okay, my friend is in the same problem as you. And this is the advice that I told her to do, and it worked!! Tell him you just want to be friends, that way he wont be that upset. If you do choose to take my advice, dont ignore him, after you broke up with him, act like you never went out before, like you guys were just friends. I told me friend that, and he totally understood!! Try it!!
