are you talking about borders?

for text, right click on the text layer, go to blending options then go to stroke, make sure check it too :)

I only go to deviantart.com, just type what brush you want and I'm pretty sure they have... I don't really use custom brushes that much anymore, I stick with the default ones then I just manipulate them using filters and smudging techniques

there is another way to outline the text on CS2....You just go to layer>layer style>blending options. that's for any layer other than text...

it's not actually a border, the bg was made first then they cropped the 3 pictures out in there and pasted it... then added some finishing touches with brushes

I might make a tutorial. I am going to the movies soon so I don't know when I'll be able to make one.

And I think its just the picture. Since the bags under his eyes are pretty big, no matter what you do most coloring is gonna make them seem bigger which will make the picture seem a bit strange.

Try adding some textures or fooling around with stuff..

I liked the other coloring better though ;).

Some people tend to make their own graphics now so not many people get as much request. You should see my gallery, a few comments yet no request:P I'll probably open a new gallery soon. I like your graphics very much though;)

YouKnowYouLoveMe: Great blend (as always!) Maybe a little green around the outline of the face but it still looks cool! I kinda like the green actually, brings out her face more!

for the dots thing, you need a texture. I can give you some if you want. Then you need to copy and paste the texture to your blend. Whatever it is covering up that you don't want covered up, you can erase that. You can also just lighten the texture as a whole. What program do you use? Because I use PSP7 and alot of the tools are the same so I could probably show you with a tutorial.

Rai, I think you should use the second set as your new set. I really love how you do that! I'm learning at the moment =]

I like that set Lia, but personally I like your current set because..
1. I like VH more than EW
2. I like the fonts and text on your current VH one more than the EW one.
3. I like the coloring more on your VH one. It makes it more POPISH the Emma one is not dull or boring its just...less popsih
