorta kinda told him I was dating this guy I really barely know. Then Jake said to prove it. And before I could kiss the kid I was "dating" he had kissed my best friend!
Alexis: So....the guy you were dating kissed your best friend?
Miley: Huh? No! Jake kissed my best freind!
Alexis: Oh!!! Well I have the perfect plan.
Miley: ANYTHING!!!

Alexis: My real name’s Sara.

Alexis: Not the point. (Sighs) Lets just put this plan into action. K?
Miley: Sure, so phase one I just....!!!
Alexis: Precisely. Meet you at point A seven o clock sharp!
Miley: Ok, I’ll see you there. Bye!!
(At the meeting point, inside a dumpster on the beach)
Miley: (moves aside a piece of lettuce on her knee.) This is gross. Why did we have to meet in a dumpter?
Alexis: Will you just shut up? I need to hear.
Miley: Fine, but I don’t think he’s coming.
Alexis: (looks at her alarmed) Why not?! You did say you wanted to apologize right!!!
Miley: (stares at her) Uh, yeah. It’s just he probably has better things to do than meet me. (Lifts up the lid to the dumpster and starts to get out.)
Jake: (walks up to Miley) Miley? What were you doing in a dumpster?
Miley: Uh....I was looking for my.....my.....um my shoe! (Looks down at her right shoe and points at it) And I found it!!!
Jake: Um, ok....you called me here though.
Miley: Yeah, I did. Jake...(looks back at the dumpster where Alexis is then looks at the floor.) I think that you and....and....Hannah Montana should go out. Not you and Lily.
Jake: (looks at her) No offense Miley, but you aren’t exactly the best person to tell me who to go out with.
Miley: Excuse me! What do you mean by that?!
Jake: I mean with you fake dating Eric and everything.....and besides, I love Lily.
Miley: I am not ‘fake’ dating Eric and you don’t even know what love is!
Jake: Oh yeah?

Lola: Oops. Sorry Mi-I mean Hannah. Sorry!
Hannah: (smiles) It’s cool. Just be careful!
Lola: Got it.
Hannah: Is there something that you wanted?
Lola: Oh yeah! I just wanted to tell you that someone is out there watching you.
Hannah: (stares at her) EVERYONE out there is watching me!! That’s why they’re here! (Starts to walk away)
Lola: (rolls her eyes) But JAKE is out there watching you.
Hannah: (smiles) Reeeealllly?
Lola: Uh yeah. Really.
Hannah: (smiles deviously)
Lola: Uh...Hannah? Is there something you need to tell me?
Hannah: Nothin besides the fact that me and Alexis...aka Sara-
Lola: Sara?! The one that goes to our school?!!

Robbie Ray: Jackson ate everything else.
Miley: (sighs)
Robbie Ray: Look, I’m sorry I’ve been too busy to stop your brother from being a p-
Miley: No Dad. It’s not that.
Robbie Ray: Then what is it Bud?
Miley: (hesitates)
Robbie Ray: Come on. You know you can tell me anything.
Miley: (smiles) Yeah I guess I can.

(Miley starts to explain the whole story starting with the kiss before Jake left, to Jake leaving, to meeting Eric, to having Jake come back, to having Jake challenge her, to having Jake kiss Lily when she was supposed to be kissing Eric, to Eric liking Lily, to Miley asking for Alexis’s help, to them making up their so called perfect plan, to Jake asking out Hannah, to Hannah excepting, to Jake lying to Lily. She takes a deep breath at the end)

Robbie Ray: (stares at her with his mouth open) Well bud...looks like you’re in a stickier situation then Uncle Earl trying to get out of his armchair. And you know how sticky THAT gets.
Miley: I don’t get it. How am I in a sticky situation.
Robbie Ray: Well the way I see it is you can either tell Jake the truth —
Miley: Wait! You think I should tell Jake that I’m Hannah Montan?
Robbie Ray: (nods) Well its obvious to me that you’re more in love with him then your Aunt Dolly at the shoe store. That woman can take hours!
Miley: (stands up) Have you not been listening to one word that I’ve said?! I hate Jake!
Robbie Ray: Why?
Miley: He left me for Romania!! He left me here by myself Dad! (Tears swell up in her eyes)
Robbie Ray: Well... if you hate him so much...why are you trying to make him jealous with this kid Eric? Why do you still care Miles?
Miley: (stares at him confused.) What do you mean?
Robbie Ray: You admitted that you used that other kid. You used him to make Jake mad.
Miley: (sighs) Yeah....I guess I do still like him.
Robbie Ray: Which takes us back to Hannah Montana. I think It’s time for Jake to know the truth honey.
Miley: (nods smiling) Yeah...I guess it is Dad. (Gets up and starts heading to the door)

