I made a basic blending tutorial for gimp hope you like it

Pictures I'm using

1) Open the pictures you are using into gimp

2) Open your new blend about 420 by 200

3) Click advanced options (u can choose the color you want it to be I chose white)

4) Click okay, and you should have something like this

5)Copy your image

6) Paste your image into your blank pg.

7). repeat this step to get both pics. in

8) you should have something like this

9) Click the brush (make sure it's on normal)
Click the brush that it's at now and put it on Circle Fuzzy 19 and start
erasing

When your done erasing you should have something like this

Wa la you've blended 2 pics. 2 one add textures, brushes, text, or anything you want to... Then save it u can save it by going to file save as and giving it a name.

2nd tutorial- Adding brushes

1) Go to the file where you saved your brushes, extract them w/ winzip or any other extracting program (you can download winzip at www.corel.com (http://www.corel.com) for 60 days)

2) Something like this will pop up that says open w/ click browse and browse for gimp, when you find it click on it and press open

3) Something like this should pop up

4) click on one you want to open

Click open

5) Go to Script-Fu, Selection, to brush

6) Save the brush as something i did something random like swirlo
then click okay

if you look where your brush is you can see the brush you saved.

Where did you get your brushes from? And do you know where i can get some?

I got the brush from deviantart (or something like that) I typed in gimp brushes

How do you save things that you made on GIMP? Everytime I save it it makes me save it on this usupported file type, so I cant upload my blends to tinypic and photobucket and stuff...what do I do?

This is what you do..

1st make the picture you want, then click save as

2. Save it in whatever file u want, and name it

Reverse Images

1. Get the image/ images you want

2 Click file new and type in 420 220 or whatever
you need depending on your pictures

4. Go to your image and click copy

5 Paste it into ur image

Image Transform Flip Horizontally

1) click T and you see what's yellow?? click the up and down button to change the text size and click the font to change the font

I would overlay or screen or something like that, open that panel by clicking ctrl and L then click on what u want to screen/ overly and etc
