EWWWWWWWWW we did that last year, I got stuck in the class that did sooo many. Lets see we disected an earth worm, squid(which they let us eat, ill get to that later), frog, star fish, cow eye, and a chicken heart
The squid was freshly caught and we were at Catilina then..

yeah i did in 7th grade but we didnt use gloves. i named the frog ronald, i dont know why lol. we also disected a worm, that was pretty pointless if you ask me. next year in biology you have to disect a cats eye which sounds nasty to me but oh well it'll be next year in 10th grade so im good.

Guys, seriously it's not that bad! All the blood has been replaced with plastic and the animals are already dead. They don't use femeldihide (sp?) in the pigs, anymore, either. I thought it was cool. And I did both the frog an the pig in the same month! I admit it takes a minute to get used to cutting it open, but once you get past that it's easy!

The guy next to me cut off its head and sawed its legs in half (mostly because he wasn't taking the class so he didn't have to stop and view everything, and becasue we had extra piggies!)

My mom todl me about her biology class when the class clown thought it would be funny to use the pig's small intestines as a jump rope. Don't do that and you'll be fine.

yah the pigs are already dead..usually if the mom is having difficulties giving birth or the animal wouldnt make it alive they do an operation to remove the baby. its not animal cruelty...most of the animals they disect, not in school though, are for research purposes to cure them!

we are supposed 2 disect a frog next year i will get an F because i would not be able 2 cut a frog open but one of my best friends loves animals 2 and and she refuses aswell and a few other people i know say they will refuse aswell

They usually tell you that if you can't do it without puking, get with someone who will do all the work.
