No. 1; I think that since its so light, you shouldn't have sort of...washed it out like that. Its
cute, but it could be better. :] 72/120
No. 2; this one's my fave. I'm a firm believer that anything with a white background
should have an outline. : P the only things I would have changed are that you should have
done coloring [unless you're using paint, then holy cow you're good] and that the text
could have been moved a little left. 108/120
No. 3; same as no. 2, but it needs a border. : P 104.4/120

I will hunt you down if you quit lol :P, just try out something new besides coloring. to be honest, I'm not fond in doing those selective coloring stuff in my sigs, only in icons since it's too small to work on (and they look cooler with it :P). just go to deviantart.com and search for signature/sig tutorials. I'm pretty sure you'll find something new stuff to work on

Ooh, thanks :D I used a default pattern for the textury effect and I used brushes to make the effects and I desaturated them. The pics are from vanessa-anne.org 's gallery I think. It's the HSM CAST pics, but I just cropped Ashley out of it.

Photostudio has got me addicted:P Anyways, my fourth blend from the program and you know in photoshop, how you guys put textures and then erase it from the face. I tried that and now the face looks too sharp, scartchy, craggy...blah blah:P I have no clue how to make it look normal...and there's no tut out there either! Bah...the face looks too bright...the whole blend looks too bright...anyways here's the blend:

it depends what texture you wanna use, if you're using light textures or anything similar to that, the best blending modes for it are lighten, screen, color dodge and linear dodge and just the eraser lol to if you dont want it in the face

Yeah its a bit strange. It's actually not a texture, it was the grass in the picture of Emma and I thought it looked cool as a background. The "brush" marks are actually like shiny grass :lol:

and i think you should use like a yellowish-golden color or either brownn...with a white outline..maybe still black:)

I like the original version the best. I think the colors are the most saturated and 'warm', if that makes sense, and I don't like the shadowy-outline on the second one. I mean, of course they're all great, I just like the original best.

I guess if you want me to pick of those two, the top one. I <3 all the blue/green colors :P

Hmm... Lets see, LOVE the way you did the 1st Hermionie avatar; the colorization is really cool. and the way you did the ron one makes his hair really stand out. Really cool.
