Welcome to Visual Artisans, this club is dedicated to people who are into graphics making like signatures/ blends, wallpapers, Large Pieces/Art or any type of GFX.


How this club works

Since this club is made for graphics makers, we will be doing stuff like making our tag walls (a wallpaper that consist of different signatures of members), providing good C&C’s (referred to as Comments and Criticisms) on posted piece of art by members, and helping each other out on improving in graphics by giving tips and tricks or even providing a tutorial on achieving a certain kind of style like in sig making.
==We also have some friendly sig battles that might occur once this club up and running with members ;)==
==We may even have some “collaborations” like 2 people adding up their own unique style on 1 piece of art they’re making. Two styles are better than one :D==
==Don't be afraid to post your new work ;)==

*Update: if you are not active in 1-2 weeks span without any reason, your name will be remove from the list. this is to prevent members from just joining and not being active at all*

C&C (Comments And Criticisms) and You

C&C - What does it mean?

C&C is abbreviated from the phrase ''Comments And Criticism''. So when someone posts a piece of artwork in this section ''Your Stuff'', whether it be a sig, wallpaper, or a larger piece of art, when people state they would like C&C, they want comments and criticism.

Try to be positive, and state your opinion, point out what ''flaw'' you see. Don't forget to supply them with an explanation on why you think this and detailed information on what you think can be improved. It helps if you provide links for the person to follow.

For example. [I'll use PersonA and PersonB]

PersonB : I like this. The background is stunning. However, I'm not so keen on the colour. I suggest trying some multicolour as suppose to monotone. Try this tutorial ; (Tutorial). The text is ace, and the blending is very good.

wow, I really like how you use that "blur" effect on your sigs, on colorizations, just experiment a lot and just keep trying ;). I know when you choose pics, sometimes they have just low quality but with practice, you can really make it better....

@Mileysabsolutnumber1fan - yay, animated graphics!, it's good that we have someone who knows animation. and for you being a paint user, you blends are really good... you know how to use a basic program like paint effectively.

@Kaitlin - loving those graphcs, I see that you're making good use of the default brushes of Photoshop (lighting and coloring), try mixing different colors using that "screen" blending mode to get more nice coloring ;)

I like the second one... try adding gradient maps (if you have that option) and set it at soft light.. play around with the opacity too, it adds coloring to your sig especially the b/w one :D

I do not know where the pictures came from though. I got them from my sister. I am just talking about the color like thing.

I really like them, but.. some of the coloring

well that's just my opinion, I don't know

cute, if it's only in a small corner, covering

I think it's really good for paint, the one
thing I don't like about this blend, is the
text, I think the pic is sorta gray and
white with blue to me, then all of the
sudden, the pink text jump out and make
me doesn't wanan look at it anymore, so
next time, you can like use a color that

you know what I really help?
I just learn how to do this, I just
dulpicate a lot of layer then set
each of them in a different setting
(soft ligh, color burn..etc..) if I see
a good part, I'll erase the other
part out, and leave that good
part on and flatten it, like sometimes,
a setting look good on another
person's face, but it doesn't look
so well on the other one, so just
kinda mix everything up, this is what I did,

I like it to. Especially the background. However, she seems a bit dark, so maybe try duplicating the picture of Ashley and setting it to screen or adding some more brightness to the overall image. Great job though. Much better than I could do :P.

I love the little lights things at the bottom! looks like fireworks! I LOVE fireworks! But the only thing is that to me it looks like some of her hair on the sides on top got cut off, or maybe my eyes are being retarded. But other than that i LOVE it! Oh I like the background too!

you should try it with darker background too, cuz no matter what, dark background always look better

A family moves into a run-down sunflower farm. As the farm begins to revive after years of disrepair, the family begins to notice uncomfortable and alarming changes in their father's behavior.

^I got the summary from yahoo!, but I don't think that the father has weird behavior. It is pretty much that the girl is experiencing ghosts in her house from people who lived there before her. They were killed and only her and the baby can see it. She tries to make her parents believe her but they think she is crazy, yata yata.
