The Country Music Association (CMA) Awards are billed as "country's biggest night." Well, the 40th annual ceremony on Monday was one of country's longest nights.

Those were the official prizes given by the 6,000 members of the CMA. Here are the ones we would have given:

Star in the Making Award: It may have been scripted, but they didn't act like they were reading cue cards. Miley Cyrus, 14, star of the Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" and a rising singer herself, presented an award with her dad, "Achy Breaky Heart" star Billy Ray Cyrus. She told him to take off his sunglasses, and he snapped, "I don't tell you what to wear." And she retorted, "That's right. Remember the mullet."

no Miley Stewart is 15 in the show, she started out as 13, then she had the birthdayso she's 15 now. Well she has a birhtday in the show. In real life right now she's 14, her birthday passed.

She means that Miley Stewart [on the show] started out as fourteen, then in the episode with her birthday, she became 15.

Miley Cyrus [the real one] was 13, but her birthday has recently passed, so she is 14.

she is 14 both on the show and in real life.

in the first episode they say she is 14 but then she has a birthday not too much later. they said she was 14 ahead of time. just like if you are only a week away from turning 16 you'll say "oh I'm 16." We know she has to be fourteen (not fifteen) because she is in the 8th grade and her friends are the same age as her.
