I think it is because CosmoGirl is for 13 years and older - 7-12 year olds should not read that magazine - it is actually pretty innapropriate.

well, how old are you? if you are 12 I guess it might be okay, but still - just like Seventeen magazine it has some things that younger pre-teens shouldn't be reading (i'm not going into details)
