Theres no point in keeping your feeling for her inside of you but you should take it slowly and kind of get the sense of whether she enjoys the time with you and decide from there waht you are going to do about the relationship that you want to start with her. but if you don't start you wil never get anywhere.

Get to know her first, if you don't already. Talk to her maybe before class or between classes and try to pick up hints that she might drop, girls like that.

After talking about a week or so, just ask if she wants to hang out sometime as friends, or with a group of friends. Then you can move into asking her on a real date
I think it's better to get to know your crush a bit first before you ask them out, just in case you don't like what you find out or if they are different than what you had thought. Better sooner rather than later.

this is the easiest advice i have ever given anybody- just because she was out of town for homecoming doesn't mean she doesn't want to go out w/u. just keep trying. girls notice when a guy is making an effort and appreciate it. like Miley's father says in the Hannah Montana episode 'Oops, I meddled again!'- "It's not what you say, but having the guts to say something." I'm telling you, just make an effort. most girls that have a decent head on their shoulders will appreciate it.

i have an idea. Why don't y'all start talkin and you know get to know each other. then gradually say stuff like hey you're really nice and maybe we should hang sometime:D
