School full of EDs (RPG)

[Headed4Broadway]

So, this idea was brought about between Bestofbothworlds and I. The RPG takes place in a high school, but in this one, many of the characters will have eating disorders, self injury issues, or other mental illnesses. Most the characters will be in 9th grade. There will be some sane characters...:lol: ...and we will also have counselors, and parents, maybe siblings too. I'm allowing people to take on more than one role since there will be many. If you like to make up a character, PM with a bio and I will read through it. If I think it fits, I'll approve it and you can use it. If I think another character would work, I'll notify you. Please PM with the character you want and why you think you should play it. When we start to post, every character will need to post in a different color. If you have any questions, please PM me.

Lauren-A tall, think, blonde who's parents are divorced. She is very preppy and loves to party. Her clothes are sometimes slutty, but that's just her personality. She tells you how it is, and isn't always the nicest person. She is a social drinker, but she doesn't care how damaging it is. People suspect her of being anorexic. (9th grade) Bestofbothworlds

Alex-Short, and somewhat stout brunette. Dresses preppy and is friends with lauren. Her parents are extremely rich and she lives in a very large house. She is also a partier and is very stuck up. She likes to sing, but her voice isn't as good as she makes it out to be. (9th grade) x_iluvcole_x

Katie-Average sized girl, her hair color is brown with somewhat of a red tone. She is also preppy, loves Hollister. She is best friends with Lauren and friends with Alex too, but sometimes she really can't stand the girl. She tries to be nice to everyone, but she has a short temper. She stays away from alcohol, and is very worried about Lauren's drinking problem. (9th grade) 123_abc

Kyle-Football player, Lauren's boyfriend, and is extremely hot. He is a social drinker and has a secret drug problem. He has his license and is usually the one to transport everyone everywhere. He has been known to cheat, and has cheated on Lauren 3 times so far with Katie. (10th grade) mileyz fan tennessean gurl!

Mark-Hot hockey player, he has dark hair and deep blue eyes. He's tall and slim, but is muscular. He's single, and isn't really crushing on anyone at the moment. He loves girls with red hair who are outgoing, but sweet. He also has his license and is good friends with Kyle. He doesn't have any drug or alcohol problems, but may be on the verge of one. Sophia-A very beautiful girl from Peurto Rica. Is fluent in Spanish and English. Her parents are very rich and the live in a large estate on the largest lake in the city. She enjoys going out jet skiing and boating. Her clothing style is not preppy, but more...err...sexy. She is secretly crushing on Kyle. She is a very talented hip-hop dancer. Idina-A girl whose family comes from Asian and European areas. She has a very unique look that makes her very beautiful. She has dark hair, high cheek bones, and dark eyes. She has somewhat pale skin with a peach undertone. Her clothing style is casual and laid back. She has a very unique style of singing, and has a very beautiful, light voice. She is currently suffering from bulimia. Her height is 5'5 and her weight is 107lbs. She is currently seeing the local counselor.(9th grade) Super_miley_fan01

Vanessa Rose-Pretty redhead with pale skin and freckles. Is short and average size at the moment, but is suffering from anorexia. She is also a cutter, which she has been at much longer than ana. She longs to be popular, but doubts it will ever happen. She is a very good student and stives perfection. Her height is 5'2 and current weight is 115lbs. She is a talented actress and singer and longs to be on broadway. She may be suffering from borderline personality disorder. She is sercetly crushing on Mark, but is too scared to make a move. Kate-A balarina who is pale because of her disorders. She wears baggy clothes often. Her hair is short and blonde, she has mystical green eyes. She is extremely talented with her dancing and has a good chance of being a famous balarina. However, she is curently suffering from anorexia, but switches back between ana and mia often. Okay guys we're going to go ahead and start now! I'll go first. Don't forget to post in a color.

Vanessa woke up early at 5:00 AM on monday moring, the first day back to school since fall break had terminated. She walked across her bedroom to flip on the light and stared sadly into her mirrored closet door. "You look even fatter than you did yesterday!" she thought to herself. "There's no way you can let anyone else see your body. It was probably those almonds you ate yesterday that left you looking like this. You can't eat...you must fast for at least two days to get back on track." Vanessa was so upset with her body, she just couldn't bear being in it anymore. She wanted perfection, but it wasn't coming to her easily, or at least so she thought. She looked at the plad skirt and pretty purple V-neck Bannana Republic sweater she had picked out to wear the night before accompanied by her thin strand of tiny pearls. She instead opend her closet door and pulled on her Levi's, a T-shirt, and an oversized navy sweater that was her mother's back in the 90's. She approached the bathroom quietly and applied very exaggerated make-up to cover her pale skin and ugly face (or so she thought in her mind). She weighed herself twice before she went down stairs to pack up her bag and grap a Kashi bar----props for lunch so her friends wouldn't be suspicious. Both times the scale read 115lbs. "You have to get down to 105 by the end of this month Vanessa Rose! You just have to!" her mind spoke. She patiently waited downstairs watching the news and learned what was going on now in Long Island, New York. She waited for the clock to strike 6:22, the time when bus number 342 would come to pick her up and transport her to school.

