for some reason i cant do text on my gimp

well, i have GIMP 2.2...sometimes you cant add text because you have more than one layer. make sure all your layers are anchored/merged down;)

you can draw your own (which is what i do) and im tryign to figure out if you can download brushes for GIMP 2.2

and i really dont use sparkles, but if you go to Filters->theres bound to be some sparkle effect in there, just play around with it, thats how i learned:D

To Download Brushes::

1. go to www.deviantart.com and search for GIMP brushes or GIMP 2.2 brushes

3. On the left hand side, click Download, then Open.

i have gimp and u shouldnt use that way to put brushes on gimp ecuase i did that and my other ones i downloaded got deleted!!
