i havent been doing as well in school this year. its getting really hard and im not understanding any of the work. i keep forgetting to bring home things i need to turn in the next day. i want to be homeschooled but i dont know how to tell my parents. i've asked them once but they said no. i study all the time but i still get bad grades. im losing all my friends too. i only have about 2 friends and they barely talk to me. it would be easier if i was homeschooled but i dont know how to ask my parents. they used to want me to be but not anymore i guess...got any ideas???
wow um ok well first I was homeschool in the middle of
7th grade and I decided to go back to school in 8th grade
of this year:lol: I didn't like it because I was so sheltered in
and I actually had more work than i would have if i went to regualr
school:15: and i never got to see my friends or nothin but
everyones got their opinions on it. But if you really wana do this
I would sit your parents down and say "Look Im not doing
very well in school and I really think I should be homeschooled"
can we please try this and if it doesn't work out you could
always go back to regular school:D I hope this advice worked:57:

Yeah i agree you should really just sit your parents down and tell them waht you really feel about being home schooled becasue from what i gather it seems to be a viable choice for you given your described circumstances.

Granted, i'm not sure how old you are, but it might be too late to start with homeschooling. Usually, kids start there and then eventually go to a regular school.
As for forgetting things, what you need to do is to get organized. Get a weekly planner and write down all of your assignments and what you've done that day, and look at it before you leave school, reminding you of what you need.
If you are falling behind because you don't understand things, there are other options. Have your parents spend time to go over things with you, stay after and get help from the teacher, or get a tutor. There are places where you can go for schoolwork help, where they will work with you and find ways to help you and give you study tips to help improve your grades and your study habits. I'd try that before you resort to wanting to be home-schooled.
Remeber home-schooling means no friends in your class, no hanging out after class and such. It doesn't matter how many friends you have or don't have there, that shouldn't be an issue.

Since you are falling behind with your work, try asking one of your teachers for help. Or your parents.
