you do lol, I like using these because they're like "effects" I rotate and adjust them to my liking and sometimes I even erase some parts... I usually add 3 different textures.. just some parts though not all of it

lol, yeah, you just have to mess around with it like erasing parts that doesn't fit or the best blending modes... it's usually set at either lighten, screen, color dodge, or linear dodge

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0, but it has most of the same features as CS2. it doesn't have selective coloring, curves, layer sharpening and stuff like that.

lol, yep it's better, the technique in using textures is choosing the ones that fits the avatar, you could add some more coloring in there to enhance the textures and blend them more in

edit: I have photoshop elements 3.0, it came in with the camera that my mom bought yesterday, lemme see what features it has

^^you need to lower the opacity on it... like 20-30% opacity, you purple to orange right? I'm gonna make a tutorial on it so you have an idea how I did mine... that first step coloring you did was a very dark blue fill then to set to exclusion right?

I choose the first, I would spread the texture more though on the left so the color is balanced out ;)

you should try erasing the texture around her face area. ;)

well if you ask how a collab goes, one will start a blend/sig and do as much designs/adjustments as he/she wants w/o overdoing it and then they will have to send the file to the other person to do their own thing on it

The icon seems a little unproportionate...if you get my meaning. But nice starry effects :D THE texture on the right of the blend is quite cool, but I think you marked out the small strips too clearly with the lines..
