Ok I'm making a tutorial for Gimp 2.2.:)) If you need help with downloading, making blends, or making avatars. Here are some examples of my blends:
(also to make it easier for me I'm asking that you fill out this form. You don't have to but its easier)

ok here you go. I couldn't do the full picture thing. But hopefully you get ti this way.

1) Open Gimp
2) Go to file and press New
3) For height and width, 100
4) Go to file then Open as Layer
5) pick a picture from your documents
6) Place it where you want it to go on the little square.
7) After your done adding font or a border go to
File and Save As. Don't forget to add .jpg at the end.

I'm soooo sorryyyyy. I couldn't do it the picture way because my computer has been sooo slow lately. So heres this way:

1) Open a new one for about 1000x100.
2) Go to file, then to open.
3) Pick your picture.
4) When the window pops-up go to image, then scale image.
5) Go for hieght: 100
6) Then cut and paste the photo onto the square.
7) Do that as may times as you want.

Go to "Edit Signature" then put the link button you just made in their. Then highlight it and press the hyperlink (http://i15.tinypic.com/2mwf9fm.jpg) on top then type your FULL URL and press ok. And then..... YOU HAVE YOUR VERY OWN LINK BUTTON. I would show you the example but I haven't uplaoded it on to my siggie yet. Hope this helped!:03:

^You have to get GAP (Gimp Animation Package). Fro an icon its like the little ones you ahve on your desktop. Yuo jsut go to your properties and their yuo can make any program or file an icon.

usually the brushes coem along with gimp. hats what happened to mine. And you can downlaod fonts at http://fontface.com Its reallyyyyy good, and way easier than http://dafont.com

The go to downloads
all the way athte bottom it says GAP.

P.S. On mine a new program didn't come up they just added video on the side of script fu on my gimp. But I dunno for other people.

1. find a site with brushes like deviantart.com
2. download it.
3. it should pop up somewhere on ur desktop.
4. click on my computer.
5. click on Local Disk (C: )
6. click on program files
7. click on adobe (or whtvr program of blend u have)
8. then click on adobe photoshop cs2 (or whtvr program of blends u have)
9. click on presets
10. the brushes.
11. move the downloaded brush (on your desktop) to the file 'brushes'

I looked it up..there's another place you can get brushes too!

Heres a simple tut:
1) ................Do everythign you do as if you were going to make a blend, BUT stop at the first pic

2) Once you have the first pic go to "Layer" then "New Layer"

3) Then you should have a new document in the place where your one photo blend you made was

4) Then do that as many times as you want

5) And when your done go to "Filters">"Animation">"Playback"

Hope this helps, I know its small but I'll post a full tut later on!

i do the same as 1 but then i just open up another as another layer... FILE>OPEN AS NEW LAYER then i just open it......then i do that 4 all my pics for the avvie then i save it and save it as gif nd then save as animation then i change the speed............................................. ... theres a tut on here about it

^^ Yeha I saw that tutorial and I used ti but I think that the best way is just with blibs. You can get a better product like that. But thats just my opinion.

^^ Its like winzip (.zip) But when you downlaod files instaed of seeing the file with the zipper you see three books.THats winRAR the other with the zipper is .zip. I can make tutorilas for winRAR only.:( Sory, I know lots of ppl don't have it

3. In that you should see Local Disk C click it.
4. Go to program files and click it
5. Go to Gimp 2.0 or whatever program you have click it(in the program files)
6. Then go to share
7. Go to Gimp or whatever program you have (in the files)
8. click 2.0
9. You should see the word BRUSHES click on it
10. Then copy your brushes into there.

But..if you want to know how to extract them..I'll give that too.
