this is my FIRST fanfiction and I was nervous about posting it! i'll post 2 chapters cause they're kinda short.

Chapter 1: Smiles and Good Marks

*after people who use people. frankie muniz never dropped out of the movie and jake never went to romania*

*at school*

Lilly: Miley, you sure look happy.

Miley: I've just been in such a good mood since yesterday!

Lilly: Cause you and Jake got together?

Miley: Yeah and Saturday is our first date!

Lilly: I know what you should do!

Miley: what?

*oliver runs over*

Oliver: Hey guys! Guess what!

Lilly: What?

Oliver: I got an A on my book report!!

Miley: Good job! You must've actually worked hard on it!

Oliver: I sure did!

Miley: Anyway, Lilly what were you gonna say?

Lilly: I think you should tell Jake your secret.


Chapter 2: Whatever timing's right

Miley: Are you kidding me??!!

Lilly: No! Think about it! Jake trusts you and you trust him so if you really DO trust him, you should tell him!

Miley: I guess that makes sense....

Lilly: And Jake already likes Hannah and it would be cool to not have to hide half of you from him.

Miley: But what if we break up?

Lilly: You guys probably won't break up and even if you do Jake will keep your secret cause he's loyal.

Miley: I don't know, Lilly.....

Oliver:(yup, he's still there) come on, Miley!

Miley:...alright.

Lilly: Yay! When will you do it?

Miley: How about when I go back on Zombie High?

Lilly: That's perfect! Before or after the kiss?

Miley: Whatever timing's right, I guess.

*Jake walks over*

Jake: Miley, I hope it's ok but....---------!

Jake:.. I have to kiss Hannah Montana on Zombie High.

Miley: Oh, sure, I don't mind! It's completly fine!

Jake: That's great! I thought you'd be upset.

Miley: Of course not! It's just acting....right?

Jake:Yeah, don't worry.

Miley: I won't.

*On the Zombie High set*

Jake: Nice to see you again Hannah!

Hannah: Hi, Jake, can I tell you something?

Director: Actors on set!

Jake: Uh, how about after we shoot this scene?

Hannah: But Jake, I -

Director: Action!

Jake:*acting* Then maybe this will change your mind... *kisses Hannah*

Director: Cut!

Jake: Great scene, Hannah!

Hannah: Can I tell you something?

Jake:Yeah, what's up?

Hannah: There's someting I think you should know. I -

Jake: Wait! I know what you're gonna say.

Hannah: You do?

Jake: Yeah, and now, after the kiss, I know I feel the same way too.

*Hannah has a shocked look on her face*

Jake: That's the director. I've gotta go. I'll call you later though.

*Jake leaves*

Hannah: *even though he can't hear her* But Jake! I'm Miley.

*later, Miley calls Lilly and tells her what happened*

Lilly: Oh my god!

Miley: I know! He broke up with me....for me!

Lilly: Miley! You can't let him get away with this! You've gotta break up with HIM before he breaks up with you!

Miley: What's the difference?

Lilly: You don't lose face!

Miley:*hears a beep* Hold on Lilly, it's the other line. *changes the line* Hello?

Jake: Miley?

Miley: Jake? Can you hold on for a second?

Jake: Sure.

Miley: ok *changes the line* Lilly, it's Jake!

Lilly: Uh...no. You're Miley.

Miley: What? No, on the other line it's Jake!

Lilly: Oh my god! Break up with him!

Miley: Got it! *changes the line* Jake?

Jake: Yeah, listen Miley, I've gotta tell you something. I - * Miley interrupts*

Miley: I think we should break up.

Jake: What?

Miley: It's over.

Jake: You wanna break up?! Why?!

Miley: Because you were gonna dump me for Hannah Montana!

Jake: Uh, no I wasn't.. I mean at first I was but then-...wait a minute! How'd you know?

Miley: Uh...My friend told me....*lying*but I don't know how she knew...You weren't gonna break up with me?

Jake: No! I mean at first I was but then I realised that I never really liked Hannah so it was stupid.

Miley: Oh...

Jake: But now that we've broken up, maybe I WILL go out with Hannah!

Miley: Jake, no, I -

Jake: Miley, you wanted to break up with me and that shows that you don't trust me so I'm sorry but now I really do thik we should break up. Goodbye! *hangs up*

Miley: But-ughhh *changes the line* LILLY!!!!!!

