to help the less fortunate around the holidays or any day at all?? I have made this thread so we could share what we have done to help others either around the holidays or any day at all please be True on this thread. OK i will start

At my church we have this program that around Christmas we fill a shoebox with gifts for the less fortunate and you know how there was a tsunami a while ago? anyways we were sending the boxes there and i filled a huge shoebox with so many gifts and i speant 100 dollars making a girl or boy happy but it was worth it! Then this year a while ago at school we had this thing called quarters for kids where every quarter we raised we could make a meal for the homeless and we could bring in spare change or dollar bills so we could help feed the homeless and i raised 48 dollars in change and bills and my whole class raised about 386 dollars and then our teacher went to a charity in downtown and helped feed breakfast lunch and dinner to all the people there. We even raised some money so we could make some gifts for them too! it was so much fun and the best part was that we made people happy and we helped them have a meal! It's always good to help others! :P

i volunteered to help at a party for the kids who have parents in jail and won't have as much as other kids on christmas.

I've worked at a food bank
I've worked at a humane society.

My school had a can drive at our Christmas concert. I of course brought cans.

me and my friend started a charity to donate money to a research fund for a disease that our best friend has....
-we have a toy drive at my school and in both of our buildings
-we do a food drive around thxgiving, xmas, hanukkah, and other jewish holidays
-we organize one day a month where 25 people (from my grade) get out of school early (at 12:30) and come to the hospital where the children are treated and we tutor them, and play games with them
-we organize 1 middle shcool dance every 2 months where you can bring up to 5 friends from out of school and there is a 50$ entrance fee, all the money goes to the research fund (this year we made around 45,000!!!!!!....we had extra donations)
-we have a bake sale at school every wednesday and all the money goes to the research fund
we do a lot more little stuff...........

i also go to a soup kitchen on saturday nights with my friends from hebrew school and we help make dinner for the visitors
i participate in many events at my school

and a lot of other stufff..but it might take a while to think of all of itttt haha