Miley: I completely used you, even though I knew you liked Lily.
Eric: Oh, yeah. That kind of sucked.
Miley: Yeah. So what do you need help with?
Eric: Lily.
Miley: (shrugs) What about her?
Eric: I want to ask her out. Will you find out if she likes me?
Miley: Done.
Eric: Really?
Miley: I owe you one.
Eric: Thanks Miley.
Miley: (smiles) Kk. See yah at school tomorrow.
Eric: Kk. See yah. (Hangs up)

(Next day at schooll)

Miley: (walks up to Lily) So...my dad convinced me to tell Jake the truth.
Lily: Really? You’re gonna tell him that you’re Hannah?
Miley: Yeah....(sees Jake at his locker)...I think I’ll just tell him now actually.

Miley: No I don’t.
Jake: You’ve hated me ever since I got back.

Jake: Yeah! Back in Romania, I got a phone call from a close friend of yours saying you were gonna dump me!

Miley: I’m-I’m so sorry Jake. But I really liked you. And I would’ve never, EVER, dumped you.

Jake: (confused) Huh?
Miley: Do you believe that I’m Hannah Montana?
Jake: (runs his hands through his hair) I would love to Miley, but....proof would be nice. (Picks up his bag that’s lying on the floor.) Look, I’ll see you later?
Miley: Yeah...that would be nice.
Lily: (eavesdropping near by) Hey Miley!
Miley: Did you call Jake while he was in Romania?
Lily: No!! I heard him say that! I don’t know if you can believe him on that one.

(At a celebrity party)

Hannah: (turns around from her celebrity friends and walks towards Lola) Yeah?
Lola: Have you seen him yet?
Hannah: Negative. I really have to find him before the party’s over! It’s already been two hours.
Lola: Are you sure he’s even coming?!
Hannah: Oh please Lola! This is the biggest party of the year, OF COURSE he’s coming!! (waves hand in front of her face to show how ridiculous that was)
Lola: Ok, whatever you say.
Tracy: (walks up to them) HANNAH DAHLING!! (does the fake kiss thing on each side)
Hannah: Tracy dahling. So excited to see you again!
Tracy: I KNOW!! I’ve missed you like so much! But I hear you’re very "busy" these days. (Winks)
Hannah: Huh?
Tracy: (smiles)
Lola: (clears her throat.)
Tracy: Oh, hey Lila.
Lola: It’s Lola!
Tracy: (rolls her eyes) Who cares?
Hannah: (clears her throat)
Lola: Nice to see you Tracy.
Tracy: Same.

Tracy: The beach is my best bet.

Tracy: Yes, he always loved taking walks on the beach.

(In Hannah’s limo)
Hannah: I hope he’s still there.
Lola: (stares at the floor)
Hannah: (stares out the window)
Lola: What if he’s not? (Says really quietly)
Hannah: What Lily?
Lola: (looks up) I said what if he’s not?
Hannah: (confused) He.....he has to be.
Lola: How come? Why do you even want him back?!
Hannah: Lola, are you ok?
Lola: I’m fine. It’s just....forget it. (Stares out the window)
Hannah: I’m your best friend. I know when something is wrong. Just....tell me.
Lola: You have Jake. I wanted Jake. Jake wanted you. You had Eric. Eric wanted you. You can be Hannah and —
Hannah: You get to be Lola.
Lola: (rolls her eyes) Oh please, like that can compare to you.
Hannah: Lily, please, tell me what’s really going on. I don’t understand.
Lola: (tearing up) That’s just it! You don’t even see it, but you’re the one hurting me Miley. Not Jake. You’re the reason I haven’t been me in the past two days.
Hannah: Lily...
Lola: Like I said, forget it. (Wipes her eyes)
Hannah: Lily, how I’m I hurting you? I can’t fix what I did if you can’t tell me.
Lola: It’s not what you did. It’s what you’re doing.
Hannah: I’m confused now.
Lola: (shaking her head) Jake.
Hannah: What does he have to do with anything?
Lola: He said he loved me. He said I was the best girlfriend ever....(looks up from the floor) then he asked out Hannah Montana. And instead of comforting me.....
Hannah: (looks shocked, sorry, and confused)
Lola: ......you’re going to meet up with him. To get back with him. To prove to him you’re who you say you are. It’s like he was using me. And it worked. And you don’t even care.
Hannah: Lily, I —
Lola: (shakes her head) No, it’s stupid. I know. Forget everything I just said. I’m really happy for you. I mean, you guys were always perfect for each other.
Hannah: No Lily, if you don’t feel right about this, then I can’t do it. You’re my best friend, and Jake could never get between that.
Lola: (smiles) I appreciate that. Really....but I WILL be fine.
Hannah: (in her head) I really want to do the right thing. If Lily isn’t comfortable, then I should say that I’ll lie to Jake, maybe even dump him as Hannah. But I could be happy. I could love Jake and he could love me. We were meant for each other and I know it! (Turns back to Lily) Are you sure you’re alright with this Lily? I mean...you have to be completely comfortable with him to do this.
Lola: (shakes her head and looks down at the floor) Yeah Miles. Yeah. I’m fine.

