OK, so I am built slightly larger than the teeny girls in my class.I'm in Dance and I run ALOT, and jump around. Also, My friend and I never stop moving. So its not that I'm not active, but I feel too chubby. I want to know how to maintain an excellent figure like them. I have great calves.but not the greatest stomach.I mean I don't care about my chest area thats fine but I think I need to lose like 20-35 pounds in the rest of this year and next.My goal is 90 pounds, because I'm 10 and thats not bad for my age. right now I'm about 115- 120. One of those. So if you could tell me what I could do for my diet plan, that would rule so talk to you later.
P.S.: I now im overweight for my age.
Signed,
To Eat or not to Eat
Okay well although the goal of losing 20-35 pounds may seem good... i think that that may be un realistic. you need to start out with a smaller goal and a smaller time period to do it in. but you need to wait till the holidays are over... because no one loses weight during the holidays. but start on new years and say but february i want to lose 5 pounds... or something like that. and then set the same goal for march, and then april, etc, etc. but dont do any extreme diets! just stick with the excercise (that you are obviously already getting), and eat healthy... maybe limit yourself to one junk food or candy or whatever a day. and make sure to drink tons of water. and other than that, ya just gotta stay active and eat as healthy as you can... but that doesnt mean you cant have lets say one treat a day. just make sure not to do anything extreme!!!!
~Hope it helps!!

Well, firstly I don't know pounds so I don't really know all the average and stuff like that in pounds.
Everyones different you know. Maybe you are just big boned or you have bigger muscles then those teeny girls.
Can those teeny girls run like you? Are they as energetic as you?
For all you know, they're probably jealous of your fitness and activeness.
You don't see teeny people competing in tennis or swimming ro something.
I have a friend who I think might be just like you. She is very pretty, but isn't teeny like the other girls, but neither is she overweight or fat. She's just got a bigger build than the teeny girls.
I'm glad you could acknoledge something good about yourself - this shows you do have selfesteem though.
As long as you eat healthy and keep the activeness you have now - you have nothing to worry about.. you're only ten.
Hope this helps! - Tasha :)

At the age of 10 I don't think you need to worry so much about this. Your body is continually changing, and it will balance out. You say that you are overweight, however you haven't really specified your body type... are you tall? It might be a good idea to find out your BMI before you jump to conclusions that you are overweight ;)

I think ten years old is a little too young to even think about dieting. You are young, and your body isnt ready for that yet. But not eating is deffinately NOT the answer. You will find the longer you depive your body from food, the more weight you will gain. Lets say if you eat breakfast then you don't eat for the rest of the day, then you eat breakfast the next day, your body thinks it isn't ever going to get food again, so it hangs on to every peice of fat it can, there for you GAIN wait instead of loseing it.
PS you give good advise Hannah Montana = Life <3 =)

As Dreem said, check your BMI (body mass index) before you jump to conclusions that you're "fat".

okay I'm learning stuff here. I'm only 9, and I weigh 66 pounds. I think I'm light, all my friends can pick me up, but I'm still chubby cuz I still have baby fat. The only reason why is probably baby fat, cuz you shouldn't usually loose it until 12, so I guess maybe just eating healthy's okay, but you don't really need to go on a diet.

Idk if this helps but I used a calcualter on my diet site and if u are 5 ft 120 is heathly! u would actually be to thin if u were 90lbs! Plus I'm in the same thing as u although i'm 17 i'm not as thin as other girls but i'm not overweight (so i understand the feeling of being a puppy whose paws are to big for its body) ..... i hope this helps!

oh and sometimes your stomach feels big after you eat or drink. like after i eat dinner i gain a pound and then lose it overnight and after i go (well you know) so dont worry about that. plus not everyone will have a six pack! i know i dont!
but dont not eat! dont take away from your normal diet. add to it. as in add nutritional stuff and not much junk food.but still eat your favorites everynow and then. speaking of....i should start that now.lol