Lilly: What? What happened?

Miley: Jake wasn't gonna break up with me!

Lilly: What?!

Miley: He wasn't but now because of YOU we are broken up!

Lilly: Well, you told me he WAS gonna break up with you!

Miley: So what? I didn't ask you for advice!

Lilly: I think it's both our faults.

Miley: Yeah, you're right. What should I do?

Lilly: So now you want advice?

Miley: Yes, please.

Lilly: Ok, you have to make him jealous by pretending to go out with another guy.

Miley: Good idea, but who do you think would possibly go along with this ?

Lilly: I can only think of one person right now.

Miley: Who is it?

Lilly: Oliver.

Miley: Oliver....HA! I almost believed you!

Lilly: I'm serious.

Miley: ....Alright, fine.

Lilly: Just...do me a favor?

Miley: What is it?

Lilly: You're not really gonna start to go out with Oliver are you?

Miley: No. Just pretend. Why?

Lilly: Uh...*clears throat* No reason.

Miley: Oh....my....god! You like Oliver????!!!!

Lilly: No?

Miley: Lilly, you can tell me the truth.

Lilly: Alright, fine, I do. But you can't tell him..or go out with him.

Miley: Don't worry, that won't happen. I want to be with Jake, not Oliver.

Lilly: Thanks.

*Next day at school*

*Miley tells Oliver her plan*

Oliver: What?!

Miley: Come on, Oliver! Please?

Oliver: But I can't go out with you when I like Lilly! Uh...I mean....*sighs* I got nothin'.

*Lilly over hears him and goes over to them*

Lilly: You like me?

*Oliver turns around*

Oliver:*embarassed* Uh...yeah?

*Lilly kisses Oliver*

Oliver: What was that?

Lilly: Something to show that I like you too.

Miley: Ok, now that you 2 are a couple, can we get back to my problem?

Oliver: Ok, Miley, I'll help you just as long as *looks at Lilly* you're ok with it.

Lilly: Uh...yeah,yeah..as long as it's pretend.

Miley:It is.

*Just then Jake walks in with his arm around a very familiar girl*

Miley: Is that...?

Lilly: It can't be!

Oliver: But it is!

Lilly: *Checks her watch* Guys we better get to class.

*Miley, Lilly and Oliver go to class*

*After school, at the beach*

*Lilly's cell phone rings*

Lilly: *answers* Hello? *pause* Can't I stay a bit more? *pause* Fine. *Hangs up* Sorry guys, I gotta go. *Does a quick peck on the cheek with Oliver* *leaves*

Miley: *See's Jake coming* Oh my god! Oliver, Jake's coming here! Kiss me!

Oliver: What? What about Lilly?

Miley: If she trusts us, she'll understand.

Oliver: Ok....*kisses Miley*

*Jake see's them*

Jake: Oh, my god!

*While that was happening, Lilly was heading home*

Lilly: Darn! I forgot my skateboard! I better go get it. *turns around and goes back to the beach*

*Lilly gets to the beach and see's Miley and Oliver kissing. Speechless*

Miley: Do you think he saw?

Oliver: The only way he couldn't have seen is if he's blind.

*Jake gets to the beach*

Jake: Hey guys!

Miley: Hi, Jake. What are you doing here?

Jake: Uh.... getting ready for my date with Becca.*lying*

Miley: At the beach?

Jake: Uh...yeah.

Miley: Right. See you guys tomorrow. Bye.*leaves*

Jake: *After Miley left* Yo, Oken! What the heck are you doing?! (he said "heck" before in good golly miss dolly and he's just really mad)

Oliver: I never knew standing was against the law!

Jake: I don't mean that! Why are you going out with Miley?!

Oliver: Cause I want to! Duh! Bye.*leaves*

*later*

*Lilly calls Oliver*

Oliver: *answers* Hello?

Lilly: How could you?!

Oliver: What?

Lilly: I should have never trusted you!

Oliver: What are you talking about?

Lilly: You kissed Miley!

Oliver: Oh, that. Miley saw Jake -

Lilly: In your mouth??!!

Oliver: No, he was heading towards us and Miley wanted to make him jealous.

Lilly: So you kissed?! You completely crossed the line! We're through! *hangs up*

*Lilly calls Jake*

Jake: *answers* Hello?