(The limo stops. Hannah and Lola get out of the car barely saying a word to each other.)
Hannah: (turns to Lily) I think you should wait here.
Lola: (nods) Yeah, I’ll be at Rico’s.
Hannah: They’re still open?
Lola: Hopefully. (walks towards the snack shop)
Hannah: (walks towards the beach)
.....A COUPLE MINUTES LATER.......
Hannah: (walks down the beach and sees a figure sitting there.) Jake? (Walks over and sits down next to him)
Jake: (smiles) Hey Hannah.
Hannah: (smiles) You still don’t believe me?
Jake: Miley?
Hannah: Yeah, that’s me.
Jake: (shakes his head and looks out towards the ocean) Wow. I don’t believe it.
Hannah: This isn’t enough?!
Jake: (laughs) No...I mean it’s a shock to see you. As Hannah and everything. (Turns back towards her) So...it was really you on Zombie High?
Hannah: (smiles) Yeah, it was me.
Jake: No wonder Hannah was so set on changing the script.
Hannah: (blushes) Right. Sorry about that. I changed my mind at the end though.
Jake: Yeah I know. That’s why I kissed you. I knew you liked me.
Hannah: (rolls her eyes) Oh please. Like you didn’t like me.
Jake: (shrugs) I guess I did a bit.
Hannah: (laughs)
Jake: (gets up and helps her up)
Hannah: Thanks.
Jake: I’m really happy you told me your secret.
Hannah: (smiles) I’m happy I told you too. Now...I don’t have to hide anything from you.
Jake: (smiles then leans in and kisses her.)
Hannah: (pulls away after awhile) Wow. I forgot how good that felt.
Jake: (smiles) How? Too busy kissing Eric?
Hannah: (rolls her eyes)
(They walk down to Rico’s together to find that Lily’s not there anymore)
Hannah: Oh, I have to go find Lola.
Jake: You mean Lily?
Hannah: When she’s with me, she’s Lola.
Jake: (laughs) Right. Who lives in Canada.
Hannah: Where the moose are. (Rolls her eyes smiling this time then walks away)
....NOT TOO LONG LATER.....
Lola: (talking on the phone) Oliver!! I told her how I felt!! She completely shut me down!
Hannah: (hides behind a tree when she hears Lily’s voice.)
Lola: I know she wants to be happy, and I want her to be happy too, but it’s like she didn’t hear a word that I said!!
(There was a slight pause because Oliver was talking)
Lola: Forget it. She doesn’t care. She never did. She likes Jake more than her best friend, and I just have to deal with that I guess. (She listens a little longer) Yeah, see yah Oliver. (Hangs up)

Alexis: Ohmygosh! You didn’t forget about the plan did you?!
Miley: Uh....maybe a little bit.
Alexis: How?! He hurt you so badly! I knew you were a whimp. You’re not gonna do it are you?
Miley: Alexis, we’ve made up. I don’t need the plan anymore.
Alexis: But it would’ve embarassed him so badly!
Miley: I know! That’s why were not doing it! I’m HAPPY with him now.
Alexis: (pouts) But Hannah.
Miley: NO! Hannah nothing! I like Jake now. I’m happy with him. Deal. (Starts to hang up the phone.)
Alexis: Wait! Hannah!

