KiTTYKAT! YOU'RE BLACK!

Here, we are going to be learning how to turn this (http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o18/ophelia_es_muy_fresco/nefp.jpg) into this (http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o18/ophelia_es_muy_fresco/Avatars/finito.jpg). Requires knowledge of tools and blending
modes, I'm too lazy to explain them.
1. Grab your avatar, and open it into a window. If you've done this, skip to two. :P
2. Select this (http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o18/ophelia_es_muy_fresco/red.jpg) gradient (between the colors B40A0D and DCA7B7). Put it ABOVE the actual avatar, and set it
to 'Soft Light'. If the redness does not suit you, change the opacity. So far, we should have this:
http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o18/ophelia_es_muy_fresco/sofra.jpg
3. Next, make a new fill layer. You could do this two ways. (Layer>New Fill Layer>Solid Color OR make a
new layer, and fill it by Edit>Fill) Either way you do it, make a new layer above the gradient, of the color
A4DDF4. Set this to 'Color Burn'. So far, we should have this:
http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o18/ophelia_es_muy_fresco/owch.jpg
4. As you can see, its a tad dark. To change this, merge your layers (ctrl+shift+e) then duplicate your layer
(ctrl+j). Change the blending mode to 'Overlay'. Next, duplicate your layer again, but change this blending
option to 'Screen'. If you do NOT like it, delete the overlay layer. Or the screen one, whichever works. We
now have this:
http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o18/ophelia_es_muy_fresco/gettin.jpg
5. Now, is for the little something extra; a texture. I get mine here (http://s123.photobucket.com/albums/o302/allyouneedismarley/Textures/?start=all), but you can use whatever you find. For
this picture, I'm choosing this (http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o302/allyouneedismarley/Textures/Texture920.jpg). Now that you have your texture, paste it over ALL of the layers. Now, change
the blending mode to either 'Lighten' or 'Screen'. If its in her face, move it until its off, or simply erase. If
you'd like text, add it. But otherwise, you're done.

If any thing's confusing, tell me and I'll try to explain it.