Lilly: Jake, are you actually dating Becca? Tell me the truth.

Jake: *sigh* No, I'm just trying to make Miley jealous.

Chapter 9: New couple: Lilly and Jake

Jake: What do you mean?

Lilly: Ok, so Miley and Oliver were only pretending to go out to make you jealous but Oliver was REALLY going out with me but then I saw them kissing so we broke up. Anyway, let's pretend to go out to make them jealous.

Jake: Ok...but Miley and Oliver aren't actually going out?

Lilly: Nope. So here's the deal. Tomorrow, we're gonna hang out together and you're gonna have your arm around me. Got it?

Jake: Got it. Bye. *hangs up*

Lilly: Bye. *hangs up*

*Miley calls Oliver*

Oliver: *answers* Hello?

Miley: Hey Oliver.

Oliver: Miley! Lilly thinks that we're ACTUALLY going out!

Miley: What?! Why would she think that?

Oliver: Cause she saw us kissing!

Miley: Oh no! I'm gonna call her and clear things up. Bye. *hangs up*

Oliver: Bye. *hangs up*

*Miley calls Lilly*

Lilly: *answers* Hello?

Miley. Lilly! Oliver and I aren't actually going out!

Lilly: Well that's too bad, cause Jake and I are!

Miley: Excuse me?

Lilly: Jake and I are going out.

Miley: Lilly, how can you betray me?!

Lilly: Oh, yu wanna talk about betrayal?! You and Oliver kissed!

Miley: It was pretend!

Lilly: Why should I believe you?

Miley: Because I'm your best friend!

Lilly: Some best friend you are, kissing my ex-boyfriend while we were still together!

Miley: *gets really mad* You know what? Fine! Maybe Oliver and I WILL go out!


Chapter 10: The Jealousy Game

*Miley calls Oliver*

Miley: Oliver! We have to pretend to go out!

Oliver: We already are!

Miley: Yeah, but this time, Lilly doesn't know it's pretend.

Oliver: So she'll be jealous?

Miley: I think so. She's going out with Jake though.

Oliver: WHAT?! No, she can't be!

Miley: She is!

Oliver: Ok, we'll do it.

*Next day at school*

*Miley and Oliver are together on one side of the hall while Lilly and Jake are on the other side together*

* They're all "spying" on eachother*

*Jake puts his arm around Lilly*

Miley: *see's that* Quick, Oliver! Put your arm around me!

*Oliver puts his arm around Miley*

*Jake laughs*

Lilly: What's so funny?

Jake: I can't believe you like Oliver.

Lilly: Well he may be a bit of a dork at times but he's really sweet.

Jake: Oh.

Lilly: I really like him. That's the way Miley feels about you.

Jake: Who?

Lilly: Miley!

Jake: Oh, right. I like her alot too. *thinking* I think...


Chapter 11: Jake's Problem

*Miley and Oliver are at the beach*

Miley: I still don't believe it! Lilly and Jake?

Oliver: I know! Wait a minute! Maybe they're only pretending to go out! You know, to make us jealous.

Miley: Oliver, I can't believe YOU figured it out!

Oliver: Well I did.

Miley: I'll call Jake. *calls him*

Jake: *answers* Hello?

Miley: Jake! What is going on? Why are you trying to make me jealous?

Jake: What?

Miley: Why are you pretending to like Lilly?

Jake: I'm not! I mean, at first I was, but then I actually started to like her.

Miley: Oh, my god! Does she know?

Jake: I don't think so...

Miley: Ok, all games aside, lets be honest. I'm not really going out with Oliver and I've gotta know. Do you still like me?

Jake: Um....


Chapter 12: Prove it!

Jake: Can I take a raincheck on this?

Miley: No.

Jake: What?

Miley: No, you have to tell me now.

Jake: Ok, I still like you.

Miley: Well, then do you want to get back together?

Jake: But you don't trust me!

Miley: Yes I do!

Jake: Prove it!

Miley: Hmmm...ok, go to the Hannah Montana concert tonight and go talk to her backstage.

Jake: Why?

Miley:..um...She wants to talk to you about Zombie High.

Jake: Ok.

*later. Lilly is at the beach*

*Oliver is heading there*

Lilly: *thinking* What's HE doing here?

Oliver: Lilly, can I talk to you?

Lilly: Sure! But I won't be listening.

