View Full Version : Ok, people need to stop posting threads that are not rpgs!

Ok, lately people have been posting things like chapters, and stories in this section! Not to be rude, or mean, but that IS NOT what a rpg is! A rpg is when you have a list of people or characters, and people sign up to play them. I know what you're thinking. How in the world does someone play the part of a person in this kind of play? Do they have to type in the lines the rpg starter tells them to? Well, you make up your lines first of all, and make it up as you go! And you do sometimes have to go by the setting. I have made this thread because people have been posting nonrpgs, and that is sort of spam. And the forum rules identify that if you post something that is in any way off topic in the forum, it's called spam! And another thing people try to do, is add themself into the rpg, when they aren't even signed up in the rpg! That's what a real rpg is!

I think they are posting in the right area, because they are putting storys with different settings, theme's, and that's still RPGin', right? Maybe not with members...but yeah.

Ok, what I was trying to say, was that some people were adding themselves to a rpg without asking permission.

Ok, there has to be a list of characters, and there has to a theme, and a title. In my rpg, someone didn't ask to join it, and they went a head and starting playing in it!

Actually, I've been in like, almost 7 rpgs, so I know what I'm talking about.

I'll watch out for those other type of non-RPG things.

We're actually working on possibly getting a writer's corner section, where you can post fan fics, stories, and all that sort of stuff, so it might solve the problem.