It's 6:00 a.m. and Katie finally woke up,she went to the shower immediately and took a shower for about 20 minuites.Katie said to herself "Gosh my friend is so skinny,she thinks she's so fat but she is so skinny".Then she ate her breakfast and fixed her hair put some accesories and then left her apartment!

WHOA!!! Okay guys this needs to stop for a second. Please read the character bios before you start playing your character. 123_ABC--Katie doesn't even have a license, so how can she have a car? She's in 9th grade, that means she's either 14 or 15, she won't have her license for another year or so. And for the rest of you, your RPG entries need to be longer and more descriptive like mine. Here's an example:

Elphie was beginning to get annoyed having to carry her suitcase, but also because of what Paris had told her. The very idea made her older sisterly instincts kick in and she began a reue loathing for the girl all together; even more when she first met Glinda their first yeat at Shiz. She was the typical popular blonde, and I was the outcase...even though that much hasn't changed, we've grown on eachother...but this girl....I don't like her. At all. Finally, she snapped at the group, "Are we going to stand here all day like statues or are we going to find somewhere to put our things?", her dark eyes showed a slight anger in them as she spoke. Calm down, don't get upset...it's fine. Taking her hair out of the braid she had been wearing, Elphie peered at the group and heavy sighed, awaiting an answer.

Paris walked up to Elphaba and said to her quite quitetly "I'm so happy we're friends". "So Skylie, when you mean affordable you mean a jucuzzi, a theatre hall, oh and king sized bed, and room serivce..." Paris kept rambling on. "Boq, let me get some of these bags for you" said Paris taking one bag from Boq. "Actually... One second". Paris starting dialing a number. "Hello, Daddy. Will u send us The Ozmopolitan Carriage? Ya, Mhm. Well, we're in a big group and theres quite aslot of bags. Ok, Great. Love you." Paris said while talking on her phone. "Is it alright if my daddy's car picks us up and brings us and our bags to the hotel?" said Paris to the group.

From now on, if you have thoughts that your character is saying to his/herself, they need to be in italics. If your character is speaking to another character, they need to be in "quotes".

She puts on a really short skirt with a spaghetti strap shirt and some high heels, and then curls her hair and mixes up the outfit with some really big earrings. She walks down stairs and approaches her mom. "Hey mom. Ugh. No breakfast please, I'm pretty full from last night." Without her mom looking she takes her moms keys and drives to school, even though she is without a license. She calls Katie right away with her pink Razor cell phone. "Want me to pick you up in my mom's convertible?"

bestofbothworlds--i edited your post in the way it should have been done. let's try it like that from now on? Here's the rules:

1. Post in past tense, third person (ex. She went to the store to buy cheese, but she had to leave because of an urgent phone call. this is the WRONG way to post: I go to the store to buy cheese, but I left becasue I received an urgent phone call.)

2. If you are posting what your character is saying to his/herself, post it in italics. (ex. She approached the kitchen to fix breakfast. Hmm...what should I have to eat...ah, we're all out of milk AGAIN?! I guess I can't have cereal.)

3. If your character is talking to another character, use "quotes". However, do not write what another character says. (ex. Lisa got into her car to take her daughter to school. "Anna, are you okay? You look a little sick. this is the WRONG way to do it: Lisa got into her car to take her daughter to school. "Anna are you okay?" "I don't know mom, I feel sick."

4. Post at least a four sentence paragraph..not just one sentence

Meanwhile, Vanessa was sitting quietly on the bus listening to some showtunes on her Pink iPod nano. No one sat next to her, but she was okay with that. She daydreamed of Lauren, and how perfect, skinny, and popular she was. She would do anything to be her. Lauren. Man, she's sooo gorgeous and hot, not like me. I so wish I was her! Popular and pretty and skinny, so boys would actually flirt with me and date me. But who wants to date a fat, ugly redhead? Obviously no one. She rambled on in her mind, longing so much to be Lauren, maybe even to the point where she had to give up her love for theatre. Soon bus 342 reached Valley Stream Central High School and Vanessa Rose turned off her iPod and placed it in her bag. She exited off the bus, almost tripping on the curb of the school. Oh my God Vanessa! You're such a clutz! She waited patiently in the brisk fall weather of Long Island, NY for Idina and Scarlett to arrive at school.

I'm so excited about the mall, I haven't been shopping in such a long time" But Vanessa knew that when they were to go to the mall, she would feel so huge and fat and not want to by anything. She sat on the toilet and opened her bag. She took out a small compact and pulled the glued mirror from its case. She threw it on the floor and picked up the sharpest peice. Nessa rolled up her sleeve, at this point hyperventilating, at slashed it against the pale, freckled flesh on her arm. Blood dripped and pigmented her skin a deep red. She quickly unravled toilet paper and dried the cut. She took out her retainer case, carefully put the broken mirror piece in it for later ussage, and pulled out one of the many band aids she had been secretly stashing in the case. She applied it to the cut and rolled her sleeve back over her arm.