Miley: Yeah.

Jake: I can't believe I didn't figure it out!

*While that was happening.....*

*Lilly and Oliver were heading to the beach*

Lilly: So what was it you wanted to tell me?

Oliver: Oh, right. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I like Miley. I'm sorry.

Miley: So anyway, do you wanna get back together?

Jake: Um....

*All of a sudden, Jake and Miley see Lilly and Oliver heading towards them with Lilly yelling*

Miley: Quick, let's hide!

*Miley and Jake hide behind the counter at Rico's*

*Lilly and Oliver get to the beach*

Lilly: I can't believe it!

Oliver: I'm sorry, Lilly!

Lilly: Well, "sorry" ain't gonna cut it!

Oliver: Hey, it's not my fault I started to like Miley!

Jake: You know, that wasn't a dream....

Miley: Uh...Well, you really don't seem to care that he likes me.

Jake: Cause I like Lilly.

*Oliver is chasing Lilly*

*They reach Lilly's house*

Oliver: Lilly, I still like you!

Lilly: As more than a friend?

*Oliver is silent*

Lilly: Ughh.

*Lilly slams the door in his face*


Chapter 18: Where does Jackson fit?

*Oliver heads back to the beach and see's Jake and Miley*

Oliver: What are you guys doing here?

Jake: Well, Miley heard you like her and fainted.

Oliver: Oh no, you're gonna beat me up aren't you?

Jake: Nope, cause I like Lilly.

Oliver: You do?!

Miley: Uh...bye guys. *leaves*

Jake: So I think it goes like this: I like Lilly, Lilly likes you, you like Miley and Miley likes me.

Oliver: ...Where does Jackson fit into all of this?

*Miley gets to Lilly's house and rings the doorbell*

Lilly: *answers* What?

Miley: Lilly, I'm so sorry.

Lilly: About what?

Miley: You know, that Oliver likes me.

Lilly: Good, then I won't have to explain why I'm mad at you.

Miley: Hey, you can't be mad at me, cause Jake likes you!

Lilly: He does? Well his timing's awful...

Miley: We've gotta get things back to normal!

Miley: *stops and thinks* .....no....

Lilly: So then I CAN go out with him!

Miley: You are the worst best friend if you're gonna go out with my ex-boyfriend!

Lilly: Hey! You started it!

Miley: How did I start it?!

Lilly: You kissed my ex-boyfriend while we were still together!

Lilly: Why don't you record it and then play it for me? That way you won't have to say it as much!

*Lilly's cellphone rings*

Lilly: *answers* Hello?

Jake: Lilly do you wanna go out with me?


Chapter 20: Lilly's decision

Lilly:...sure Jake! I'd love to go out with you!

Jake: Great! I'll pick you up at 6:00pm?

Lilly: Works for me! Bye! *hangs up*

Jake: Bye! *hangs up*

Miley: I can't believe you!

Lilly: Well you're gonna have to find a way to believe it cause Jake and I are going out tonight!

Miley: You're just doing it to make me jealous cause I like Jake.

Lilly: No, I'm not.

Miley: Ughh. *leaves*

*Oliver and Jake are still at the beach*

Oliver: So you and Lilly are going out tonight?

Jake: Yup.

Oliver: Should I ask Miley out?

Jake: If you think she's gonna say yes....

Oliver: Are you ok with it?

Jake: Of course!

Oliver: ok, I'll phone her. *phones Miley*

Miley: *answers* hello?

Oliver: Do you wanna go out with me?


Chapter 21: The Deal

Miley: um....*has 2 flashbacks*

Flashback 1

Lilly: Sure, Jake, I'd love to go out with you!

*End of flashback*

Flashback 2

Miley: You're just doing it to make me jealous cause I like Jake.

Lilly: No, I'm not.

*End of flashback*

Miley: Ok...

Oliver: You don't seem ok with it.

Miley: No, I want to.

Oliver: Movies at 7:00pm?

Miley: Sure. Bye. *hangs up*

Oliver: Bye. *hangs up*

Jake: So do we both have dates tonight or is it just me?

Oliver: It's both of us.

Jake: Really? She said yes to you?

Oliver: Yeah, is there a problem?

Jake: Nope, just a little surprised.

Troy: Great. Do you wanna go to a concert tonight? I have 2 tickets.