(Setting: Hours later, still at her house, bored)
Miley: (picks up the phone and calls Lily)
Lily: Hello? YOU BETTER ANSWER ME!!
Miley: Lily, relax, its me.
Lily: Oh, hey Miley.
Miley: Why don’t you ever just check caller ID?
Lily: Then it ruins the surprise!
Miley: (laughs then rolls her eyes) So, I was thinking. Wanna go hang out? Just Hannah and Lola?
Lily: Where?
Miley: (shrugs) I don’t know.
Lily: Is Hannah allowed to do this?
Miley: Look, both me and Hannah are bored! I wanna go to the beach! Or —(recieves a new text message from the Hannah phone) go to a hip new party!!
Lily: What party?
Miley: Uh....some number just sent me an invite to their party.
Lily: Who?!
Miley: I don’t know! But if it’s from the Hannah phone, they have to know me right?
Lily: Uh...not necessarily....
Miley: (stands up) Well I don’t care! I can’t live my life in fear of Alexis Texas! Meet me at the beach in five minutes. In disguise!
Lily: (sighs not so sure this is a good idea) Kk. See yah there. (About to hang up) Oh yeah! Miley?
Miley: Mhhhm?
Lily: Thanks for the flowers. I know I forgave you already and everything, but thanks for making sure that I was still ok with this.
Miley: Uh...what flowers?
Lily: The ones that say: Meet me at the beach at ten. I have a surprise.
Miley: Uh...I didn’t send you any flowers.
Lily: Then who did?
Miley: I don’t know! But whoever it was....must really like you more than I thought.
Lily: Huh?
Miley: Nevermind.
Lily: Ok, I’ll see yah there then.
Miley: Kk.
Lily: (hangs up)
Miley: (hangs up then runs upstair to get dressed)

Chapter 24: Beat That Hannah

(Setting: The Beach Party....at the beach! Duh!! :P)
Lola: (walks in with Hannah) Whoa this party is awesome! (Looks around)
Hannah: Tell me about it. (Looks around too)
Lola: (watches as a cute boy passes by) Hey...Hannah...I’m just gonna go get some....punch. Yeah, some punch!
Hannah: (laughs) Yeah, you do that Lola.
Lola: (walks away)
Jake: (whispers in Hannah’s ear) Hey you.
Hannah: (turns around) Hey yourself. (Smiles) What’s up?
Jake: Ah, nothing much. Were having a guest star on Zombie High though.
Hannah: (interested) Really? Who?
Jake: (shrugs) Alexis Texas.
Hannah: Jake!! NO!!
Jake: (alarmed) What?
Hannah: You can not work with Alexis T —
Alexis: (walks up to them) Talkin about me?
Hannah: No!
Alexis: Oh. I thought I heard my name.
Hannah: Well you heard wrong.
Alexis: Ooooo. Attitude problem Hannah? Wouldn’t want the Press catching you.
Hannah: I didn’t do anything wrong.
Alexis: Mhmmmm. Not yet anyway.
Jake: Am I missing something?
Alexis and Hannah: No!
Jake: Oh, ok.
Hannah: Lets go Jake.
Jake: Kk. See yah Alexis.
Alexis: (waves) See yah! (Walks away)
Hannah: (grabs Jake’s arm and pulls him to a table.) Are you crazy?!
Jake: What?!
Hannah: You can’t work with Alexis! She’s out to get you!
Jake: (laughs) What are you talking about?
Hannah: She has like the most embarrassing thing up her sl —
Oliver: Hey guys!
Hannah: (sighs) I wish people would stop doing that!
Oliver: Sheesh! Doing what? All I said was hi!
Hannah: Nevermind. What’s up?
Jake: Hey Oken.
Oliver: Hey Jake. I was just going to ask if you guys have seen Lily.
Hannah: Oh, yeah, she’s over there next to that cute boy.
Oliver: And your definition of cute is....
Hannah: Oh! Well he has to have like really good looking hair, nothing too greasy or something like that —
Oliver: You know, I think I’ll just go and look for her.
Jake: Sounds like a plan.
Oliver: (leaves)
Jake: (turns back to Hannah) Don’t worry Hannah. Everything will be fine.
Hannah: No it won’t! I hate when people use false info on magazines about me!
Jake: Nobody likes to be lied about.
Hannah: Yeah, I know. But Alexis will make it worse.
Jake: Just enjoy the party.
Hannah: I’ll try.

(Meanwhile.......)

Alexis: Did you get that whole convo?
Person: Yeah.
Alexis: Do you think you can dit it into something else?
Person: (shrugs) I think. It takes some pretty complicated stuff though.
Alexis: I don’t care. Get right on it. And what about the girl?
Person: Ok, and she’s been taken care of.
Alexis: Good. Beat THAT Hannah. (Smirks)
